Hello, i just rooted my incredible with unrevoked and got Rom Manager. Whenever i open it however, it says "SD Card Not Mounted. The SD Card needs to be mounted to use ROM Manager" What does it mean by this? I have a mac and the sd card is mounted. I have a transcend 16 gb class 6 sd card. Thank you in advance for any help anyone might be capable of offering.
Try installing and reinstalling, worked for me.

I'm trying to upgrade my wife's 8GB SD card to a 16 GB. She is rooted and running 2.2 on Fresh evo 3.3.0.1. I copied the whole card to my laptop running xp and saved toa folder. I selected all as always. Powered down the phone swapped cards and powered on to recovery running clockwork mod 2.5.0.1. I formated the card and format sd-ext. Then I mounted usb storage and pasted the files from the 8GB
card. I rebooted the phone and my voicemail icon won't mount, I couldn't find the andriod market anywhere and most of the apps had generic android icons that were not linked. HELP!!!
1st question Did I prepare the card correctly. Back in my hero days RA -heroc would partition sd and sd ext2 to ext 3. Clockworkmod doesn't do all that.
What should I doto the prepare the card corectly.
2nd Question Do i need to do a data wipe.
On my DInc, my SD card refuses to be read even though there is a card in the slot. If I boot to recovery, I can go under Mounts/Storage and Mount USB Storage to copy my ROMs etc to it from Windows Explorer.
But as soon as I boot into the Dinc, the SD card says "Preparing SD card" followed immediately by "SD Card Removed". What's the deal with this?
I've used a great number of ROMs and it simply hasn't worked in a while. I'm currently running Clutch 1.0.
Any ideas how to get my SD card working from the phone again? To reiterate, I can access the SD card if I reboot to recovery and access it under Mounts/Storage. Just not when the phone is booted up for use.
I think your best bet would be to reformat the sd card through a pc to FAT32. Make sure to copy all the sd card contents to a computer before formatting it. See if this helps.
So i have a sandisk 32gb micro sd card im using in my galaxy s3. It has been working fine until this morning when my phone started saying sd card had been removed please enter a new one, or something like that. The sd card cannot be seen in TWRP or in any file manager. In recovery i tried to wipe the external card and it just says it cant mount the external card.
I would have thought this was a problem with my phone, but I also cannot see the card when i put it in my computer. Other sd cards work fine on my computer (i dont have another micro sd to test with) but my camera's sd card worked fine. Anyone have a solution? I would be willing to format my sd card, but i cant even access it anywhere.

I hate to say it, but it would seem that your SD card went tango uniform. If another card is being seen in the S III then it is down to that.

In Win7, plug your SDcard into the card reader.
Type diskmgmt.msc into search or run.
Do you see your messed up SDcard in there?
If yes, you can format it, name it etc.
If that fails, find an app online called Gparted. (needs to burn to a CD)
This app works at boot and has fixed my most stubborn drive issues.
Hi,
I'm currently using Task's AOKP Rom and after performing a TWRP nandroid backup to my external sd card.. My external sd card started having problems. When I rebooted back to AOKP it showed an sd card error in the notifications asking me to reformat.
I've used this 32gb sd card for 4 months, installing various AOSP and TW JB roms with no problems at all. Yes, I wipe and flash everything correctly. This seemed to just happen randomly. I plugged my phone into my computer and it only shows my internal sd card available. When I go to mnt/extsdcard in file explorer, it shows no files.
Does anyone know a way to get my ext sd card working again? I'd like to get access to my files.
Thanks,
Tom
Update: it must just be my ext sd card... I plugged it into an adapter and it's not reading on my computer. My 8 gb version works fine but my 32 doesn't read at all. Any suggestions or is my sd card fried?
My device is rooted, s-off and I flashed WildChild 3.3 some days ago.
Problem is my phone suddenly doesn't see my SD card at all. Camera says "Insert SD card", Root Explorer "SD card not found", Link2SD "SD card not present". Even in CWM trying to mount SD card gives back error.
When connected to my PC with a card reader (my card reader doesn't have any switch) in MiniTool Partition Wizard, it mounts as read only. So I just see the contents of the FAT32 partition, I can't perform format. Could it be fried?
I tried another SD card on my phone and it mounted normally, whereas my SD card had exact the same problem on a Galaxy Europa (not mounting at all).
It is a Verbatim 8GB class 4 and it came with no adaptor. It worked fine until now, it also worked the first days with the new ROM (3 partitions, FAT32, ext2, linux swap). I don't have a clue how it became read-only...
Any ideas?
Most likely corrupted. Seeing that your other card works, its a high possibility that its gone corrupt.
Buy a new one or use the other.

I am going for a new micro SD card. Damn, I would prefer spending my money otherwise...
You can try Hp Formatting Tool, it worked for me everytime. It's like a handy charm. :")
