hello, i have a tmobile g2 and platronic voyager pro, which works fine with voice calls and voice commands, but i can not stream music or listen to music or talk on the skype thure my bluetooth heaset.
what gives?
Your headset isn't a2dp compatible which is needed for media to be streamed to your phone. I suggest looking at something like the backbeat 903 for that.

i thought it did, i guess time to upgrade to pro +
thank you
i use the bluetooth on my car's stereo occasionally and now have noticed that Skype won't work via bluetooth. i had never tried before(as i did not use Skype until after i rooted) so not sure if that's just how it is.
so far though, i have tried that RMK gingerbread ROM and the latest Nightly's CM7 release and both work just fine when you make normal calls via bluetooth, but with Skype it doesn't even register the bluetooth and goes through the phone.
is this a known issue?
I had an EVO LTE and regardless of current audio (FM, Sirius, I-pod) when I would listen to a voice mail through my visual VM app the audio would come out of the speakers in the car automatically. I got rid of the EVO LTE and now have a Galaxy S3 and it would never automatically play the audio out of the door speakers automatically UNLESS I had the Bluetooth audio selected... until... today (and I didn't change any settings). I know now know that it is capable but the question is... how? I am pretty savvy when it comes to tech and now I can't listen to the audio without having Bluetooth selected. So...
For those with a Samsung Galaxy S3 Phone... Will you please start up your car, listen to some music from a source BESIDES Bluetooth audio stream and see if you can listen to your message by just hitting play on your visual voice mail app?
Thanks
I bought an Alpine CDE-HD137BT headunit for its Pandora functionality. However, I learned you need to have an AVRCP 1.3 supported ROM to use the BT Pandora source versus the less functional BT Audio source. So I found Codename Android and flashed it, but that didn't completely solve my problem.
Here is the situation:
If my radio is on the BT Pandora source and I launch Pandora the radio will read "No Pandora". The only way to get it to connect to Pandora is to
1. Start Vehicle (it is in BT Pandora mode)
2. Launch Pandora App (it will start playing but no audio will come out the radio)
3. Cycle through all the options back to BT Pandora.
4. Let it connect and enjoy.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Edit: I tried to connect straight from the BT Pandora on an Incredible 2 and it worked. I'll test another ROM.

Hey, just ran across your post. Did you ever find a fix to the problem?
I have the same issue on my nexus 4. Bluetooth for automotive is checked in Pandora
Hello,
I own a bluetooth headphones that works perfect with music players, but I have problems with the FM radio. When I turn it on, it says I need a normal wired headphones to act as antenna. That is OK; I plug one, and it starts the radio, but when I make a bluetooth connection with the headset, radio says it is incompatible and can not run with bluetooth connectios.
I have also probed Spirit FM radio that says it is compatible with bluetooth, but I have not been able to get it to work.
Does anybody get it to work a bluetooth headphones with FM radio?
(I want to use FM, no stream internet radio. It eats my data plan as I listed to radio a lot).
Thanks
