My Q2 worked fine with my Vibrant but I'm having trouble with the MT3GS. Here is what I do:
1) Put Q2 in pair mode
2) Start pairing on phone
3) Phone asks to verify passkey (didn't do this on Vibrant)
4) I hit Pair
5) Headset automatically tries to pull contacts
6) Headset gets stuck in a loop saying "please wait"
7) If I turn off BT and headset and turn both back on, the headset connects even though it isn't listed as a pair device - WEIRD
8) If I force an update phonebook, step #3 repeats
9) I press pair and a dialog box appears saying that it can't pair the device even though I wasn't trying to pair
Any ideas?

i updated my touch to 6.1 now it wont find my motorola S9 headset what do i do
my s9 works fine on my touch and titan wm 6.1....make sure when u first power on your s9 the blue light stays solid...this means its in pairing mode, then open up connections manager, click settings, bluetooth, find new device and it should find it in a few seconds
It should work just fine, upgrading to WM6.1 doesn't change the way your bluetooth functions.
i've had trouble pairing my bluetooth as well. instead of going to bluetooth explorer, go to settings > connections > bluetooth > add new device (even if its in the list still click this). after it finds the headset go through all the settings then when your done tap and hold where it says S9 (or whatever your headset is called) then choose set as wireless stereo, then it will say your device wants to connect. if it says the passcode is invalid try again and it should work. while this way of pairing my headset can take around 5 min. or more, its the only way it seems to be working.
i am not sure if your phone is showing the same symptoms as mine or not, but if this is a common problem then i hope someone smarter than me can fix it, becaue the way i have to set it up is a real pain.
I got a Samsung WEP460 for xmas and tried to connect with my Desire (non-branded (not unbranded!), non-rooted, official firmware) and it paired once, made one phone call with it - seemed to be working great.
However, I disconnected bluetooth and reconnected it later (assuming it would just connect up) and it seemed to have lost my headset from the pairing list in settings->wifi and bluetooth -> bluetooth
Tried to turn on the bluetooth headset into pairing mode again but got no lights/sound from the headset...
Thinking it had just run out of juice (not charged enough) - charged it up again, and it let me re-pair it to the Desire - however it asked for the passcode, then said paired but not connected.
pressed to connect and it wouldn't connect -
repeated this a few times and it still won't connect again at all.
When it tries to connect once and fails the headset seems to lock up and i get nothing out of it - not sure if this is a headset issue, or a Desire/Android issue...
Anyone else have any thoughts on this before I take the headset back to the shop?
thanks
tried connecting the headset to an iphone which worked.
tried on my desire again last night and that worked too.
the only difference was i made sure that the headset was 'turned off' (held for 4 sec to disconnect from phone) before turning off bluetooth on phone and then it seemed a lot happier...
strange!
Hola,
I'm having Bluetooth problems. When I paired my Galaxy Nexus with my car (2012 Passat SE) and with my home phone, I made my phone visible and then told the devices to search for my phone and initiated the pairing from them.
The pairing request popped up on my phone, I typed in the PIN, finished the pairing on the device side, and it worked.
When I'm not connected to these devices, they don't show up in my list of paired bluetooth devices like my bluetooth headset, heartrate monitor, etc do. I put all of those devices into pairing mode and initiated the pairing from my phone, however.
Now, when my phone is in range of these devices and they start up, a pairing request pops up on my phone. I have to type the BT pin in (twice for my car!) before they're paired again. It is not automatic, and is as though my phone has no memory of these devices at all. For my car, every time, I need to tell it that the car can access the phone book.
How can I get the phone to remember these connections so I don't have to type in a PIN every time?
Thanks!
Rob
EDIT: I'm running stock 4.0.4, rooted.
As I faced this I am sharing the info with you all. I hope you benefited.
After pairing up 3 to 4 devices, sometimes you need to connect to a new one for which it doesn't pair directly in the same way the mobiles
1. Your mobile device supports the A2DP Bluetooth profile and has a music player feature.
2. Ensure that your mobile device Bluetooth is switched on and press and hold power button for sometime until blue indicator light starts to flash quickly or blinks.
3. Within about 3 minutes, activate the Bluetooth feature on your device, and set it to search for Bluetooth devices. naming like BH-505 or any user named by user.
4. Select the headset from the list of found devices.
5. If necessary, enter the code 0000 to pair and connect the headset to your device.
when that device get connected it's ready for use.
Hi, every one! I bought brand new JBL Bluetooth Headset, model name is JBL Reflect mini BT2, and when i turn bluetooth and headset on, there is nothing in the pairing menu. I had older BT-Headphones and everything worked fine. However, the JBL headphones connect to my Galaxy Tab A perfect. On my Mi5S runs LineageOS 16.0, latest update.
Greetings
You might have already tried this since you managed to pair the headphones to another phone, but maybe they don't want to pair to a new device unless the following is done:
To connect to a different Bluetooth device, first switch the headphones off.
Now press and hold the center button on the headphone remote control for about 3-5 seconds.
You should see the light blinking red/blue to indicate pairing mode, and the voice prompt should state “looking for device”.
You should see "Reflect Mini 2" appear on the source's BT list. Choose that option, and wait for the voice prompt to state “connected”

I do this everytime and also did a hard reset on the headset and still not found.
I'm on LOS 16 too and don't have problems connecting to a headset or BT speaker. Here's one crazy idea Go to Developer settings (might need to enable them first - go to About phone, and click on build number at the very bottom until you get a note that you're a developer). Now go to System, Advanced, Developer options and under Networking hit Show Bluetooth devices without names. This will give you a list of BT MAC addresses. I'm curious if you see the JBL listed now. You can get its MAC address from the other phone.
