The current CEntrilo version will only work on older versions of Ventrilo. The developer of CEntrilo has released files related to his software so that someone may take up the challenge to update his program. I have verified that the user name and password are still correct.
Let this thread be dedicated to building a working version of CEntrilo for 3.0 vent servers. We could call it "CEntrilo XDA" unless someone else has a better idea.

I fully support this project. I have been pushing in the Ventrilo forums for this for a long time. I will keep watching this thread for this program.

I could be talking to my gaming friends in Vent while I am stuck here at work on my phone, instead of posting this information here.

Now that I look at the link I posted, this looks like a lost cause. G3GG0 is not going to make his program work with the 3.0 servers.
There is interest in getting vent to work on Windows Mobile. Why does nobody want to take up this impressive feat? G3GG0's code is right there!!!!!
Hell, create a version that works with Android, make big bucks on the Android market, at the very least.

This has gone quite a long time unanswered, i dont think its going to change
I would like to update.
There is a open source linux ventrilo client that we can port to WM. If someone can link me to some WM programming, I would do it.

Nice idea! ive just uploaded a 6.5 stock like rom here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3957547#post3957547 . feel free to add it if you like. if you keep this up to date maybe it should be stickied here

FWIW, and just so you know, it's against Google's Terms to in any way explicitly entice, tell, or ask someone to click on your google ads.
Considering you are hoping on some form of monetization from this blog, blogger is a google product, and if google catches you (you even say it right on the page...) they will take away your account and any money it has earned.
Just thought I'd let you know so you didn't get in trouble.

cheers but these roms arent about making money. thats what our jobs are for. theyre about doing somthing you enjoy and sharing what you do with the community here. if people want to donate theyre welcome to but they dont have to pay to use the things on this site. yes it may help the popularity of my roms but it also helps with the idea of the blog it being there. other than that there is no planned gain from me saying that

Hello guys, I have idea about the Perfect APP and who is able to make such thing will become a Millionaire with sure.
1st wana say im not a programer and i just have the right idea.. i cannot do it by myself but i decide to write it here and maybe some of you can be interested.
Its hard really but its inovation and worth the time because will change almost everything.
Now every single day we clearly can see that more and more the peoples start using they Pocket PC to surf in the net than the regular methood so.. all costumers LOVE the direct application.. like YouTube PLayer.. like many other because they dont need to open a browser and to type there the url.. and to wait to load.. they prefer ready APPs because is alot more easyer, Faster and Smooth with one single click you are there where you wana be.
My idea is:
Single Program.. that will be conected to a web address, in the web address can have actual INFO of alost everything.. from Wheater, Finances, Cinema, News, Sport, Flight tickets and many more.. you name it..depends how hard you wana do it..
So imagine one single APP in your device.. when you run it.. directly to appear like web page all the INFOs and you just choice what you wana chek today.. also will recognize the Country AREA and will show you exactly the INFO you need.
For example if you are from UK... when the app load you will be able to see the curency GBP to all other.. the corect wheater for your city, what movies will be played in the Cinema, Events, News and all this for UK... so with app like this you will be always in touch you do not need any more.. to read newspapers, or surf in internet to read some news etc.
Application like this will be inovation and will change everything in the MOBILE bussines.

We've come so far with Android development on the Touch Pro 2... I can remember the first BLAZN/Reference release from XDAndroid, slower than crap... and now I use Android (FROYO X Red) mainly instead of WinMo... keep it up, guys! Dedicated tester with a RHOD210 here.

ok guys, I'm getting a package ready for testing
this will be a very different test you will use wm and sd card
1- format fat32
2- on your sd card. just add system.ext2, ts-calibration, and roofts.img. that it.
3- on your root of windows mobile. you will add this. androidapps, conf, media, modules and zimage, initrd.gz, STARTUP.TXT, and haret.exe
4- edit your startup. and add this line rel_path=storage card.
I will explain more later. I have to go to work

very close on getting MMS for CDMA DEVICES
I'm getting a test build ready
I have send around 23 pictures with no problem. I know people in the past was able to send. but now it very simple.
1- mod roofts for mms. i needed to created permission in data and add it xml files. Also in system/etc I add it apn.xml for cdma devices.
2- you just need to fill 3 lines for mms in APN setting.
to tell you guys the truth, I been playing with my phone sending pictures to everyone , cool
I'M WORKING ON RECEIVING NOW. MAYBE BY THIS WEEKENG ALL OF YOU WILL HAVE MMS.
