How many ROMs with Chinese keyboard support? - Desire General

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum, but i love here.
Just wondering how many ROM here with Chinese keyboard support? I tired some ROMs here, but I found that only few of them with Chinese keyboard support. I am an user who needs English interface, but also needs both English and Chinese keyboard for typing. Please leave your comment or you have same need of the ROM.
Thanks so much.
by the way, I'm very interested on making my own ROM, could anyone provide me any related info.
Cheers.
HTC Desire in Black with ______ froyo ROM

难道说有用母语的同胞么
RT
Just typing in Chinese, sorry for other language users

I am using Defrost 2.5a, working quite well at the moment.

I've been using adam's froyo rom for weeks and the keyboard there supports both english and chinese input. Currently looking for rom based on the official release from htc and saw this in leedroid's thread - "HTC_IME supports Chinese IME as standard". So i guess you could simply flash one of the newer roms based on 2.09.
Hope it helps.

seems the official HTC WWE rom has.
But that is not a problem, you can download chinese keyboards from android market.
Google Pinyin IME, Baidu Pinyin, etc ... there are so many

I'm currently using the NexTSense 2.0a. it's nice with official chinese keyboard and pretty theme. i will upload to the 2.1b and LeeDrOiD 1.7 tonight.
I like to use the official keyboard... coz sometimes the app one is with bug.

This rom should have support for it.

Thanks Bro, Though I guessed most of the Arabic Any idea when official Froyo is coming through Kies?
nope no idea, but this is actually the official Samsung 2.2 ROM just hasn't been announced as of yet. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the exact same one that will come through Kies. Anytime "nasgilani". And by the way "dadyal" i'm happy you had time to tell us all you got the update a week ago but its a shame you were too lazy to create a post for others to also benefit a week ago.
There are people that say that JP6 is faster than JPA?
Is it true?

I tried JP6 its a European build and is not faster from my experience. It also does not have Arabic support. I9000JHJP4 and I9000JPJPA are both the Arabic supporting firmware builds however I9000JPJPA is the latest build and was created in October which is the same time the European I9000XWJP6 was created.

after using jpa for 5 days, it sucked for me (random FC, lag with OCLF). gonna move to jp6.
I have used the z4mod Kernel patcher and it runs smooth 98%. The galaxy s finally runs smooth. Just a heads up today Google inc. came out with the YouTube stand alone App in the android market(US) so needs market enabler. Worth downloading for sure

No, i'm sorry unfortunately I don't know how to go about doing that. However why not use JPA with lag fix and then you are fine. This is where to I found out about how to use the LAG fix JPA or any build.

There is a few apps in the market will let you read and write arabic sms. there is even a browser will let browse arabic websites called "Persian Browser". search for keyword "arabic"
I personally use "Mirsal" for arabic sms.

[REQ] English Translated Miui 0.11.05 ROM

I understand that an English translated version has been released for the Nexus One. With the conversion tools now available (I am not overly technically savvy), would it be possible for someone to do a quick and dirty port to the Incredible?
Thank you in advance,
Alex

there is an miui thread.... miui for dinc is released every sunday. It takes a few days to be translated and the bugs worked out before it is released. check that thread today and it will change from miui 10.29.1 to 11.5
Are u referring to translating the Rom itself or just the "conversation tools"?
If u want the whole Rom, go to nix's thread... I'm not quite sure why u wouldn't go there in the first place tho
Bye bye thread...?
I installed MIUI 0.10.29.1 last night and it was in English.

Hi people,
I don't know if I'm just lost or that Htc Desire doesn't have any Arabic support still?
My question is is there any ROM out there with full Arabic/Urdu support?
E.g,
Leedroid
Baadnewz
CM
Oxygen
I cant seem to find any ROM with Arabic apart from the ones on Arabic Sites and they aren't yet stable and have bugs.
Someone show me the way forward recommend me a ROM or how to add Arabic to any of these roms.
Your help will be very much appreciated.

Tried flashing it on Baadnewz's ROM But it gets stuck at boot screen and goes no further.... jumped back into recovery and reinstalling ROM now.
shouldn't it work on both ROM's because they are both based on DHD ports?
Thanks again
Try RCSMixHD. It should work on it + for me it has less lags than baadnwz.
