I rooted my ROM today with Unrevoke 3, and loaded the following Rom and Radio:
Official_FroYo_Market_fixed.zip
and the radio:
32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20.zip
both taken from this board and resulting in:

Now I cannot login to the Market and internet access seems to be randomly very slow or fails. I get the message when trying to sign into the Market with my pre-existing account that I do not have a reliable data connection.
This is a concern as I can read BBC News Pages on the Internet quick as a flash.
Access to Google and executing searches at Google.co.uk seems to fail.
Has anyone else experienced this? Can anyone help?

Okay about a week or so ago, Australian Optus (aka Singtel) customers FINALLY received an OTA update to Android 1.6. Woohoo!!
Problem being, this build is DRD20, and refuses all attempts to downgrade (tried the us and uk builds suggested in every 1.6 root guide, and it gives the typical "00028002 Not allow" error.
Back on the rainbow screen, it gives the following details:
DREA110 PVT 32B

If anybody has had any luck in downgrading this build or rooting as is, can you please let me know what dark and mysterious gods you prayed to?
Also up for recommendations of a new rom to try out.
The Australian phones are rooted differently, have you tried using this method?

Anyone experiencing webpages on 4g loading halfway and then just stopping? I have to refresh 3 or 4 times. My connection says good or great. Sometimes with all 3 bars filled.

This is my first post and before I start I would like to say thank you in advance for any help I may get, I do not take it for granted and I am very grateful.
I bought a Clearance Desire from mobiles.co.uk which is supposed to be unlocked and unbranded, when I try an OTA update to try and get froyo I get the message that the phone is up to date. Current Firmware etc is:

Kernel Version: 2.6.29.0cb9f166
Build number: 1.21.405.2 CL174215 release keys
Software Number: 1.21.405.2
I have been trying for 2 weeks with no success.
This is my first phone of this type I normally make do with my sons old phone.

Thank you, followed the instructions and it updated just fine. Does anyone know why the OTA update cannot be located on some phones? Is it just this update or will I always have to manually update?

It's not a issue of the device, but rather that you are trying to update a little late to 2.2, although other users had the same problem when the OTA was just released.
In other words, you will most likely get further OTA updates the easy way .

Step 1 through 5.1 and every thing seems to worK fine exepet from 3G when I get in 3G i just loose connection. I am in Norway but have also tested this in Denmark.
The only similar cases I have read about is in US and Brazil but the fix for that should not apply in this case - or...?

Hello I had bad experience in flashing random ROMs so now I need your help. Months ago I wanted official ROM and flashed without nowing what and brick my phone, motherboard changed so ...
Now I used the software called seveneighter that update to 7.8 using cabs, but I stuck on as you see 8783 in my About version, now when I try to update using zune it shows error 80180048 that's why I need the stock official ROM for my phone and start the updates all over again, please give me which is the right ROM for my phone I want to stock official. If you can tell me how to resolve this error I will be grateful too if I am able then to install 7.8 using zune, I have developer account so I can install xaps if that is needed.
