Flashed this to my friend's G1 and figured out it works just fine on the G1 as well as the sapphire. So posting it in the dream forum as well.
I take no credit for the basework of this theme. I was so inspired by this community hero mix ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550785 ) that I felt compelled to fuse elements from my old Bebop Theme, using it as a template, for my own purposes and just for the fun of it. Decided that I'd share it w/ the community for any other Cowboy Bebop fans out there that might be interested. The theme work on this not pertaining to Cowboy Bebop was contributed by khuonk, JrBourque (for the modified Android VK), and all the people who contributed in this thread -

Yeah, deathnote is pretty ill. Sadly mythemeing days are pretty much over for the time being. This stuff tends to take mje a REALLY long time cuz im very meticulous and, well, im really not home all that often these days ha ha.
Im a huge android geek but a true hip hop head first and foremost and i need a really good graff theme incorporating some clean new age style graff. i really like the 3d style graff like this http://www.graffititechnica.com/ . anyone thinks they can pull this off im positive it would be very popular.

someone should make some crazy wallpapers like this for android phones, the ones on the site are a bit to small height wise. i think it would be brilliant to come up with wallpapers looking like this

ok, as of now most of the artwork is not implemented aside from a few areas so screenshots would be in essence pointless as they'd show a detailed 2d avatar running at a bunch of very basic squares and walking through walls where ill be putting doors but I'm working on an RPG similar in graphics to final fantasy 5 (though a lot of the npcs are the same as I'm no artist and I'm certainly not a team of developers.) the game is called "icari- the descent" and will be my first game for wp7. The story centralizes around a girl named fayth in her quest to escape the city of the icari who are a group of winged humes that are essentially elitist douchebag dictators." during her quest she befriends 2 other characters I i don't want to reveal much of the plot there is a rebel icari involved so you do get to play as them too.
like I said, the graphics are pretty weak by modern standards as I'm no artist but one thing that sets this RPG apart from the rest is that it implements a lot of things that weren't available then. Here's a few examples.
-late in the first chapter there is a dungeon where you are struck with paralysis, you have to tilt the level to slide your character through the dungeon avoiding holes and fighting monsters using only magic or guns if that's what you choose for one of your characters to utilize.
-early on, you can't even get out of the first dungeon without reading a sign that informs you that shaking your phone will help clear a boulder that blocks your path.
-at some points you will have to look around for something, using the tilt sensor on the phone you can look in all directions during these points (at my terrible graphics but eh, i do what I can)
And there's others but again, I don't want to give it all away. I'm planning on releasing a fully loaded ad supported version, the only things the paid version at 1.99 will get you is full access to some secret dungeons with some epic gear and secret bosses. I will be releasing it in 3 separate parts but you only have to buy it once if you so choose. I've been working on this since the wp7 dev environment was made readily available and I i have left to do to finish chapter one is finish my drag and drop equip menu (which has proven tougher than I expected) and implement some of the graphics, most of which are done though again, I'm no pro artist. I like to think i did fairly well though. anyway, sorry i don't have more to share but i promise ill update as soon as i get this puzzle pieced together.
Sounds cool. However, it may be more on-topic in the more "normal" WP7 development forums, like http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=851. This one is almost entirely devoted to homebrew and phone hacks.

Just to detract from all the hater posts on here lately, I just wanted to say that I just came onboard from android and, aside from the lack of good games, I really do love my wp7.

I played with the HTC Surround (what was HTC thinking?) with Mango on it and it was nice. Can't wait til I get one.
I traded my HTC incredible s for an lg quantum and haven't looked back!
nice and welcome! have had my focus for over a year now, and enjoy it every day I've had. which is pretty remarkable since people get bored of phones so quickly.

Another happy WP7 user. All it takes is for people to use one in a context of owning it and they will be hooked. By the way, there are some excellent games. You just have to browse through them. You can try many of them that are paid. I have a large selection in my collection and can list them for you if you need.

What i miss the most is a good first person shooter
I can live with the lack of games though, everything else makes it totally worthwhile imo..
Never any lag, and I don't feel like I need to constantly flash or tweak my device.
Makes me much more productive in other areas of my life hahah

A FPS will come eventually. But the closest right now is The Harvest or Assassin's Creed. There's a new one I just saw called Fusion: Sentient that looks promising.

I've had my HTC trophy since it came out in the spring/summer on vzw. i had a droid x before, and I don't miss android. Every month I would have to flash my phone so it would be fast again. Not needed with wp7. I love the OS, but the phone could have better specs.

I would recommend pro evo soccer but then I guess football isn't everyone's taste would be good to see some other sports games, I think baseball could cross to phone really well and cricket. Could also do American football and rugby in a similar way to pes could use swipe controls for kicks and scrums etc to add extra elements.
Ps welcome onboard I to came from android and love it. Android still has a place in my heart but more in tablets now. =)

It can be. I usually play to about the 10th level and then restart. I like it up to the 10th level. After that it becomes a pain and un-fun.
Finally a thread without bad karma getting quite rare now...

Pulse has a live tile? I know it has background updates.
I've just spent 11 hours on fusion: sentinels. It is everything a cellphone game should be and its integration with my 360 is amazing. Highly recommended.

I own one from 27/12/2010 omnia 7;;
until now and I love it
But a little disappointed with the new devices..
I was waiting something big from Samsung here in Europa but still nothing

Guys I just had an idea of android fun wallpaper. It will have the green android robot posing in the DX style (Degeneration X from WWE - HBK and Triple H). The android will have his hands crossed. From the crossing point, we make the nexus logo (i.e. paint the hands of the android in 4 colours). Similar to what Triple H is doing in this image
Of course, there will be the bitten fruit in front of our DX-Android
If you like this idea, I or someone else can work on creating the wallpaper and post here.

edit: Thinking about it more... it would be even more awesome to have the DX gang side by side (all droids) all with a bit of character.
