Any program to change my voice during a call? - Desire General

So that. I'm looking for a program to change my voice in live, during a call.
Is there any??
Thanks!!!

Hi, this is a nice idea
Anyone know?
But I doubt Android allows app to intercept incoming call (hijacking) for security concern.
I might be wrong though ...

Not exactly what you were looking for but Spoofcard does voice changing, as well as spoofing caller ID and recording. They have the SpoofApp in the market. It's a paid service.
spoofcard.com

Thanks!!
Any other idea?

As an amateur terrorist/outlaw i find this a much needed feature which will easy my day to day work...

Somehow I think an app that masks your voice probably wouldn't go down too well with Google haha

i'm sure i've seen apps that record your calls, maybe someone with a decent coding knowledge can use the api for this to alter your voice

micdroid? padding padding padding

I do not think that Google will authorize an application that in most cases will be used to:
1 .- Ask form ransoms in kidnappings.
2 .- Make jokes to the policeemergency numbers
3 .- Make bomb threats by geek terrorists.

thatd be cool if this existed lol

New Korean firmware on the way with some interesting additions.
Samsung has released a new update for South Korean Galaxy S (SHW-M110S) owners. The update DH09 is not a Froyo update but it does bring worthy additions to the handset. Few visible features are the inclusion of Swype keyboard, ability to record conversations and an app to detects the slope of the magnetic field sensor. Other than that, the DH09 features RAM management, includes a 3G data widget, downloadable fonts and improves on many other fronts like Allshare, Google Maps software, call quality etc. The update is available via Kies.

Wait, record conversations you say? Phone conversations?! That's AWESOME if it works properly! I've been looking for a call recorder for quite some time now but never found a working one since Google provides no APIs for it apparently. This is GREAT news for me if its true!!!

It is also legal in many countries. Why should they be denied the feature simply because it is illegal elsewhere? I find that argument absolutely rubbish. I was able to record my calls perfectly on my Symbian phone 3 years ago. You can do it fine in WM as well if I'm not wrong. It's the lack of VERY basic features like call recording and proper sms delivery report support that I find extremely disappointing and frustrating about the whole Android platform.

Yes, you can do it with Windows Mobile.
There are several applications if your phone supports it.
new voice conversation record button replaces one of big green buttons that show up while calling and all recorded voices are stored in internal sd card within a folder name "sound".
YES it is true!
If someone wants to tinker with the Apps from DH09 release, send me pm.

[Q] Call Recoder

I was wondering if anyone knew of a, preferably free, call recorder for android, that doesnt beep every * minutes etc, and can store files with call name and date etc, and it records both sides of the conversation. Does anyone know of something like this?
bump still looking for one
Me too
Had onkologs ROM on my Touch HD that had one built in and I miss it.
TL;DR Bump
I try all call recorder but unfortunately it on records what eve i say can't able to record both sides so i like to know is DHD is hardware capable to record both sides or not please any one answer.
Thanks
I'd say any phone is capable of recording both sides if you can install the program.
Just need to find a decent one.
please xda ,its time to develope in call recorder for dhd?
i hope u will try to build a new one for android like hd2.
thanks in advance
Don't waste your time. This won't work. You can only achieve recording from speakerphone.
I have been looking into this since WM6.0 with TyTN and it has always been like that. If it is limited by hardware, whatever you do with software it won't work.
All existing applications declare the same.
Anyway, I would be willing to pay for a software that would do this because it is very important feature for me but haven't found any paid apps either.

Didn't they say same regarding Hero? But hey, it finally worked (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=806451)
That is the only software I miss since moving to DHD few weeks ago.
Hopefully there will be possibility to record calls soon.
hi again im still wait xda to do that please ?
yes i can promise to donate 50 $ via western union way ,to whom will find a way to record both sides i hope others will promis too even with small donation.
thanks in advance

[Q] Does the Galaxy Nexus have Smart Dialling?

Hi
Does the galaxy havesmart dialing?
It is one of the things i loved about my Sensation. i could start typing a few letters (numbers) and all the coressponding contacts were shown.
from what i can see from all the videos this may not be possible in stock android 4.0?
Can anyone relay my fears
Cant remeber the last i didnt have that feature even going back to my nokia e71.
I invented cyberspace. You're trespassing.
the X10i Sony doesn't have it and i'm worried the nexus doesn't
i use it a lot when using the htc dialer
No idea how to load my google contacts into emulator... if there's an easy way to do that I can try for you.
i have tried it in the emulator.
it will not work under the dialer itself.
however it will work under the search bar.
when you start to type the number under the search, it will appear all the related contacts.
You can always use a 3rd party app such as Dialer One or TouchPal Dialer (free on the market) which has the feature you desire.
Mark.

