HELP!! i think i rooted and unrooted but no more recovery? - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys so i got my phone it came with the ota update. i rooted the phone. then when i was trying out roms. i acedently said yes to the PC36img file.... and now when i try to access recovery i dont get a menu all i see is a picture of the phone and red arrows....
can anyone help me? i dont know if i need to re root cuz i still have super user inside adb :O
thanks in advance!!

just redo the part of your rooting guide where you flash a custom recovery. When you updated with the pc36img it replaced your recovery most likely...
...and hope you don't get your heart ripped out for posting this in the dev section lol

what ever you do, dont pull the battery or switch off your device, maybe you should speak to someone from alpharev on there irc channel, they will be able to tell you what to do, btw whats on your phone screen now? is it the screen with the htc logo or hboot?
There doesn't seem to be anyone in the irc?? :S and on the HTC splash screen
Thanks
ahh ive connected to irc now

I have heard from some people that this process took over an hour on their phone, but it worked. So I think, you should just let it be like it is

s-on and rooted?

hey guys.. so my dad's MT3G slide is perm rooted and running cyanogenmod 6 with clockworkmod recovery v2.5.0.7. but the weird thing is, the bootloader shows S-ON!
i forgot which root method i had used, but this is pretty weird. i can flash and do anything like my rooted MT4G, with superuser permissions.
is this normal?
here are some images of it:

Yes, s- off is a separate process. Mine is s - on but perm rooted.
Yeah that's normal. I never S-Off'd and... Well, I won't either. Haha. Rooted just fine and did everything I needed to.
Also, where are the pics? :<

Trying to revert firmware and flash new

I previously installed MaximusHD, hit bootloop and had to revert the firmware then update to the newest available. That worked and the MaxHD ROM booted right up, but sadly that OS wasn't for Verizon phones. So I am trying to install the Viper ROM and am hitting bootloop and figured I'd give that trick a shot again. The problem I am running into is now after reverting to an older firmware it shows TWO firmwares on the phone simultaneously.
Has anyone ran into this?
Thanks in advanced.
You can see the Firmware in RED in the picture...if you can't see it right click the img and open in new web page

ONEPLUS 5T Bricked, no OS installed. Phone is basicly non existent...

Hi guys,
I'm in a bit of a pickle and i have surfed the whole wide web and haven't found an answer to my questions/problem.
My dad installed Ubuntu on this phone to try it out and eventually i took it over since i needed the phone.
I made a stupid mistake by wiping the system and everything on it via the ubuntu screen and now i'm stuck with a bricked? phone.
I have no idea how to revive this phone and i'm in a great need for help.
The bootloader is unlocked and this is what i see (check images)
Anyone who knows what i'm supposed to do to get this phone to work again?
Thank you very much.

If all else fails MSM will usually rescue the phone.
Make sure to follow the guide exactly and that the PC has the drivers installed (they're linked in the guide).
I'll try the MSM tool tomorrow, ill keep you updated!
Thank you for the reaction.
