Someone was saying that it could be possible to port tethering to every release out there. I'm still using Myn's, because it's the smallest, fastest and reliable thing up to now.
If anyone knows how to make tether work on the the greatest donut ever... please do!

I am going to release a Donut barebones rom in a few days in follow up to my Cyanogen Mod 6.1 Froyo release earlier last week. This thread is in reserve for it and also to announce it and if anyone has any requests for it let them be known here. Also if this is depricated by anyone elses Donut rom please let me know.

can i have a 1.6 version of donut similar to rls04 i think its 1.6
i dont need a lot of application i just need the important apillication..
like astro rougetools i dont need the gps or gtalk just the important application
That would be the concept behind barebones. To be as light and fast as possible. That is why on my CM build I released requests with android updates as to not add bloat to my main releases.
barebones roms are nice but with donut alot of your google apps arent availible for it from the market
the new gmail is 2.2 only along with voice search being 2.1 and up i dont know about any of the others
Oh I know that but it was requested so that's what i'll make. I do want to experiment on the side with combining donut and eclair to get most of the google apps working. I would try froyo but with JIT and the other changes I think it might be to significantly different.
I would like some help finding the Rom I'm looking for. Everything needs to work, 4g ,WiFi, god, mms, EVERYTHING!! Without turning off then standing on my head in a storm and rebooting 4 times while singing show tunes. It needs to be fast and stable, sense ,also battery has to be better than stock. Does a Rom like this exist?
Any of the Sense ROMs built of the last OTA will work for you. MikFroyo, Warm 2.2 RLS5, Azrael, Sprint Lovers, Unleashed, Elite 3, EViO, etc.
For me, I like MikFroyo, Warm and EViO. MikFroyo and Myn both have TONS of add ons. EViO always gave me the best battery life. I think EViO and MikFroyo are both a little faster than Warm, but all three are extremely stable.
A lot of the other sense ROMs are built using Aamikam's base ROM as a starting point and he is the one that made MikFroyo, so any that say they use Aam's base should be good too.

Im looking for a gingersense ROM that is fast and stable and possibly hace sense 3.0 ive tried the Bekinged beta but didnt work because of the brightness prob and i was hoping someone could tell me which is the most stable and runs fast enough to not notice a problem?

Go to the Myn's Warm TwoPointTwo RLS-5 thread and join the discussion about the soon to be released Synergy rom. Many of us beta testers already have it and I can tell you that you will be impressed.

The brightness issue is dependent on which screen you have. I don't think it can be fixed until we get the official release because of the kernel.
We're comin from a pure power source.

It is Gingerbread mixed very well with Sense 2.1 and elements from 3.0. The Sense 3.0 lockscreen and weather looks and works marvelously. I'm using the rom as we speak and although the EVO 4G will start getting Gingerbread on June 3rd, if it is not made like this Synergy rom, I am not going to update or if I do, out of curiosity, I will not keep it.

What do you consider to be the fastest, most reliable SENSE ROM available for the Droid Incredible?
This includes, everything working as it should if it were delivered straight from the factory with no bugs and everything functioning properly.
I am a "Serial Flasher" and it seems that there is always something that makes me want to revert to stock so it will work again.
I don't know, maybe I'm too picky but any answers would really help. Thanks in advance.

I really liked Chingy's Incredibly Reengineered 2.4. Just loaded his new 3D version, it's really nice too. No problems at all and fast.
Virtuous is another one I've heard good things about. Skyraider was an awesome ROM, was the first ROM I ever flashed.

I wish I could say the same...but CM7 doesnt have 720p video...so in essence it isnt full featured (of course not CyanogenMod's fault) and it has a decent amount of bloat (languages,etc.) I actually preferred Deck's 2.3.4 ROM more than CM7 - less bloat.
FroYo still has the full feature set but the annoying 'out of space' issue. Magnolia was a pretty nice ROM - probably my favorite.
I would probably go with Liberation 2.0 - gingersense leak without the bloat. Everything worked - even though the battery life is okay - if you want Sense that works.
Im using WD's Inc2 port now...and its pretty snappy. Almost too snappy - probably why at some point Magnolia slowed down its transition and window speeds.
No best roms threads . What is best for you is not best for others. This can be redundant and a never ending story.

MikG is a fast, stable, and great ROM but it's 2.1+3.0
The Kinged Shooter 3.0 rom has 4G as well. Also I believe synergy / syngery-kingdom does as well.

This has all of the android ROM and kernel development. Maybe do a little searching before asking something like this (not intending to sound like a ****). Good luck and happy flashing.
I've tried MikG, and it is great.
Kinged Shooter ran, but was laggy.
And Synergy Kingdom just FC'ed Sense UI on me all the time.
I'll post back if I find something that really flys. I might just end up going back to MikG, LOL.
Kingdom Rewind is great, but it doesn't snap like I want it too.
I'm thinking of giving Synergy GodMode RLS2 a whirl.

Obviously I have clicked through and flashed my fair share of ROMs. I was just tired of flashing things left and right and having none of them really work for me.
Mik3db1 by far the most functional sense rom out that I know of. Been my daily for a month now
