I'm running CM6 RC1... anyone else having this problem when you click send to phone, it says sent, then it takes minutes to show up on your phone?

So for the longest time whenever I received a txt msg from anyone it was always an hour behind which was really annoying!! Yes these people were on the same timezone as me..
Well I finally found a cab last night and ever since I installed it my received txt msgs are the correct time!!
I thought I would share it and hopefully if you have that problem it would fix it.
I have similar problem...Sometimes i do not receive message until i go into Messaging on my phone...Is this solution for this too or should i try some other radio or something else?

I have no idea what would be causing that problem. This will only help if the received txt msgs you're getting are exactly 1 hour behind the current time it is.
For example if I send my friend a txt at 7:00am and he replies right back it will actually show 6:01am
After I install this the correct 7:01am time is displayed.
Help. I am completely frustrated.
My tmobile touch pro 2 all of a sudden can not receive any text messages. When I switch out my sim card to another phone it gets texts immediately so there is nothing wrong there.
I've already tried resetting the phone many times and even left the battery out before doing so. When I send a text message to my own phone number from the phone I get a text back from the system administrator stating that the message was not delivered and that I should check the address and try again.
I've used other phones and texting services to try to send myself texts but nothing comes through. Is there anything else I can do?
Glad to see I was not the only one having this problem. I had to call customer service and they sent me a new phone.

Did you recently install any new apps? I had that problem at one time, and realized that it was the app that i downloaded that caused my text messages not to work. the app that casued the error for me was True Caller. Once i uninstalled the app and soft reseted my phone, the text messages worked perfectly again.

Has anyone had an issue with not being able to receive picture messages? my sister sent me several pictures a few weeks ago, and my sister got them on her phone in minutes, when it took 4-5 days for my phone to get it, and by that time, it said they were "expired."
I just had someone else try sending me 2 picture messages, and a half hour later, nothing. I'm running a Touch Pro 2 on T-Mobile GSM with Energy ROM. Was anyone able to fix issues like this?
When I try sending a pic my friend keeps receiving blank messages. I have to try like 3-6 times before it finally goes through. Any help?

Have you tried sending a pic to anyone else? It may be your friends phone or network.
Have you tried sending the picture with some text as well. Sometimes that will get the photos though for whatever reason.
I've had similar problem where if I have over 1000 TM's on my phone, all MMS texts won't send or be received. I had to go each person I had texted with and deleted the entire thread with them. Once you get your overall text count back down, restart your phone and see if thY helped.

I have been using google messenger for a couple of hours and i like how fast and simple it is. One problem im noticing is some texts take forever to send when someone sends me a MMS. For instance my friend is also on verizon using a note 4 and using google messenger. He sends me a mms pic and it says downloading for about 5 minutes now and any texts i send to him or other people it will stay stuck on "sending"
Do they have a problem with MMS? No way its supposed to take this long, do i have to freeze the stock messenger?

yupp had the same issue then switched to samsung messeges all working fine.
I did use it b4 it was in playstore but looks like its not fixed yet.. thanks for the info!
When using Samsung messaging are you seeing this text shuttering (lag) while using? I have the paid handcent and have not tried the Samsung messaging.

So it's December 15 and this is still an issue with the application. Not quite sure it hangs when it receives an MMS. If you don't auto retrieve MMS messages though it doesn't lag out like this.
