Just bought one of these

This was under $4.00 shipped. I don't expect a lot, but for the price, I had to give it a try. They have them in black also.....I'll post back when I get it.

EDIT** Just got the case in and it's ok. It fits snug and looks good in white. It has a soft touch feel that is less slippery than the phone itself. For a sub $4 case....it's worth it.

If it's like the ones on eBay....put it on and leave it on lol. There's little tabs that interlock in the corners and they tend to snap off when you take it off. They look good and seem to work fine up until then. Let us know.

I just bought one of these too. It shipped but still waiting on delivery. Case looks nice and the reviews weren't terrible. Hopefully it won't scratch our devices.

I just got one of these. Best case ever. Doesnt come off when you drop the phone. Easy to get off if you need to do a battery pull. Has grip on the sides of the phone that acually work. And its 2$. No complaints. Better then any at the sprint store.

I got the $5 cheapo case from ebay (looks like the one in the OP, but black) and this thing is rock solid. I'm still waiting for Trident to come out with their case, but until then I'll keep rockin this case. I've dropped it a couple times and only once did the edge split open a little bit. It didn't damage the snap clip though. I've also taken it off several times, but I use a safe pry tool just because it's easier and still no damage to the snaps.

My case came today
For those interested, I received the case. Build quality is pretty good considering I spent about $4. The white looks nice and gives the phone some more grip (but not much). As for taking the case off and putting it back on, I wouldn't recommend doing so. I also have the TPU case in matte black but I prefer the white color.

I haven't gotten mine yet. It says it shipped but the postal code won't track.....ordered on Sunday.

Fishbone Case Question

I have read the reviews on this case for other phones but I was wondering if anyone has one on their SII. I'm mostly worried about how it works with an Invisible Shield screen protector. Many cases bubble it up.

I got one in my stocking for Christmas.
I really like it. Buttons are very easy to push..feels great in my hands and the case itself is an excellent fit.
Doesn't make my screen protector bubble up or anything.

Would you say it provides a good amount of protection, especially around the edges?

Yes a fair amount...it covers up the edges nicely... will your phone survive a 15ft fall? Probably not..but a normal out of pocket or off lap it will do just fine.
My only complaint so far is it is a lint magnet... haha
But looks stellar with my theme too
I'm happy with it overall.

Ive had my white one for about 3 weeks now and have dropped mine a couple of times from about bathroom sink high i dont have nary a scratch on it! Only thing i would say is get a much better Screen protector for it other than the one that comes with the case. Now All it needs now is replacement shells without having to purchase a hole new case so you can change colors!

To the owners of this case:
What is the quality of the rubber? Is it a cheap flimsy feeling or a harder solid rubber?
Does anyone notice their phone getting unusually warm with this case on when in use?

I got a blue one , i personally love this case i mean for 9 bucks i dont think you can go wrong, the rubber isnt the best grade but thats why i got rid of my D30 case because it was to hard and pushing the buttons was a pain in the ass. I think for price you cant go wrong here....and i havent noticed my phone getting warm with normal use

I have this case and what I have noticed is that it causes your phone to echo. When my friends call me, they always complain that they can hear themselves talking. The echo disappears when I take off the case.

Odd, never had this issue myself - I have 3 of these cases. 1 for me, 2 for the G-friend, they work great - the inner rubber is flimsy but the plastic part firms it up enough. Its a daily driver, just dont expect otter box or trident grade here.
I retired my Fishbone for the Seidio I got for Christmas

I have one and love it. Fits great, really seems to protect it well. WELL worth the money.

Got mine today & while I like it, it seems to suffer from the same flimsy sides-syndrome as the Incipio case. Also, I ordered the purple one but apparently their interpretation of purple is hot pink. I HATE pink. This happens way too often, I'm just gonna start ordering blue from now on >:[

If you actually got the wrong color, contact them. I ordered white and got black, and they refunded like half of money.

I've got this one. I like it. The rubber is really "squishy" which makes buttons easy to push (unlike previous cases I've gotten), while the fishbone keeps the shock absorbing rubber in place and then provides good physical protection. Then there is the aspect of how cool it looks.

I got mine two days ago and the next day I ordered a Trident Aegis case. The Fishbone looks cool, no doubt about it. It's also hard to go wrong with a case that you can buy for $3.90 on Amazon. However, the silicone is loose on the sides and I'm disappointed that because the plastic shell doesn't wrap around the sides except for the corners, the middle of the plastic is not securely attached. When I talk on the phone it pulls very easily. I'll keep it as a backup, but I don't want to use it as a daily.

I had a Fishbone Case for my Epic 4g and my Evo 4g. Loved them both. I was always sad there wasn't one for the NS but now I have one for my SGS2 and just as great. I love them because they are freaking cheap (paid $5 shipped from amazon) and they look fantastic. I've never had a problem with protection either since they are soft gel it basically absorbs drops (not huge ones, obviously) very well. Also, given that I have full ghost armor on the phone it still fits perfectly where as my d30 didn't.

So I took Telekinetic's advice & contacted the seller, and they're replacing the pink fishbone with this case. It's not a fishbone, but it looks awesome & the design promises to solve the floppy sides problem.

They make similar cases for other versions of SG2 and they have belt clip
as well for them . Except for this one. I was wondering if maybe we can use belt clip from the other and case from this one.

I bought one a couple weeks ago, so far I'm liking it. It's a dust magnet, like all these rubberized cases are, but the fit is VERY snug. If you don't mind the extra bulk, it's really a damn solid case. (And for the price you can't beat it.)

