Bluetooth & WiFi Problem

Ok this seems to happen intermittently so any help would be great.
Randomly when I try to update my weather or try to get on the net with my phone at home thats connected to my Wireless router it is connected to the router but wont connect to any pages, but yet, it I turn off my bluetooth headset, mysteriously it comes back, and once it connects, I can turn the bluetooth back on and everything is back to normal. Anyone ever hear of this or have this happen to them? But I noticed that with the weather tab it still wont connect unless I open internet explorer or opera to connect to the net and then close it, then I can update the weather.
Any help would be great, cause its driving me nuts.

[Q] HTC EVO 4G WiFi locks up since FreshEvo 4.1.1.0

I have an HTC EVO 4G running FreshEvo 4.1.1.0
The WiFi was working fine without a hitch until recently. It seems that since I upgraded to FreshEvo 4.1.1.0 and updated the radios with the patch, that this is when the problem started.
Now, the WiFi connection "locks up" intermittently and I have to reboot my TrendNet TEW-633GR router so that the phone will connect to it again at least for awhile.
The symptoms are: The WiFi connection with my home router will be fine for awhile. Then, it will not work.
I still get an IP address from the router and the WiFi settings says it's connected. But the connection doesn't work until I reboot the router. But the router isn't really the problem because other phones and my laptop can connect to the router even if the HTC cannot.
To the best as I can tell, the WiFi connection on the HTC locks up when:
A) I run the Roku Remote Control app and something unexpected happens like the app does a force close. The Roku Remote app uses Telnet, I believe.
B) I'm connected by WiFi at home, then leave and the phone switches to 3G. When I come back home, the WiFi between my phone and my router is locked up. However, if I connect to WiFi at another location, it works fine at the other location. Also, I can still connect to my home router with WiFi from my laptop or another phone.
Does anyone have this problem too, or a solution?
Thanks

I would have a go at flashing an alternative radio ROM onto the EVO first. This should be pretty simple if you've already changed ROMs and have a custom recovery.

Losing connectivity when leaving a local wireless network

I've found that occasionally my Inc2 will lose 3G connectivity when I leave the wireless network at my house. The only way to get it working again is a reboot. Any ideas on why this happens and, more importantly, how to fix it?
I haven't had this problem. I use wifi while at home and often leave it without doing anything other than starting up my media player to play some tunes.

Weirdness when using wifi hotspot tethering

Hi all I'm hoping you can help me.
I have the R800a model of the Xperia Play, running 2.3.4, stock standard and not rooted.
I'm experiencing some very strange behaviour when I turn on wifi hotspot tethering on my phone. When I do, it seems some 3G functionality in the phone is lost. I can still browse the web in Dolphin Browser, but TuneIn radio stops working completely, saying there is no connection. As soon as I turn wifi hotspot off, it picks up the connection again, but if I turn it back on...bang, drops out.
For the record, devices connected to the hotspot, such as my Nexus 7, can access all online functions, including TuneIn radio. It's only the phone itself that seems to lose this functionality.
It seems unlikely there is a bug in TuneIn radio, because I've had a friend verify that it works on his HTC phone when wifi hotspot is on. I haven't verified if it's happening within any other apps but it does look like the inbuilt wifi hotspot functions in this phone are blocking some 3G connectivity while active.
This one is stumping me. It's quite annoying me because I enjoy listening to the radio on the train, but I can't do it on my phone if I'm browsing the web on my Nexus 7.
Does anyone have any clue about what's going on here?
So I've found it's not just wifi hospot tethering, but tethering in general, as USB tethering does the same thing.
So I've gotten around this by setting up Bluetooth tethering instead, which took a bit of fiddling but seems to work much better.
I have a feeling Telstra's software was probably blocking some functionality while tethering via USB or WiFi.

[Q] Streaming via Mobile Network?

I have an rooted ATT LG-E980. I can stream from my vulkano when connected via the local wifi or when connected to a remote wifi but when trying to stream without wifi but using 4G, then android app starts up says connecting, shows streaming speed then displays this error message: "Unable to play stream. Please try again."
I know it is not a ports / forwarding issue, as it works from remote networks. It is an issue with some settings in the phone or some way to get around this? Any ideas?
THanks
EDIT: Installed exact same app on Galaxy S3 on ATT network and it streams ok via the Mobile Network, so may be some problem with the LG's video hardware or software. Is anybody else able to stream (using vulkano or slingbox) with the LG Optimus Pro ?
Thanks
Really, no one else here has a slingbox or live broadcast streamer ?
This screen (but not so much the sound) was made for this.
