Hi There! I understand that the Android Sixaxis Controller App works on the HOX.
I really want to get it working on the HOX+. See my thread here.
OK, So, as with Many HTC Devices the way the Bluetooth protocols are written prevents the Sixaxis Controller app from configuring the Bluetoth Drivers, as is the case with the HOX+
My question to the Developer community here is.... wait for it.... As it works on the HOX is it possible to extract and port the Bluetooth Protocols / Drivers from the HOX to the HOX+?
I'm no dev! And I don't really understand what would be required to do this. I believe the hardware is the same in both devices. So is this possible. I am more than happy to help with testing etc.
I'll carry on researching but thought I would ask here also.
Any response would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Dudes!
upupupup. would really love to see this working for the one X+.

AS I SEE MORE DEVELOPERS DON'T USE BLUETOOTH FUNCTION TO DIVERT MUSIC TO HEADSET KITs. SOME PEOPLE WHO USE OTHER DEVICES (SMARTPHONES, espesially NOKIA) DO THIS VERY EASILY. WHY WE DON'T USE THIS FUNCTION. SOME PEOPLE OF OUR COMMUNITY HAVE TOLD ABOUT A2DP SETTINGS, BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONS, THAT IT'S POSSIBLE, BUT I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY ROM ALREADY RUNNING IT.
PLEASE, DEAR DEVELOPERS, BE SO KIND, SOLVE THIS PROBLEM IF IT'S POSSIBLE.
THANKS FOR ATTENTION.

Why is this so important for developers?
Cause..
Because it is important to users. Why do we need different phones, not smartphones for example, we use expensive phones (PDA) to not have such good and very usefull function?

oops damn wrong multitab firefox
back on topic, both roms on my signature works flawlessly with a2dp thank you!
A2DP has worked fine for AGES on the Hermes, most of the time its a poorly implemented headset that is the issue, check your bluetooth device to see if there is a firmware update etc...
AND PLEASE DONT POST IN CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!!
PDACorner ROMS actually work brilliantly with A2DP, probably the best of any ROM I've used with my Hermes. I never get any skipping and this is after hours of continuous play.
Hi So I used to have a touch HD (still do but selling) and have brought a TP2 (arriving soon) and I want to make good use of the keypad.
The first thing I want to do is play on some emulators what are some good options? I have narrowed it down to fpsece and morphgear, are they the best? any others?
Is there anything else cool the keypad gives me that I couldnt do before? I was thinking an app which allows me to connect to my pc/ps3 as a blutooth keyboard would come in very handy does this exist? If not can anyone point me in the right direction to make this myself - I know my way around C# and wm development but never done anything with bluetooth or emulating hardware.
Many thanks

Well there IS a WM app that will do that for both PS3 and PC, it's called MobileRemote1.1...but it seems that it's not working right on the TP2 as of yet. So, if you're skilled enough to fix that issue, there'd be some grateful people here I'm sure Info in THIS thread.
Now what you can use in the meantime, at least on your PC (no PS3 support yet) is an app called gremote, which gives all kinds of remote PC control options, over BT or wifi. Basic version is free, full version is paid. http://gbmsoftware.com/
Thanks for the info on the apps. If I can get some good info on making this type off app I will give it a go.

No prob, good luck! My name is on the list of those who would love to get a full BT keyboard profile on here for use with the PS3 etc
Hello,
I would like to have full Bluetooth support with the HTC Desire and other HTC Sense roms. I have tried the normal NDK hack where you install some so files and headers but all the functions return -1 . I have been trying to find a solution but on the web but nothing...
Then I tried to strace the settings app so that I can find a working kernel call but nothing! If someone wants to help me or just suggest ideas please reply. I believe many developers want this.
My ultimate goal is to connect to the WiiMote. Also I wonder if the opposite is possible: using the phone as a WiiMote to play Wii (the motion sensors are already there....)
Thank you very much
Fingers crossed this works out. Really want my controller working. good luck with this

I was just wondering if any more progress is gonna be made on HTC Sense devices. I know there were issues with the Bluetooth stack on those devices, but HTC has published the BlueZ source code for those devices on their developer website now.

Anybody ?
Hi to all.
I'm trying to help the android developers on b7610 (a side project of the porting on i8000) to make the wifi work.
The problem is that the phone in android is unable to load the wifi driver, so wifi (and also bluetooth) cannot be used.
Here on xda there are the best developers in the world so i want to ask if someone knows how to make it.
Thx to all the people who will answer.
Greetings from italy

Erik is working on that. And he's from modaco ;-P
HI votickest.
First of all thx a lot to you for all the work you are doing for i8000 cause your works sure help erickas in working for b7610.
I know that he is from modaco, but i feel a bit "guilty" just taking his work without helping, so i've decided to open this thread here on xda with the hope that somebody could help me in helping him.
If i can i really want to help him in his work but unfortunatly i have no linux skills so i have to search for helpers in the web.
I'm still hoping to find something useful for him.
Anyway votickest, do you know something about erickas efforts to make wifi works on b7610?
Do you know if he is close to the solution?
Thx in advance and once again greetings from italy

Haven't spoken with him last time (we both are busy). Just ask him.
BTW. We haven't found developers help neither here or modaco or elsewhere, so this thread will be rather useless...
I wish i could help, i really like to make things like these but unfortunatly i don't have the skill needed
good evening xda.
first of all, if this belongs into the DEV-section please move it, I can't post there yet cause I just registered.

My problem is as following:
OTG on an unlocked, rooted LT28h w/ fxp 214 (cm10) works just fine for mouse, HDD or keyboard.
now my question is how can one make a MIDI controller (not keyboard!) control apps like virtual dj on my device?
to be specific, I'm using a hercules mp3e2 controller for mobile use, and it would be GREAT if i could use it on my mobile.
the mp3e2 is being recognized as such device, but the apps i'd like to use with it don't understand it.
is it as easy as i hope (using some inbetween-app for translating the commands)
or as hard as i fear (need to modify the application i'd like to use itself) ?
