Aftermarket Battery

So I bought this and so far it seems to work just as well as the oem battery so i thought i would share. You get 2 batteries, battery charger, microusb.

For Samsung OEM batteries this is cheap... I mean this is a good price for one battery alone.
Bought one.

I assume you already had this delivered... Can you post pictures?... How long did it take for delivery? Any complains?

Ordered me one. I figure if I lose 13 dollars I'll be able to live with myself.

For $13 I expect the chargers, etc to be big POS but are the batteries themselves good quality? I still ordered one based on the fact from the pictures it appears they are legit Samsung OEM batteries.

That's exactly what I'd like to have... I wonder if this dude would cancel the above mentioned one.

To be honest it almost looks like they were built on the same assembly line without the samsung sticker. as far as long term use only time will tell but for now they seem to work just as well as the OEM

Just ordered the item from OP. Will let you know how it was when it arrives.

I got mine and tested everything out. Everything works, except the spare batteries seem to last about 10% less than the Samsung battery. For some reason they included a strap (not pictured) that our phones have no space for as a bonus gift. Overall, a very good deal.

[Q] Where to find authentic Samsung Battery / Charger

I am wondering if anyone knows where to buy authentic samsung accessories. I have gotten 3 batteries off ebay and they did not live up o expectations and measured only 1000 - 1200 mAh.
To be safe this time, I'd like to purchase the official accessory with the weird dock / stand thing. Does anyone know which other online store might have it for cheap? I have checked on Amazon, but the only stores that list it are 3rd party ones such as accessory one, and they have pretty bad reviews.

FYI, pics of the battery I got off ebay and why they suck. First the "Official" G7 batteries all had the same serial (go figure). Then 2 of them were wrapped around another black wrapper. 2 of them had a black plastic spacer to fill in space where the battery should. 1 even have cardboard cutouts to fill in more space.

Oh man, what a ripoff. I have 2 non official batteries and Im actually more impressed with those than my real battery. Holds a much longer charge. Sorry about your bad luck.

Go to samsung.com and buy the battery that comes with external charger. $50 is so worth it, i might buy that instead of 3000mah which is not guaranteed safe to our phones.

I didn't said that, i said "not guaranteed safe". So it may have a chance that it may damage our phone because of overheating or something else. But so far no one has experienced it, but still i won't take the chance.

it works perfectly and i never use a cable to charge my phone...i just switch out batteries...the batteries seem to hold an equal charge to the OEM one...and they are stylish

Just wondering about the OEM batteries listed. I was asking if any particular reseller is reputable? Since they aren't sold directly by Amazon.
Are the Laza batteries good? The charger looks a lot like the Chinese ebay ones, so I was a bit suspicious.

I certainly wouldn't believe them to be 1500mah batteries. Probably more like 700 or 800. I would look into any feedback they have on the batteries. Anything other than OEM Batteries are a gamble.

I got the same off ebay with a charger for a penny and 9.99 shipping. Took 3 weeks to get from Hong Kong. Both batteries work as well as my Samsung battery and the charger is fine with a usb port also.

I got the same also and they work well, but hey for the price I ended p getting three plus a couple of chargers. U cant catch with a dead battery now.

I bought exactly this a good while back off of amazon. The batteries are probably closer to 1200-1300mah. Regardless it was definitely money well spent for me. I now always keep a spare battery in my pocket and no longer have to worry about charging in the car or at work.

That looks like a good deal. I'll have to keep a look out if I need spare batteries (I have 2 extra already though).

So I have been looking around on eBay and Amazon for a spare battery and dock charger for it. I ran into this one which will be linked, but I don't know the brand or if anyone has any experience with this. I know they have the OEM ones, but those go for well over $35. I am on a tight budget as almost everyone and just looking for alternatives to save a few bucks, or should I just get the OEM or a different brand. I would appreciate any feedback and Thanks in advance.

I have the OEM charger and its awesome. Comes with a battery too. Don't know about the one in the link. Battery may not have NFC capabilities either ....just my 2 cents. I got mine shipped from Amazon for like $35.00. Its well worth it if you ask me. Good luck.

Just check ebay for "OEM T989 Battery" I got mine with NFC for like $26 and a cheap chinese wall charger for like $3.

Seems the video you linked does not charge both at the same time? I would like a dock that does..
i would refer that as a stand and battery charger...fwiw

You're correct. I'm wrong, but a spare battery and nice charger for it isn't all that bad, though all of sudden I'm seeing it for much less on the web, mid-high 30s.

especially nice since all the compact wall chargers that hold a battery i have tried only charge to about 88%... bummer

A battery is only $25, so with this dual charger and a battery it's the same price as the Samsung that doesn't dual charge...

I know... it just seemed like an important detail to note.

Wish it was like the one they made for the Charge I got new at VZW for $35. It simultaneously charged the second battery and phone, came with a second standard Samsung battery, and even had audio out jack and volume controls on the front panel. .......it was also a landscape dock, portrait docks seem useless. I almost never use my phone in portrait mode for anything.
