Has somebody installed new ROM JASJAR_WWE_13076_164_10900?

Please let us know your experiences with the new official ROM from imate for the JASJAR.

Just have ! (upgraded from the i-mate test rom)
All I can say so far is it is bloody fast ! It feels like my old XDA II now :lol:

Battery icon to time
Much faster than the previous official JJ ROM.
The only complaint so far is the time on Today is changed to a battery icon...any idea how to make it the time? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Oh, and no stereo BT

At least compared to the test ROM, the Fn-Right arrow works....
I had problems with the phone part with the test ROM. As I have the new ROM installed just last night, i haven't had time to test the stability.
And yes, it is definitely faster

this release rom has changes to the camera app awell,
i knew the up/down on the dpad did zoom, but im sure the left/right never used to change the camera modes, ie, pic, vid, mms vid, etc, now it does, no more fannying around fumbling touching the screen.
ive done a test mms and that worked fine, i couldnt get it to work on the test rom,
push mail is working, the comm manager seems to be smoother in operation now.
activesync, is as fast as on the test rom, possibly slightly faster. I didnt have a long pause that i had on the test rom before the first sync.
ive unlocked the extended rom, seemlessly

Where is the Voice Dial ?, I am not able to find it

they are in rom, so you cant, but you can replace them with small files for a little impact

On the ftp there's another ROM, 1.30.82 . Has anyone tried it or know what it is?

This new ROM makes my phone very unstable and eats the battery in no time. Have to soft reset 10 times every day, because the phone freeze.
I didn't have these problems with the old Qtek ROM

I tend to agree on the phone issues ... maybe it's better to get back to 1.08.00

Could not find 1.30.82, please provide info where did You find it.
If it is available, I agree with the question, anybody tried it already ?

All new i-mate Jasjar ROMs were finally published at their website.

1.30.82 is also there, and it stands for the new Arabic or South Africa builds.

There are two versions of 1.30.82: ME (Middle East) and SA (South Africa). I installed the SA version. No problems at all so far. I didn't let the Extended ROM install.
It seems just like the Test ROM, only that the Connection Manager can now be started with Fn + [right arrow]. No futher differences. Just as fast.
I think the only difference of ME and SA versions is the Extended ROM. I wonder if there is any noticable difference between the version numbers 1.30.76 and 1.30.82.
As things are now, this will be my last ROM upgrade. Finally the Jasjar runs like it should and I can't imagine things to get much better. Unless there is a new ROM and I can't resist....

thats not true, i am using this rom all day long and it is actualy super, it is very light and at the same time it has every thing i need.
so people, no bugs at all.
it is super fast with alot of free memory in the storage

I can second that - remember to hard reset!
However - you have to life with the not working SSmaPa (as for most HD Roms). But the rest is fine.

well as i said, it has every thing i need, i dont use to much third party apps, but even if i wanted to use, then u have a lot of options to use, in stead of ssmapa, i could use vj`s application for replacing the default calendar or something similar.
after all, every single rom in here has a bug or two.
there is no perfect rom, even the official htc releases have bugs

some small bugs and speed could be better, but is not that bad.

i have never used ttmax´s roms, this is the first one, and i must say i really LOVE IT
but these words "is not that bad" is very rude from you.
have u ever tried to make a rom?
and than comes some one and tells to your very hard work (witch you dont get paid for that, he shares to every one) its not that bad. i am 100 percent sure u didnt even try this rom,

i have made a couple of roms for myself and i tried this rom, its not the best and its not the worst, so what!? Should i tell every cook on this board his rom is awesome when its not true?

No Internet over 3G
Hi there,
First, thanks for this great ROM. Its running smooth and fast on my diamond.
But there is one little issue I have.
It doesn't connect to the Internet over 3G. (no mails, no weather updates) Everything works flawlessly over WiFi.
I did a hard-reset after flashing. Actually, I think the automatic "Network Setup" that comes up after running for the first time didn't come up. How could I run this manually?
Other services from my network (Orange CH Switzerland) are working OK (SMS etc)
Any Idea how I could solve this and what causes it?

Nothing massively of interest IMHO. Hard to tell which version it's based on (but it still has the flip clock).

as I read all the post and reply...(I am chinese.... not reading the translated version)
it's still a pretty buggy rom......
not to flame on the cheif or anything...
it just seems like this still in the bug report stage...

I agree, with bluetooth and GPS disabled, Hero is worse than a modded G1 (which I've sold early this month). But traditional Chinese is tempting though (just wait, albeit impatiently, for SIS to launch HTC Hero in hongkong)

I guess we still have to waot till the offical Hero land HK // TW for traditional chinese.. for me.. english UI looks better...
But hopfully once the offical product landed and people can provide their backup and we can have them ^^
(hope they fix the ..stoke for tradition chinese input this time...=0=")

I believe u mean the CIME ?
ya..I am actually using it...
but since it's from Magic I believe...and
the Magic CIME is well known... only support simplifed Chinese in the stoke input
(HTC said they will fix it.. but not yet(never) happen.....)

FWIW, I have installed this on my i9000M. Seems to work fine. A couple options msising as compared to the stock camera, one important one being where the images are written (internal or sdcard).

Coool looks good, too bad it only knows english or chinese, if your language is something else, it will use chinese

Gingerbread dictionairies issue

Hello Guys
I am trying to use Polish dictionary in the gingerbread keyboard because i find it more accurate and responsive and less buggy than the HTC IME mod but cannot get the Polish prediction to work
anybody has an idea?

Polish dictionary didn't work for me in Redux (1.1.0). I've switched to Oxygen - now it's OK.

well I got polish and english selected in the language input but when I switch to polish nothing happens, the predictive/correction still comes up as english
