PARAM SPEED ROM
I am starting this thread to build the best ROM ever for our beloved ARTEMIS. After trying for several months, I have now surrendered to the fact that WM 6.5 is not a good fit for ARTEMIS. I think WM 6.1 is what it can bear. This ROM might not be the most bug-free one, but I am committed to make it the ONE. Herein I would also need help from other cooks to make this the best.
This is the base ROM with M2D to start with. The download link contains the ROM. Also the attached zip contains the THEME, and other installers that I recommend you to install manually.
WHY THIS ROM?
– With M2D, Phone Canvas, Easy Contact etc. you still get 32Mb RAM free. What more do we want?
- When other ROMs need to be re-started daily, you can use this for month with NO need to restart.
- Low memory consumption. Even after 7 days of regrous use, I still had 26 Mb free with phone working like a charm

- Inclue smileysms.cab in the rom
- Create a mortscript and cook inside the ROM that does the post-installation stuff. [Status - Have create the one. Hoever it fails to install the tsk and also gives UI for other installations - I want it to do that in the background]

I flashed your rom and it's fast and good but my camera won't start(neither then i run in the settings the camera driver enable/disable option).
And an another problem my x/ok button doesn't respond to clicking ( i ran the screen calibration. i noticed this problem in a different rom too) do you have any idea?

Hi Bro,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. Issues acknowledged. Camera shall be fixed in the next release soon. I am still looking for a fix for the OK/X button. The issue in presistant with many roms and there is very less that I can do about it.

I have removed that from the ROM. Please let me know if you recomend to include that. I shall than put it back in the next release.

Actually problem was solved with dedicated SIP software.
But there is another trouble. I did not found anything related to ringtone/phone config in Start -> Settings -> Personal - there was just no "Phone" option. Maybe I'm mistaking, but still, check it out...

Hi there!
The weather panel is disabled by default.
Install M2DC to customize M2D. Using this application you can enabe plugins and also many other mods can be done to M2D.

Do Not Bother xdandroid devs, with fillrate or hw3d being faster on donut than on eclair, plz they are not mages, stuff dont just magically work out of no were
Here is what iv been working on for the past couple of weeks, this was ready before but iv been holding back on releasing it because i was trying to get BT and gsensor fixed or at least attempted to. I figured i wont be able to do it or it will take some more time(if i decide to keep this up to date).Also the system img included is NOT my work it is from HTCClay, the zimage and rootfs.img is from me, what i did to get hw3d on donut was to change the hw3d driver configuration from eclair to donut,for the rootfs i edited and fixed a typo in wpa supplicant part , it was causing wifi to scan and then crash, but now its fixed. This port is not perfect expect bugs
Go ahead and try games and benchmark's this build should be pretty fast.This Rom is based on Cyanogenmod, also donut does not have fillrate bug, so 3d apps and overall system should be faster

To make shure Hw3d is working fine restart phone after first boot

Also the zimage and rootfs provided are not the latest one, i will try to update the zimage, rootfs i cant because it breaks hw3d for reasons that i dont know

I have a little trouble, which comes with the space key on the keyboard and suddenly closes my process: android.inputmethod.latin
So it is impossible to conduct a search or a message of several words.
Otherwise, almost perfect, some delays, but I use it on a Diamond 100.

witch version are you using?, anyways i will look into that, thanks for reporting it
Edit: osk is working fine here, make shure you are using latest version dated Update 2 07.23.10, and if it the phys keyboard that is also working fine
I use the latest version: 7.23.10.

im no longer going to keep updating this rom, to many bugs stability issues plague it, JIT makes everything unstable, so i am now in the works of releasing another donut rom, this time its goin to be based on a ASOP rom, it will be themed by me, when its ready i will release it so stay tuned

as i said before you have to use my rootfs, if not wifi will break it is stated very clearly on first post

it's Android 2.1 Eclair!! And this is important because it's fully compatible with most of the apps you can find in the market and at the same time it's speeder than froyo...
Pro :
-Fast!
-Nice looking!! (in my opinion at least!)
-Quite optimized for our devices (you can feel it from the first time you start it)
-3D fully working better than froyo!! (Neocore gives me 21 FPS!! OC700mhz)
-Live Wallpaper support!!
-ADW Launcher with Sense theme (Other Themes are embedded...you can select them through menu/sense settings/Themes)
-Almost everything (Except camera and USB storage because of the kernel) shold work ok!!
Cons :
-Battery consumption (about 7,5% per hour) it's due to the lack of the NAND installation which would save much more battery!

