It's wrong link too.
don't know wky is not working this link, please use the first link of the first reply of the thread
Really fine?
For me it runs quite slow
Not for Artemis
This one worked NOT fine on MY Orbit.
Installed it, used for 1 day, removed it. Better stick with Opera Mini 4.1 which I really love.
It runs really SLOW. Not only while browsing, but entering menu, modifying settings... Web rendering far more slow than Opera mini.
Beside, its original design is for VGA monitor (and 528MHz, 192MB RAM) HTC Diamond. The QVGA version was not complettely converted: still too big favorite, settings menu items...
However, nice browser. Maybe next device, not this Artemis.
Hi all,
i'm using Tom Rom black and blue 4.3 ;
maybe this rom supports better the new opera mobile, its working on this ....
Hi There,
seems that manila 2D QVGA is out. You can find roms for other device (trinity, polaris ecc) already included it.
Who will be the first to cook an artemis rom with this stuff?
The race started!
Thank YOu
Bye
Ps. Some links:

I'm totally new on cooking ROMS and I've seen the great work that our friend did on creating the Vanilla ROMS...
I'm thinking about starting to cook my own ROMs and post them here for everyone...
Any suggestions on where I can get the Manila 2D to use on an Artemis ROM?
I would love to start with something this great...
UHM... I don't know where get it, but I've read a lot more and seems that 3d hardware is needed... in that case, no manila 2d for artemis.
bye

cab is out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2634199&postcount=166
I have tried the new cab, but with this version my SPB Now screen doesn't work anymore. When I remove the cab file, SPB Now works again.
Link is broken...
Is there any other way to get the cab?
check this section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=260
Its getting bigger and bigger though that package and it will make your device kinda slowish as it is now.
The keyboard is nice though from it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426281. I noticed some performance lag with the other keypad that was made with the diamond as base.
The manila 2d works good on Artemis xD
The other stuff at the ppc will be a little slow :O
batterystatus overclocking don't work so its extra slow.
Damn...Maybe if we open Manilla 2D and try to optimize it for Artemis?
What language was it programmed with?
most info can be found and modified in the xml file from what people said
If so, we should try to work on that...
BTW, anyone knows if Artemis Screen supports 640x480 resolutions?
artemis is QVGA meaning quarter VGA (vga = 640x480 / 480x640) in resolution.
So that is 320x280 or 280x320. Applications made for VGA resolution wont work afaik.
Thks for the info, Zetsumei...
I didn't know how it worked....
Hi,
after my tests:
1st: B&B 5 pretty loaded with stuff + Manilla2D = death, too slow even for snail.
2nd: Oops Black v1 clean + Manilla2D = late reaction, lags, very slow start.
I'll go back to my B&B5 with stuff and wait for complete rom with Manilla2D (instead of HHS). Maybe We can count for now B&B rom with Manilla2D included...who knows.
I'm reading some tutorials on how to cook, I'll try to get Vanilla 4.01 and take HHS out and put Manilla2D in it...Let's see how it will work...
I'll make sure to get everyone updated about it...If anyone want to help me, send me a PM.
Greetings all!
Am new to the Touch HD section and so have a few questions,
I used to have a polaris which i flashed and fooled around with pretty often.
However with the Touch HD im more nervous!
The main thing that i want to do is to change the TF3D icons into the iphone icons, (i dont want an i phone i just like the icons), on the polaris i could juts change the files in the windows directory and restart,
My question is can i use the same files for the Touch HD, only reason im asking is becasue im used to qvga and am now a WVGA user!!
Any responses would be greatly appriciated,
Thanks

I know it is Diamond but most work on HD.
I personally use: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450278
These are all theme files and .manilla ones,
Im tlaking about getting png files and editing the homesettings.xml,
Is this the same on TF3D and it was on my Polaris's TF2D ???
Hi all,
I want to know if it's possible to run XBmod Manila Rhodium on my hermes.
Anyone here test that and what was the result.
Tnx All
Thats VGA and Hermies is QVGA so i doubt that will ever happen besides even the ported QVGA 3D manilla doesn't work on the Hermies.
Hello People and Devs,
did any dev tried porting photon (htc hd mini) ext + sys on diamond. both have vga resolution and all ext packages should be usuable. im just asking maybe i am going to do one more rom for the diamond.
photon is HVGA ie 360 x 480
everything will need some porting to get it working on diamond
okay so tachi is still only newer device using native vga ?
