Just a weird finding in the radio rom from the desire.
While browsing the radio rom i found the following:
jxbox360_enable: Trying to enable an already enabled device
jxbox360_disable: Trying to disable an already disabled device
jxbox360_get_usbd_handle: received invalid device handle
Attach xbox360: Out of memory!

So what on earth are those xbox things doing in the radio rom ?
Greetings from a vastloper from Holland.
WTF ?!
u can find it also in nexus radio
Wonder if these are related to upcoming WinPhone7 devices. They'll have XBL connectivity, could sync with the devices, might even have a sort of remote play. Could be pretty cool.

Is it possible to have a usb Tv Tuner working on a HTC HD??
No.
Or at least there is no tv tuner for Blackstone that I know of.
Never heard of it, but would love it
There is actually one I've tried and worked pretty good. But you need to add your own country specific channels. It does have some pre-installed american and french channels you can play with. To be honest, I forgot the name and application of this tool. I will look it up and add it later to this post.
Here as well a TVguide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=499849&highlight=fbtv

yeah, plugging in the coax will be hard ;-)
Right then , but forgive my ignorance, would it be so difficult to create a small app. that could make use of a usb-TV?

Hi So I used to have a touch HD (still do but selling) and have brought a TP2 (arriving soon) and I want to make good use of the keypad.
The first thing I want to do is play on some emulators what are some good options? I have narrowed it down to fpsece and morphgear, are they the best? any others?
Is there anything else cool the keypad gives me that I couldnt do before? I was thinking an app which allows me to connect to my pc/ps3 as a blutooth keyboard would come in very handy does this exist? If not can anyone point me in the right direction to make this myself - I know my way around C# and wm development but never done anything with bluetooth or emulating hardware.
Many thanks

Well there IS a WM app that will do that for both PS3 and PC, it's called MobileRemote1.1...but it seems that it's not working right on the TP2 as of yet. So, if you're skilled enough to fix that issue, there'd be some grateful people here I'm sure Info in THIS thread.
Now what you can use in the meantime, at least on your PC (no PS3 support yet) is an app called gremote, which gives all kinds of remote PC control options, over BT or wifi. Basic version is free, full version is paid. http://gbmsoftware.com/
Thanks for the info on the apps. If I can get some good info on making this type off app I will give it a go.

No prob, good luck! My name is on the list of those who would love to get a full BT keyboard profile on here for use with the PS3 etc
Hi.
I searched much but it came with no result, it's hard to find phase there, because there is many similar threads.
I search for an application which will allow me to use my phone as wireless controller for games <- it's important because most keyhacks won't work with d3d because of cheating-prevention.
I got hardware keyboard and touch panel so I would use keyboard as keyboard and touch like touchpad.
None of wireless image is needed.
Is there anything like this?
Thanks for response in advance!
Cheers my bros, Luby

You can use the screen just like a mousepad on a laptop, and i'm pretty sure It will support hardware keyboard input

Don't work for games keyhook. I found that GRemote is okay.
Closing.
Hey Folks,
I'm using the Desire HD with the Cyanogen Mod 7 (latest Version from 2 Days ago).
Now I connected via Menu (Wireless & Networks --> Bluetooth) a simple "noname" Bluetooth Mouse and the pairing did happen. I used "0000" as Pairing-Code and the Desire gives me the Message "Connected with HID-Device" (or something like that, I use the german language).
Now I should see a Mousearrow or something should happen if I scroll or press a Button.
But nothing happens.
The Mouse itselft works properly - I tried it in Windows7 and Suse-Linux.
I also tried the App BlueInput (latest and some previous versions) but there its the same. I get connected properly but it wont work.
Now I'm hopefully waiting for your ideas (and I hope there are some)
Thanks in advance!
Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, you want to use a mouse to control your handset? Where the handset is directly in front of you?
I dont know if Android supports this. If you wish to remotely control your handset try WebKey from the market.

Well, there is also a possibility to make use of a WiiMote...
I see this more as a proof of concept.
What about the Motorola Atrix within its "to-Netbook-conversation-Docking"?
Internal Keyboard + BT Mouse = playable Quake3 on Android
Err bubble to bursting station, you can use a wiimote on a DHD quite easily. You can even do it with Apps available from the market place, hey you can even use the classic controller and nunchuck with it.
I have used it (not entirely successfully) to play N64 games on an emulator
At first : Thanks for your responses!

Yes, I want to control my Desire HD with a mouse when I stand next to it. If I wouldn't, I wouldn't have asked for it
The thing is that I need a Mousewheel - or at least something that can emulate one.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the WiiControl doesn't have such a feature.
What I found out is, that the Cyanogen 7 doesn't support Mouseweel-Actions.
I installed the latest 6.1 - et voilla - I get a Cursor and the Mousewheel works.
But unfortunately it doesn't work if I use it in a Flashmovie with the WebKit-Browser.
It seems that the Events are not tunneled into the Flashapp.
Someone got an idea for a workaround?
Ps: I like the idea of playing Quake3 on my Desire - but I prefer Quake1
Is there a way of using the mousewheel in a self-written application!?
That could also solve my problem
I mean, in the Cyanomod I can scroll around through lists an so on. There must be a way! (hopefully)

Hi There! I understand that the Android Sixaxis Controller App works on the HOX.
I really want to get it working on the HOX+. See my thread here.
OK, So, as with Many HTC Devices the way the Bluetooth protocols are written prevents the Sixaxis Controller app from configuring the Bluetoth Drivers, as is the case with the HOX+
My question to the Developer community here is.... wait for it.... As it works on the HOX is it possible to extract and port the Bluetooth Protocols / Drivers from the HOX to the HOX+?
I'm no dev! And I don't really understand what would be required to do this. I believe the hardware is the same in both devices. So is this possible. I am more than happy to help with testing etc.
I'll carry on researching but thought I would ask here also.
Any response would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Dudes!
upupupup. would really love to see this working for the one X+.
