since a few days my artemis sometimes turns off when i finished a call. if i push the red button to end the conversation the phone turns off...?
i have to power on the phone again to make it work then.
anyone familiar with this problem?
my current OS is babbelut 0.3 rom. running it since january and never had problems with it.
...
hey dude..
i ''strongly'' doubt it is the rom mate..
i had simular problem a while ago, mine also started to randomly switch off..
how old is your battery?
my first thoughts are battery issue because since ive bought a new battery i have not experienced it again.. its perfect now
if you do decide to try buying a new battery dude..
*put new battery in
*leave device off
*DO NOT SWITCH IT ON
*charge untill orange charging led has turned green
*done
this worked for me
yeah well i think so too that its the battery causing the problem. but i wont buy a new one. i will see how long i can continue with this before i switch to i.e. the HTC Desire or something like that

My P3300 Artemis, is connected and a time to another, turns off.
The image of the display is erasing the few, it seems that is dying.
When connected, it syncs with the PC normally.
I have a hard-reset and the problem keeps up
Also installed new ROM and is equal
Had previously updated the RADIO and back to the original problem and keep it!
Who can tell me what happens?
Thank you!
Sorry about my english
Could be this my problem????

Any suggestion? please...
I would try a new battery, my P3300 was crashing and shutting down in all sorts of strange ways until I replaced mine. My battery was about 18 months old. Often it would say the charge was about 62% then crash and restart, in a continual loop of start, crash, start.
Does your device work fine when charging?

Hi MaskedMarauder

It is almost definately the battery then, Li-Ion batterys do strange things when they are dying.

Hi,
anyone knows how this could happened?
When I turn on my wifi on BA, not long after that, my BA will be turned off automatically with the screen goes blank suddenly.
And when I tried to do softreset to my BA, it will goes blank and hang again until I plug this BA into charger/computer?
Is this a hardware problems or just conflict in software?
I just recently got this problem, back then I never got this when using wifi on my BA.
Please help me.
Thanks
PS: I'm using WM 6.1 Rom from Xplode.
Sounds like you need a new battery, cos the batt hasnt enough power in it when the wifi is turned on.
it seems so..lately my BA (without using any wifi) lifetime is so short.
but actually when I'm trying to turn on wifi, my battery indicator still in 90%.
I hope this is caused because of my battery leaked and not any hardware problems.
but still, anyone experienced this and change your battery to new one and the wifi problem is gone?
I have 2 batts for mine and even tho the 1 is fully charged it causes the BA to turn off after a few secs of being on, But the BA with the other batt works fine. So I think after you have bought a new batt, I dont think you will have probs.
ok then, I will try to find new baterries for mine.
Thanks
ebay, theres loads
Got a few spare batteries including a brand new OEM one. £5 delivered if your in the UK.
ok guys, I have a HTC Desire, been using it about 2 months now after HTC sent me a new one . but anyway now I'm in a bit of trouble with it. I plugged it in over night like I usually do to find it perfectly fully charged and ready for its days work. However today was different. I found my phone to still have the orange light on and found this a bit strange, and what added to it was that my phone had not charged AT ALL from last night, but had not decreased in battery either. So I decided to restart the phone, and now it doesn't want to charge or switch on. However if I take out the battery and plug the phone in, the red and green LED's flicker like usual when the battery is not inserted. Any diagnostics anybody? I think my battery died but I don't want to spend £35 on a new one if the phones broken anyway..
symptoms [more in detail above]:
1 It didn't charge
2 after turning off, it didn't charge or turn on
3. if i take out battery, LED's flicker as normal
Never mind guys I found out it's broken, took it to the phone shop and tried a different battery and still didn't work, and mine did with another phone :'(
Good Afternoon,
Unfortunately my HTC Touch Pro2 stopped working... it turns on, shows "HTC Touch Pro2" and the ROM version info, then restarts.
The last time I installed a ROM was over 3 months ago... please tell me how to fix my phone, or where I should take it to get it fixed.
Thanks,
Alec Taylor
BTW: When I leave it plugged into power, it keeps trying to boot itself [restarting at the exact same point as before]
Htc Touch Pro2 stays on Rom version info! help!!!

I seem to have the same problem, and it's been a week. I had posted a message in another thread in the CDMA rhodium forum. No solutions yet. By the way, I had tried everything, from flashing new rom, to hard reset, to new battery. Nothing worked.
Crossing my fingers...
Same thing happened to me and many others.
This fixes 99% of these related problems.
Take battery out for a few hours (6 hours), there is a chip on the battery that needs to be reset. Put battery back in the phone and DO NOT turn it on. Plug it into POWER and NOT USB for about 12 hours, give it a good charge. Remove the battery for 2 hours and put battery back in. Turn the phone on and it should be working.
The Chip on the (battery/that governs the battery) needs reseting.
the same thing just started happening to me today. what a pain in the a##. I using the new Energy Rom. Could the rom be the problem?
I did everthing like you said, but when i plug the device for recharge the battery the device turns on it self! Changing the battery you think it would help?
I have 2 TP2's and 4 batteries. I tried all 4 batteries on the one with the problem, all with the same results. None the less, I tried what you said, letting the battery drain and recharge, I even recharged with a separate battery charger.
Sad to say, none of that helped....
This is worse than bricking the thing....
Hi,
I was on HTC stock Marshmallow and faced the same problem that my phone would turn off without warning at around 15-25%. I thought this was a bug in the stock ROM so i flash cm 14.1 but still i am facing the same problem. The phone just turns off like today it turned off at 29%. When i plug it up to the charger it showed battery 28%. I am thinking about selling my device because this is extremely annoying. Though before doing that i have decided to flash a very popular rom known as "ICE" to see if it fixes the problem. So i want to ask if anyone is having this problem with his m8 or is it just me?
How old is your device?
Because mine is around 2 years old and I face the same problem. For me I think, the battery has deteriorated..

Hold vol up, vol down, and power to do a battery calibration, and see if that helps.
Your data should be safe. But I'd still recommend backing up anything important before doing the calibration, just in case.
I don't know how much old is my device. I bought it 2nd hand. That guy said it was used for only 6 months. Anyways i am going sell this phone soon to get a One plus 3. I have installed S.Team ROM tho, It has minimized the problem as now my phone shuts down in between 10-17%.
