I'm quite new to the forum and this is my first post.....
So plz dont be too hard on me if i do anything wrong.
Too the point then,
I'm looking for a rom with a nld version of wm 6.5.x (pref 6.5.5)
I dont know if anyone can cook one for me.
I need it with a titanium and atleast some usfull apps like the screen auto rotation thingy (dunno the name), a changeble background and the standard stuff like office mobile and youtube.
Hope somebody can help,

If i install onto my exec Helmi WM6 v.1.1
will i still HAVE all of o2s random tripe like the tinterweb settings and such like... im just a lil worried that it wont work and ill have a nice expensive brick and i really dont like the thought of that

There's nothing stopping you from flashing any ROM you like onto your device, and putting the O2 GPRS/MMS settings onto it.
There are enough links on the site with the O2 settings cab file if you search.
You will not be getting the O2 Active either, but again, this is something you can search for yourself and add to it.
I suggest you read the wiki http://wiki.xda-developers.com/ and this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=269118 (which really should be a sticky hint hint mods) before you do anything, as it sounds like you need to understand the difference between a ROM, and an Extended ROM.

one little ammendmant tho the phone keypad is well not there,, the buttons all work and it makes calls but i would like to be able to see things on the screen,, no biggie tho but if anyone can help let me kno

I dont flame people because I know im a noob myself but I you might want to go and "develop" some flame retardant clothing or hope they close the thread.
In regards to your question, lets just put it this way, it is something that has been discussed and revisited again and again and again and again and again and well, you get the point. Anyway it has not been accomplished by the resident geniuses so it looks a bit hopeless. They have done button flo though but this gets old pretty fast.

As I said so many times, I will include TouchFlo in my ROMs when it will be fully functionnal. But I will make additionnal CABs for my ROMs with "ButtonFlo" for thoses who would like a "Touch Like" Hermes.
FYI I will release a beta of my new ROMs in few minutes.

Hi everyone, I've been looking for hrs but cant seem to find it? The situation is this: I have got a backup made with SPB of the following rom 2.03.401.2 WWE 12/23/08 radio 1.09.25.23 protocol 52.51.25.26U. This is the original rom and I installed all the stuff I need and made a backup, the problem is that the space afterwards is like 15mb storage which is very little as you may know, still got 40 odd program which is okish. I just wondered if any of the chefs made a light version of this that i'm missing?? By light I mean without the stuff that really does not work like updates, error reportin, customer feedback, radio, getting started, adobe and so on...I need things like streaming player and youtube and opera and a few more. Just to give you an idea... If I had a little more time to spare I would learn how to cook them but at the moment time is scarce with the little one and work and all that. Can anyone point me in the right direction, I need something stable though and fast. Many thanks to all in advance and to xda dev!

i'm so proud for receiving this post from you, because i've never receive any answer from this forum and i was thinking no one mind about gsmart users.. but i know we have a minor brand and so there are not so many "gsmarters". I think the only way is to ask to the other boys with gsmart to lift their voices only with a post in this (or other) thread and then i think we could do something good.

Yep, me too have a gsmart winmo phone - a MW700 and i'd love to put windows mobile 6.5 on it.
It's very hit and miss on this forum as to whether anyone will even bother to reply to you. I guess people are busy with other things on other phones.
I think we need a developer who buy a gsmart.. i tried to cook my own ms800 rom using the instructions on mybestpda but i had many problems. I so hope someone better than me can work on gsmart roms. I think i've lost time enought, so i prefer to wait.. bye bye

It's really from mybestpda i've start my adventure on cooking a rom for ms800.. because it's really a good site, but there is no roms for ms800.
There is a thread on cooking roms and i tried loosing so much time...
There is another site www.gigabyteclub.ru that is really good and is in Russian,but there there are only russian roms and i don't understand how to use the kitchen (in russian), google translator it's not enought for me....
Gsmart Problem
Hello guys, i have big problem, i try to flash my Gsmart MS800 with modified rom and now i can't start the phone, only see light display. Sombody know the key combination for bootloader menu? I want to reinstal the original one.
Hope smb will help me, otherwise i have to throw ot of the window this phone

i had a problem like you some months ago, and the main board of the phone was burned.. i hope it is not the same for you, mine was an original rom so i could use warranty.

i live in Indonesia....
waiting for WM6.5
asus has said that it will not develop wm6.5 for asus m930
and by the looks of it there wont be a wm6.5 rom for the phone except the one @ the 4pda russian forum, (i cant post the link here =/)
since the forum is in Russian its hard to contact the rom developer to ask about future development of wm6.5 for asus m930
the reason im not using the rom is you cant change the sliding panel (add new panels) and the only editable panel is the " setting " panel
the rom has no office mobile, wmp was removed but visually the rom is stunning
ohh well, were even lucky that theres someone even cooking a rom for the m930
im now looking forward to buy a htc s740 (but the s740 is also missing a wm6.5 rom but from what ive read in the s740 forum it is under development =D) which is similar to the m930 design wise, and has a more powerful processor than the asus, but for now the m930 will do for me =)