That seller has some nice looking cases.

Got mine today. I really like it, but it adds A LOT of bulk.

i recieved mine today. first off they were out of stock of the black ones he just forgot to unlist it, but he was real understanding and sent me another color. shipping was quick. the plastic part seems pretty cheaply made, but it fits perfect, snaps together fine, pretty comfy case. all in all i give it 7 outta 10.

I bought one of these too & just got it today. It's a very solid case & adds quite a bit of bulk to the phone, so people who like a minimalistic look probably won't like it. The plastic shell feels kinda cheap and the power button isn't as prominent as my ballistic case, but overall I really like it. I got the purple & black one, and the purple is a nice dark shade, NOT pink, hooray!

Elago Breath Cases GS3 White & Blue pictured on white GS3

I purchased the white one for myself and the blue one for my girlfriend. The cases are very thin and sleek. They feel great in the hand and do not add extra bulk to the phone. The top and bottom of the case is open so you wont get overall protection there, so be careful when handling it and not dropping it. There is a slight lip, but I don't think that it will keep the phone raised up enough off a surface if you lay the phone flat on the screen side. I would definitely recommend putting a screen protector on to be combined with this case. I had already purchased a screen protector the day I picked up the phone from the store, however Elago actually sells the case together with a screen protector from amazon as well. The prices for the two combined are $24.99, and the screen protectors from Elago are $8.99 alone. There are cut outs on the sides for the power button and the volume rocker. I feel that the cut outs aren't recessed enough, and your made aware of it however it does not bother me too much. Overall I am very happy with the cases especially for the price. I would definitely buy from Elago again, and I do like the variety of colors that they offer the cases in. I like the Breathe style because they are different than all of these other snap on thin cases and make the phone stand out more. I took some pics from various angles with both cases on the phone and off the phone with my dslr so you guys can take a look for yourselves.

nice review. how well does the phone stay in the case though? i've been hesitant with snap on cases because i'm afraid the phone will come out of it.

are they grippy or are they still really smooth? I am planning on getting a case only because the phone is so smooth i know i'm going to drop it eventually.

Thanks! The phone is snug within the case. It hasn't come out of the phone. It fell earlier today, and the case popped off but i've had that happen with other cases though. When it fell, there was not damage to the phone. THANK GOD! LOL.

It is smooth but I feel like the perforated holes add grip while your hands are holding it. I used it all day yesterday and today so far and haven't slip because of it being too smooth.

I was hoping that the official vent case for the GS3 looked like the official case for the GS2 but they screwed the look up pretty badly. This one looks good but it needs that flashy silver plaque. Haha.
Although I felt the same way about the actual phone itself but the GS3 grew on me and is now the best looking phone ever. Maybe that official vent case will grow on me as well.

Actually it doesn't. I lay mines everywhere whole I'm at work and cat home and I haven't gotten anything in the holes yet. Plus the white hasn't gotten dirty yet neither. Very impressed with the case so far. I would definitely buy more from them.

By the way for those of you worried that the case is slippery there's a soft feel version they sell as well that doesn't have the glossy back and has more a rubbery feel like a tpu case.

HHI Clear flexible TPU case for $.99

So, I went on a limb and ordered this:

I would say I hope I don't regret it, but it was $.99 + about $3 for shipping. It hasn't shipped yet, but they provided a tracking number last night.
It's clear, has a cutout for the power button it appears, and I hope it works well. Just worried about it stretching out like the silicone on my current phone did. I'm not that familiar with TPU, so hoping that's not an issue.
Edit: I just got this case. It shipped in about 5 days by ups. It very thin but also makes me unsure if it'll absorb any impact at all. The first thing I noticed I think back is frosted, not completely clear. It's also not curved, but flat all around. I'm curious how well this will fit. The frosted back has a subtle texture to I as well, make it comfortable to hold and not slippery. The power button and all ports are exposed, only the volume buttons are covered and they feel stiff.

The TPU case on my Galaxy S Captivate is still fine after almost 3 years. No stretching whatsoever. I don't take it on/off often though, so that may shorten the life. It is certainly not like the silicone I have seen on other cases (specifically a GS3 Defender case that a friend has) which is very loose and has already been replaced once or even twice.

This is encouraging. Could be a dollar well spent.

It's definitely not a bad purchase for $1. The only thing you need to be aware of with TPU cases like that is they retain heat, which can be really crappy if you're doing some hardcore gaming or have the phone sitting on your dash. As far as protection goes, my requirement is that the case has a lip that comes out a bit from the face of the phone. That way if I drop it face down my screen (hopefully) won't get scratched.

Does anyone know if AT&T stores have any HTC One cases / screen protectors yet.

Agree completely...nothing else interests me.

This case came today, but I won't have time for a day or more to show it off or describe it.
But I did want to let everyone know I isn't completely clear. The back I will frosted clear. This is misleading from their page. We'll see how I looks when I get the phone.

I haven't been using this case much because I preferred my Speck clear case - well, the rubber/silicone trim around the volume buttons and usb port are streatching badly... so I put this $1 tpu case on instead finally. Dropped my phone on the asphalt last night from just below my shoulders. Phone landed on a corner and did a few flips. No damage what-so-ever. Not even a dent on a corner. Also have a Rhino Shield MK II on too, so if there would have been any screen damage, the shield did it's job well too.
