Has anyone had an issue with not being able to receive picture messages? my sister sent me several pictures a few weeks ago, and my sister got them on her phone in minutes, when it took 4-5 days for my phone to get it, and by that time, it said they were "expired."
I just had someone else try sending me 2 picture messages, and a half hour later, nothing. I'm running a Touch Pro 2 on T-Mobile GSM with Energy ROM. Was anyone able to fix issues like this?

I am having a problem where I am unable to receive picture messages. This started about a week or so ago out of the blue. I have called Sprint twice and spoken to tech support, but they have walked me through all the obvious things to try and are telling me everything looks fine on their end.
I can send pics no problem and have no issues with regular texts - my only issue is with having pictures sent to me.
I tried nandroid restoring my phone to a point from 2 weeks ago as well as a restore point from over a month ago. In both instances I was still unable to receive pics.
Does anyone know anything else I can try?
I the last month or so my MMS has not been working properly. I can send messages just fine but I don't receive all of them. I will be sitting next to a friend and watch them send me a text and I will never receive it. It isn't every single text but enough to make it a hassle. It has been happening for the past month or so, which coincidentally is when I started using Sense 3.0 roms. I have no idea if this is what caused it, I have tried different sense 3.0 roms and the problem has yet to be fixed. I also have problems sometimes where when my phone turns off, whether I restart it or if it dies, when I turn it back on i send random old texts to random people.
Any insights on either of these two problems would be greatly appreciated.
So when I woke up today, my phone decided it no longer wanted to send or receive text messages. I contacted sprint, reset data, updated my profile and prl, did a factory reset on the phone and nothing worked. I had a similar issue last night but fixed it by going into airplane mode and then turning it off. Now I have to get it replaced.
Any one else have this issue?
My phone is completely stock btw
UPDATE: My phone just randomly fixed itself lol Just received around 30 texts all at once.
Mine is currently doing this. I did a battery pull and it didn't affect it. I haven't contacted Sprint yet, but maybe I'll have to if it doesn't get rectified soon.
My wife and I both experienced something similar with our EVO (except we were able to send messages at least) and had to delete the SMS database to fix it.
Good morning everyone and Happy New Year!
Does anyone have issue with Text Message being slow? I'm using the stock Message App come with AT&T. It always take about at least 3 or 4 second to complete the sending (i.e. the spinning circle on every text). No matter how short or long the text is. Especially, group text is very slow. I think it's not the Network issue because I had Note 3 before and never have the issue.
Might do you some good to reprogram your phone. I do not know the number you dial for reprogramming though... Call AT&T or visit a local store.
I don't have issues with slow text messages myself. I have issues with my phone just randomly not getting them until I reboot. Any text messages sent between the time it stopped getting them and I reboot are lost. Not sure what causes it to happen. Happened a few times within a month then went months without happening and then just recently happened again...
I have a weird problem with my phone. Sometimes my text messages will be received only if I send out a text of my own or make a call.
Emphasis on the sometimes because its so random I haven't seen a pattern. When I first got the phone I had it with Wind mobile. The terrible reception made me switch to Bell about 2 months ago. This issue has significantly dropped since then but just in the past hour it's happened twice.
A friend sent me a text at 8:25 PM. I called him at 8:33 and then his 3 texts came through. We were having the convo up until 8:39 when it seemed as though he stopped replying. At 9:37 I sent one out to a different person and his text messages finally came through (Time stamp sent was 8:40 time stamp received was 9:37). Its not even an issue of reception because the texts and calls that trigger the "missing" texts send flawlessly.
Maybe it's the text messaging app I use? I use Textra but haven't tried with the stock in a while.
It's such an annoying problem. Any help would be appreciated.
