problem with market? - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm not exactly sure if this is a problem but recently my Android market the 3rd icon changed from downloads into a Sprint icon and shows Sprint suggested apps, can anyone tell me why it did that? Or if there is a way to change it back? I searched.and don't.seem to find much about this thanks!

Bump, anyone?

New market not showing all images.

This problem had been bugging me for a while and im just interested if anyone else is having the same problem.
When checking out apps on the new market i can only view images 1,3,5 and since on. If there is only 2 preview images i can only view preview one.
This never happened on the old market place. Its only since the new market appeared.
Is there anyone else having this problem.

That's why IMO its better to roll back to the previous version.
Settings->market->uninstall updates
The "freeze" the market updater with Titanium Backup, and you can stay on the old market for as long as you want...

[Q] device not compatible with certain apps in market [SOLVED]

I've seen that certain apps in the market say that my device is not compatible with the app. I didn't really think twice about it until today I saw that Google maps is one of those apps. This wasn't the case earlier today.
Has anyone else been having this problem?
What do you think the problem is?

Solved - Reason for issue was due to my changing the DPI for enhanced resolution
I'd like some sort of answer to that too, my phone says that maps is compatible, but Youtube isn't. I tried clearing market data and cache on the off chance that something was goofy there, but it didn't help. It even says "incompatible" when I go to the web version of the market from my computer, and won't let me install.

K, i figured out the problem. Its because i changed the DPI in my build.prop in order to get a better resolution. I guess the apps are compatible with the resolution that i set it to, so it just says that its not compatible with my device.

Need help please

I know this has been posted before, but I wasn't able to find an answer. There is an app that can tell what apps I have downloaded that are automatically downloading apps. Does anyone know what the apps name is? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, give these Apps a go:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appspot.swisscodemonkeys.detector
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.denper.addonsdetector
Don't worry too much, it's just Airpush Advertisements, which are more annoying then harmful.
The above Applications are my recommendations, and work very well.
Cheers.

How do I get rid of "com.jb.gosms.weber.advanced finn"

So I downloaded GoSMSpro on my note 2. Once I opened the app I got "com.jb.gosms.weber.advanced finn" in the notification bar. I'm sure that I'm overlooking something extremely simple, but it just has me dumbfounded. I've searched with no success, so I thought that I would turn here and see if anyone else has ran in to this. I was running GoSms on my Evo LTE with no problems. Please help!
Look into appp settings.
Otherwise go to app manager in settings and click on the app you downloaded .
Scroll down and select disable notifications
