Move contacts from MS My Phone to Google(Android) based solution on HTC Desire? - Desire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I had HTC HD2 with MS My Phone. What is the easiest way to copy contacts to some Android equivalent on Htc Desire? Thank you.

I'd sync them to google using exchange

+1 for syncing with Google via exchange

Lotus Synchro
Hi man,
I'm using Commontime's mSuite 5.
For me it's the best software in synchronisation, just only one disadvantage - cannot synchronise hand written notes.
But for more detials click on the link: http://web.commontime.com/
If you must be exposed to Lotus, as I am at work, please consider using the free Lotus to Outlook connector, which will allow you to be entirely compatible with a lotus system, but use Outlook instead.
I work in a major Lotus based office, and have to say that the connector (and Outlook) have finally made Lotus bearable, with no problems whatsoever (ie Calendar, ToDo, Notes, Email etc all work better than they did before, but are all derived from the Lotus system).
And of course, once you have Outlook, you can sync normally and easily.

My company has decide that only phones with Windows Mobile can synch their activities via Exchange ActiveSynce (due to security issues)
Because of this I need either to but new HTC WinMo based , or to install WinMo on my HTC Desire device .

Click to collapse
Yes, but involves selling your Desire and buying a WinMo phone.
If you'd bothered to search, you'd have known this!

Outlook Task Sync

Hi gang,
I love my desire, have been using it for last 7 months. And I love XDA.
Desire beats blackberry and nokia eseries phones hands down even on professional usage purpose.
I want to be able to create & sync task with outlook exchange server. Is there a way I can do it using one of the free apps?
Thank you in advance for your time & energy!
Regards,
Amar