-copy the content of the folder (in the 7z archive of course!!) into the root of your storage card and place there the startup for your device that you can find in STARTUPCONF folder (If you use mine you should copy the folder instead of the files in the root of your storage card!)

These guys have a ROM creator for NAND (NBH image). Have you had a play with it?

Haret.exe freezes afther loading startup.txt (I copied the right one! I've a blackstone...) and I can't even see the linux boot screen.
After that, I have to remove the battery and start the phone again.
What I'm doing wrong ¿?
EDIT: Solved! I had my blackstone overclocked @ 604 mhz and although it didnt give me any problems and was completely stable in windows mobile, haret.exe was freezing! Now, at default speed, haret.exe is booting android ok!

Hi,
At first try a chance without overclocked startup ... If it doesn't help, backup your sdcard, format it (fat32) ... and try again install ...
First impression: It runs smoothly. Having some problems with the device not wanting to turn back on the screen after it go's black automaticly. It can't find my wireless network as well, although it can find other networks in the area. But this must be my personal issue.

The only things that is "not working" ( sort of ) is the button right button, which does nothing...
Another thing, I can't find the Sense configuration to change the theme...I search on the menu but no Sense configuration...am I missing something?

The right button is to lock and turn off the monitor. If you hold it longer, you can shut down the phone from there.
I found sense configuration if you click on Home button.
Does anyone have problems with syncing google account data? Any chance to fix this?

This is a build I have compiled from the official CyanogenMod source files and adapted for Kaiser/Vogue. Feel free to give it a go at your own risk!
Well, it still isn't quite as snappy as Froyo and the camera still doesn't work properly but it's probably about as fast as Gingerbread will get on our devices. I'm bound to have messed a few things up but i'll continue to work on it when I get time
All the usual things are working as far as i know, GPS works fine for me but the camera is as always not fully functional.
All of this is thanks to the guys working on the CyanogenMod roms and of course, none of this would work without all the hard work on the kernel so big thanks to dzo, vilord, l1q1d etc...

I have included the updated RIL and all of the Google Apps are up to date. The camera is still ****e but that's a driver issue. This release hasn't been heavily tested as I don't use my Kaiser as a main phone anymore So i'm sure you will find issues in which case we can sort them out as and when. Enjoy!

This is an alpha and still needs a fair bit of work to get it running to it's full potential but you can get an idea of what it will be like. Hmm for some reason I cannot boot to android the phone has been stuck in boot loop for the last 15 minutes. I have an app.img file with about 80 applications so this might be a problem I'll try to boot it without the app.img. Both data and system on sd card imgs + latest '25 kernel.
Edit.
Ok I have removed the apps.img and it still doesn't boot.
I have noticed that there have only been modules for '32 kernel included in the build. Should it work with '25 kernel with proper modules added?
I'll wait for All Languages version to test it with the new kernel.

downloaded kernel VOGUIMG-320-FROYO-01-16-11.NBH, then changed with editor to kaiser and painel 2. Install occured ok.... but phone isn't working.. "no service".
2. I do i see my batery status? can only see that bar on the top but don't no accurate bat status in %.
3. after this install can i install another another version overwrithing this one? for example now the phone isn't working so i want to change to another version of android can i simply put another "androidinstal.tar" in andboot folder and install?

YES! you can
To view Battery percentage, you need to set that in Cyanogenmod Settings (correct me if I'm wrong here since its been ages when I used CM build)
Yes, you can do that it's actually very simple. Just remember to edit your .nbh before every install if you are changing versions (donut, froyo, eclair).

