Hopefully someone will make a rom that features all of these. gapless is sort of implemented in museek but with a manual control that's iiffy at best and still no lossless audio support. how hard is it exactly to enable support?

I read that actually oneplus 3 doesn't support Bluetooth aptx. I don't think that it will be implemented in future updates. Is there a way to include aptx support in custom roms? That would improve a lot Bluetooth audio quality!

I tried it with a new apt-x receiver.
Sound quality is awful. Also volume is low.
With my old Samsung alpha it sounds ok though.
Would be nice if we could improve Bluetooth audio somehow
Aptx may be supported by custom kernels... We should ask to kernel developers for support. There won't be official support because oneplus didn't pay licenses for aptx support...
Anyway to disable the noise canceling feature that google implemented for video audio recording?

A few days ago I saw a message (somewhere?) where the poster mentioned that the Open Camera app had an audio source option in the video recording settings that seemed to improve audio quality. You may possibly have to set the Camera2 API on in the settings as well (not sure of this) in order to see all the options. There is an "Unprocessed" option in the audio source options. I've not tested this myself but it sounds like it (no pun intended) has promise for audio in video recordings.
Thanks. Sounds alot cleaner. But audio seems to be more quiet.
Hey everyone,
So, I purchase the Samsung Galaxy Buds. I like these little things.
Overall, the sound is good, bass is there (not great but good for wireless), and the portability is awesome. I've had stellar battery life. My only problem... some video and audio latency in some games and videos.
I've done some research and found that the Bluetooth codec has a lot to do with latency and such. I've enabled Developer Options, scrolled to Bluetooth Audio Codec, and selected another option... but the option doesn't stick. No matter what I pick, SBC continues to stay selected. Even though the bud support SBC, AAC, and Scalable. So, how can I get the AAC codec to be selected?
Also, I don't suppose there is a way to get the Scalable codec installed. I hear it does really well with these buds.
Thanks!
Scalable is a codec engineered by Samsung, so my Galaxy can use SBC/AAC/SC with the Buds. As for your question, you have to consider the legality behind porting Scalable. Assuming Samsung's policy prohibits redistribution and modification, no one will touch it. There's likely a reason behind the lack of a Scalable module (magisk) or flashable (afaik).
Z2 can use AAC on LOS, no clue about stock fw. One other thing, did you update the firmware for the Galaxy Buds?
So from what I understand aptx codec should be available in SD870. Is it possible to enable it in stock MIUI?
Aptx codec is enabled by default
Can anyone confirm me that aliothin support aptx audio codec?
And if support which which aptx codec does it have?
I got these two ss from developer setting.
All aptx except aptx lossless
I may be wrong about the last one