You can export your contacts from Google contacts as a csv-file. That file can be imported in the app.
Thank you
I forgot about the persistant search bar at the top

where can i get this emulator?

Android SDK
Takes about 10-15 mins to get up and running purely dependent on connection of course. But emulator takes few mins to boot and is really sluggish. Still no clue how anyone develops on that.
I made myself as a contact..dialer did not show what you asked. But unless I get full contact list in there cant say for sure. But the layout itself doesnt seem appropriate for it.
This is one of my concerns aswell, I love the smart dial feature on the HTC dialer and heavily rely on it. I don't want to have to get an alternate dialer I want a nice clean pure android experience.
It's crazy to me that people still look up names by numbers instead of names.

you can use the search bar to search for numbers. it will appear with the contact that match the numbers.
just like it has already happening in honeycomb table. just that no ones use honeycomb to make phone calls.
It's a change it might not.
I no longer have it on my device after switching over to CM7

Smart Dialling appears so backwards to me. I have internalized only a few phone numbers and that's because it'S always easier and faster to just use the contacts feature instead of "dialling".

It only works from the start of a phone number though.
So if you know the number ends in 5423, if you try searching for that it won't match it.
HTC's dialer will match anywhere in the number.
Balls, much faster to start typing a name on the keypad and results are refined as you go. Every phone for the last 15 years had t9 dialling. So stupid Apple dropped it and Google following along.

Useful app... offline voicecommands

Hi,
I think there is a very useful app needed in all smartphone...and specially in the fantastic galaxy s2: the offline voicecommands.
People, like me, that have not the possibility to get always connected to the net, need the offline voicecommands like the mororola smartphones. We just need a porting of that app as the vivaldi 4season team did, but working for all the roms and in particular that app have to work...
Who is the dev that can do this for the "disconnected" community? He will help the people that need to call someone whilst is driving a car... No accidents trying to do a call whilst driving car, no money spent in a special contract to be always connected.
We need a hero!

Dont we have that already with the Built in Samsung Voice actions powered by Vlingo which also has a drive/car mode
Vlimgo requires Internet and to be honest is not greatest when dialing contacts especially if they are not typical English names.
Just do what I do as soon as I install rom, delete vlingo and put original android voicedialer.apk in system (note: not voice search) app from nexus s gingerbread or cyanogen rom. Works offline and much better for contacts recognition. Responds fine to bluetooth dial as well.

Could you post that apk please?
Here you go!
Remember put this in system/app folder with root explorer (do not install as regular apk) and remember to delete vlingo voice to go apk from there cause it will clash on bluetooth dial.
Istituto tris app multilanguage?
Is this only for dialing or sms too?
Inviato dal mio GT-I9100 usando Tapatalk
It's name is voice dialer! Ask me again if this is for dictating sms!
Or are you asking if you can start text message with this?
There's voice actions for that or vlingo or whatever but they all need to be connected to the net.
With this you can basically start any app installed on the phone with command open * (open MESSAGING or open OPERA MOBILE) or dial contacts on the PHONE or command redial.
You can not say 'send text to "contact name"'. If you want deeper than that then use online ones I mentioned.
Iono if it's multilanguage? I why don't you try it then tell us? What I do know is that I have plenty non English contacts and it dials them correctly even though it repeats them weird with English phonetics. It is able to learn as well so if it's confused between 2 contacts, manually selecting correct one, will not prompt again with same pronunciation. I have had few names that I had to gradually train like that going from English phonetics to native tongue pronunciation and now it's perfect.
I save data with titanium so don't have to train it again between flashing.

LG G3 Caller ID App

I had been using the Whitepages Caller ID app on my LG G2X and it worked beautifully. Gave me caller ID on incoming and outgoing calls and texts.
However, when I installed this app on my T-Mobile LG G3, no caller ID on phone calls, only texts. Actually there is a popup to ID calls but it's not logged in the app. The Whitepages tech support is beyond horrible. So can anyone recommend a solid Caller ID app for the G3?

I'm not your "brotha". I posted asking for a G3 forum user's experiences with Caller ID apps, that's all. I know how to use Google, as well as read Google Play reviews (which few people trust), and if it's O.K. with you I'd rather trust the good people of XDA instead.

With that said, this app supercontact has a built in caller ID feature basically once you have it installed on your phone when you get a call
you will get the location / caller ID info from that call..it doesnt work for text.
