If you are talking about using HTC Mail app to configure your Gmail account, I prefer Gmail application over it. There are some disadvantages like you can't copy text from mails, no syncing schedule etc. But, I still like the Gmail app.

i just received m Tmo SGS2 and i have 2 facebook accounts. Is it possible to run 2 facebook accounts on this phone at the same time?
possible yes
using the same app, not quite
you can use different facebook apps, to login with your different facebook accounts
i've yet to see a facebook app that lets you use multiple accounts
how can i download the same facebook app twice from the market? one facebook acct is with my gmail and the other facebook is with my hotmail.
Well yoI won't be able to use the same app or download two of the same, but try and find an app that supports multiple accounts.

you can have two if you use the market Facebook app and then under the phones account and sync setting, add another Facebook account using Samsung social hub. Hopefully this is what you were looking for.

If you dont like spam might want to remove that photo. Otherwise the trolls will attack your accounts.
Hi,
Is it possible to set priority for outgoing mails? I couldn't find it...

There is no way to prioritize outgoing within the gmail app, it also doesn't work with the stock mail client.
Maybe another app like enhanced email or k9 is capable of this?

I haven't tried them yet but it should be. So, does gmail have priority when it is using on web?

I never really thought about whether the gmail web service offers to set an e-mails priority. Just checked though and it appears that you simply can't, there's no option to be found.
Also, gmail appears to delete/disregard incoming mails priorities, an email send via outlook exchange arrived with out any indication for its high priority.
This probably also rules out the possibly to get around it with any other app.
What a strange! Gmail app shows priority mails as a folder but gmail doesn't support to send priority mail

I have both apps on both of my android phones (atrix_4G & SGS2). I obviously use gmail as my email provider. Does the gmail app offer functionality that that standard built-in email app does not. If not I'll probably delete the gmail app, as I get emails in both of them, at the same time. I don't need the redundancy so let one go.
I like K9, awesome email app...

K9 is the best mail client for me, no wakelocks at all anf much more customizable

the Email app is definitely better than Gmail in terms of functionality.
although, Email and Gmail are both craps, why not try Kaiten email, you will never regret it. You receive email instantly, just like chat!

With K9, I find trying to distinguish unread emails difficult. Anyway to solve this problem?
I use both of them, I use Gmail for my Google account and Email for my another accounts.
I think Gmail is better
both
Gmail is better...i like the whole look n feel of the app.
Email app, grouped mail box
I used them both, for another email i usually use browser directly
I use both of them and they are both nice email apps but have personaly a lil preference for gmail .
I use the Email program from ICS AOSP (wanams hacked version) much better than the sammy email.

But does is also have push notification for gmail?
i like how email would compress image attatchements but other than that i just use gmail. im used to it.
I like both , but i consider gmail my favorite
Neither of them really as you need both Gmail is Google accounts and email is for MSN, Hotmail etc... accounts
using Gmail default.. Its working fine for me
I am using the Samsung Stock email app, setup as Microsoft Exchange Active Sync for push, but lately it's giving me some wakelock issues, and that's why I was searching for an alternative. I found an app, called AquaMail, which is cool but couldn't figure out how to enable push even after selecting it. Another one called Emoze, but it didn't even accept my Gmail user and pass, God knows why!
So what do you guys use? Which has push support and also I need sent email notification, just like stock Samsung app.
P.S.: Kindly don't bring up the official GMail app, I hate it.
Thanks in advance.

I am using yahoo mail
A have also never used Gmail stock app.
I have just forwarded Gmail to yahoo.
Though this may not acceptable for all, but best suits me as yahoo is my primary email and using since more than a decade.

Guys, try maildroid. the best email client for android...Just Awesome.
k-9 mail is the best I've tried. From all the apps I've tried, only aquamail and k-9 work with push notifications (imap). The rest apps I've checked (including stock mail app) doesn't work with push.
Ok guys and GLS, I logged on my yahoo email and AOL on setting>>accounts>>add account >>Email.
After I signed in it shows me sync your email will appear shortly"" for two hour nothing appear.
