This ROM will work on every GSM Hero.
OCed version is fast as hell. Faster than any ROM arround here IMHO.
GPS fix is very fast with the new radio too.
Don't blame me for bugs.
You NEED to download OverclockWidget from the Market to overclock!!
The keyboard MAY be broken. IF SO, turn off the prediction in it's settings. Kthx.

so im guessing this is the official official? not the one that was already released?
I think it's the one that was already released, and in my opinion it's not the complete ROM, the USB tethering isn't active and there's no facebook app/widget.
I have a rom with test key before this. I tried renaming to update but I got an error when updating.
Oh also there is no facebook app or widget. it just download contact photo's and photo albums and you can update facebook or twitter status from your own contacts.

Download an already ported her rom, JAC hero for example. Flash the SPL (as long as you have the new radio) and then flash the rom...

It's for the ADP1 - without the Hero kernel source, it isn't of much use to us.

So, how do you have a donut zip that is supposed to work perfectly with the hero? I thought that was not possible yet?

I've downloaded it and flashed my hero immediately when I finished download.It really works.You can't image how fast it is!
Previous ROM vertion is RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_2.73.405.5_WWE_release_signed_NoD river.exe with rooted.
First try,I failed,it said"ID CHECK FAILED",then I changed to the GoldenCard(a special TF card) and flashed again,everything goes fine.
It has only two language,Traditional Chinese & English.

It's in Chinese and english. Will test out MoreLocale as soon as the upload is done as it is draining my connection.

there are issues with superuser popping and and bugging you a fair bit but paul is onto it
But now there is this new firmware available... I cant sleep so I am going to flash it on now.
But R3 is very nice. Its getting better and better... just a shame there is so many firmware updates, im getting sick of re installing everything..