Try a .32 kernel, also i have only tested it on NAND so it may be an issue with Haret. To be honest we're lucky it works with the .32 kernel so i expect problems with the .25 kernel. Sorry

Yes I have noticed that there have only been '32 modules included in the build.
I think I'm going to skip the '32 kernel as It was acting up on me in the past. I'll try nand install in the evening hopefully it will work. Thanks Scooter.

I recommend using the latest .32 kernel you can find, either one that L1q1d has compiled or one from Clemsyn's thread You can find the latest kernel here: http://androidhtc.git.sourceforge.n...7c0bf5edc4f5c6d64ce4df29254e8332ce26b;hb=HEAD
Well have installed 6.1 and phone now works... =)
Will wait until a new version of this one to come out and then try again...

- Some bugs that occurred to me .. sometimes bar on the bottom disappear can't access apps... ; some freezing sometimes, do you guys recommend to overlock? if so how to do it? Weather widget can't find info too lol not a serious prob...
I'm reading forum and these are some questions i couldn't find answer, for now i think that's all.. i'm enjoying android on kaiser think this is the time i will change forever...

The bar at the bottom of the scrren can disappear if you swipe down on the screen, it is a bit random but is a flaw in ADW launcher. To get it back you need to press the 'menu' button and go to 'settings' then go to 'ADW Settings, UI Settings and untick 'Dockbar'. Re-select 'Dockbar' and exit settings and it should be back I expect some freezing, it is still under heavy development and our devices are quite limited hardware wise so there won't be any miracles yet I overclock my Kaiser to 500Hz using ATools, a lot of people don't recommend it but it is what i have always done and i have never had any problems, it speeds the phone up a fair amount. Just tick the option when editing your NBH. The phone obviously needs to be connected to data or wifi for weather widget to get location information, i just tried it with wifi and it worked ok, there may be an issue with data though, i'll look into it Thanks for testing.

So there are two people now porting SebastianFM's rom to hero? Would you please give your roms a individuel name so we can easily see whos rom it is ^^ i will add it to my database but if both roms have the same name it will be confussing.

I don't know if bonesy still go on with the port, he don't have a Hero anymore.
But if he does still port the rom i will change the name then.

Just flashed and it seems to be running fine! will just test it further. but...
IMPORTANT:
i've just realised an important step in porting this might be to find the commit in the CM source tree that made the animations so smooth on the hero again, this might solve the problems with the ui being laggy. I seem to remember reading "textview_setlimit" somewhere? erasmux might be a better authority on this.

i did try to login but with no luck, in 0.21 it worked for me.

I tried this ROM this morning. I get the Sense restarts too. But I think when the restarts are fixed this ROM will be very nice indeed.

For anyone, like me, that needs this ROM signed, here's an uploaded copy on Fileserve: SebastianFM 0.3-signed.
The ROM is so much faster and more stable than the last release, so props to the DEVs on this, however with Rosie constantly crashing... Great Alpha release, alright Beta, but wouldn't recommend for everyday use just yet.

How is the build? I know there is no led when plugged in but thats probably due to the origins of the rom to work on winmo6. i will rework it to lessen the partition size to what a normal CM7 build should be(150/5mb), so please bare with me. Thanks.
Any other issues please report back so i can strive to solve the issues. I had a Motorola Cliq before(still do) and things are way different for this device than that, but i will do my best to bring you a quality build for cLK and also Magldr in the future. Thank you to All.

I'm trying this rom right now and I must said everything is good so far. The only thing I've notice is that the g-sensor doesn't work. Yes I've checked in the display settings and still it doesn't work.
Is anybody facing the same issue?

Please bare with me. This was an SD build designed to run from windows so it will get fixed. The initial release and the second were done back to back. So I have to take a break to really check all the bugs.
The second release was slimmed down and a magldr version also. I'm striving to make this a stable build. Thank you for your support.
I am uploading 7.2 it is stable. I listen to everyones problems, ideas and the results a stable build than before.
G sensor fix
led notifications fix(wont stay on after you pull off charger or usb)
Added a full reboot menu( option to go into recovery)
Clk/Magldr will be posted when upload is done.
