I'm no longer updating this! All of the new changes have been pushed to the atools version. L1q1d is going to be taking over from here on out so check out his thread HERE.
Here's an editor to select which settings you want for your nbh!
All this does is hex edit different things, including the cmdline info, like you could do with a hex editor. It's just a lot more user friendly.

What everything means:Device:
-Vogue: LINK
-Kaiser: LINK
-Polaris: LINK
Resolution:
-240x320: The native resolution on these devices. Will give the best overall picture quality.
-320x428: The smaller version of the 320x480 that fits our screens better.
-320x480: The native resolution for the G1 and most 1st gen Android devices. Things will fit better as they aren't scaled down, but everything will look blurry/squished.
Version:
-This is the Android version. Be careful not to get it mixed up with a user's release version. Most builds say either Donut, Eclair, or Froyo, but if not then you can install the system and look under Settings>About Phone and look under "Android Version"
-Donut: 1.6
-Eclair: 2.1
-Froyo: 2.2
Panel Type:
-Only Vogues have auto panel detection, so for Kaiser and Polaris users you will just have to pick one. If there's weird pixels, things don't look right, sleeping issues try a different panel.
Keyboard Types:
-Look HERE for more info if you don't know which keyboard type.
More Settings:
-ppp.nostart: If you set this to 1 it should prevent data from starting on boot. Helpful for some people but if you don't have to worry about data then leave it 0.
-CPU Overclock: This uses the same method that myn uses with Rogue Tools. Our CPU's are set to run at 400 MHz, but we can overclock them to over 500 MHz. I would suggest not going over 500 unless you know what you're doing, but some users have reported running at 550 just fine. It could decrease your device's life expectancy if using constantly, but probably won't notice for quite some time.
-System/Data Partitions: You can use this if running system or data off an EXT2 partition to use all of nand. Also helps when using an older Sense build that needed a larger system partition.
-Disable Vibrate on boot: Check THIS POST for more info on that.
-Battery Capacity: Self explanatory.

I've posted new a new version that should be compatible but when I change an NBH (Kaiser) to donut the hw3d.version becomes 01 and the "1" overwrites the space what should be after the "0". Setting an NBH to eclair seems to work though. Haven't tried the same with DZO's NBH though but the result should be the same.

Confirmed, seems to work now.
OK, so how easy was THAT?.. Thanks!
New version posted. Now just one program.
You still need to select the NBH for your device.
Excellent work dude, truly the most useful pre-install software, makes setting up everything so easy, intuitive to use too.
Hi Loserskater,
Thanks for your very good job and to help us to use much better our phone with android
Cheers.

That's something DZO will have to do... unfortunately you can't add things to the cmdline of the nbh or else it wont work right. it will have to be added to the source. If I can convince dzo to add it, I will add the option to change that value for other batteries. For now, you can try kallt_kaffe's nbh.
His also work with this editor

Scratch that. New update now includes ability to add default settings (like in kallt_kaffe's) for battery, clock, and ppp.nostart. I just flashed successfully but I haven't had much time to test.
Can now use either kaiser nbh or the vogue nbh.
Hi guys,
Sorry... I might have miss it.
Can someone explain what is the panel different?
I am using HTC Kaiser.
Thanks
Daniel
Re: Loser's NBH Editor v3.0
It just depends what panel you have. The only way to tell is by trying each one. If you get weird pixels then thats the wrong one. I havent found any difference between panel 2 and 3 though...
Apparently there are some differences in the way panel 2 and 3 handle power on, power off, there have been a few reports of white streaks on waking up the lcd by some users on panel 3 using panel 2 settings.
This is not definitive though, since panel3 seems to be pretty rare.
You could set other default settings, like panel2 (most used I guess), I never tried another panel. And eclair for the other default setting (most used nowadays I guess).
Maybe you can add comments (like use 1.7x radio and hardspl 3.34 before flashing and use kernel from...) to make it completly idiot proof (and have less questions here on the forums).
Great work anyway.

That's a good idea. I'll change those settings to the commonly used ones and maybe save settings on exit so you don't have to do it each time. And add more info in the actual program. Thanks for the input!
Probably will try with Panel 2. I am using the SD boot with Eclair right now.
Re: Loser's NBH Editor v3.1
What would be some things that people would like to see added to this? I was thinking about making it possible to change cpu and gpu OC settings. And maybe battery settings. Can anybody think of any other cmdline settings?
I don't have any suggestions, just wanted to say thanks for the great app. Very convenient.

Ok, flashed fine, I have 78.71mb or program memory after first boot, this ROM appears to be very fast, (although everything is stripped out). No more dial pad issues, everything seems great. Is there anything specific you want me to check?

nope, just wanted to make sure my XIP booted, looks like it does. thank you very much!
It should appear very fast I changed to 18mb pagepool, and the true 6.1 port seems to speed things up too.

Good to see you posting on the Vogue again. As always, I love your work. A few things to note:
- TouchFlo Icon stil showing up in Settings
- Cannot Adjust Backlight Settings (when clicking on Backlight screen will flash and nothing happens)
- If you try to activate the Cube, you will get an error on screen that will not go away without a soft reset (I know this is because of remaining registry entries for Biotouch) will post on this later
- Clicking on Device Information will just cause the animation cursor to go on and on (at least on my device) without ever loading any information.
All in all a good start. I know you don't have a Touch to test this on so I'm just trying to be an extra set of eyes. I appreciate your work so keep it up.

yes, but please leave my name in the aku reg key. (thats actually set in the xip now).
yes you can just grab os.nb.payload from ROM it contains the xip
my xip does not contain mencfilt.dll and uses boot_ms.rgu to remove encryption regkeys.

thanks. sounds like i need to move some stuff around in the kitchen. im hoping you all can help me with that i am trying to finish a couple carrier packages and ill post it.

thanks a lot.
EDIT: actually touchflo still seems to be functioning fine, but i am still obviously missing the cube. thanks.

also, just fyi, as long as you use the dpad, you can avoid the soft-reset. attempting to activate biotouch seems to merely disable the touch-screen until the error is dismissed.
idk if that means anything whatsoever but...at least it can some some ppl some time.
thanks a lot for your work dcd, real good to see you back with the vogue.
EDIT: also a bug, same as in your last test version of 6.1, the "power off" function does not seem to work. after holding the top power button, a small prompt comes up asking if you would like to shut down the device. the problem is that if "yes" is pressed, the device just hangs indefinitely with the little wm wait cursor spinning endlessly. thanks again.
ok. just outta curiosity, im going to upload another with biotouch, home, touchflo, and quickdial included. im curious if it fixes some of these problems- if so, i just need to move some files back into oemapps. link in a few.

its just tough figuring things out when i cant flash one and check so i have to go off of peoples results.
i was also thinking of including radio 1.59.10a for a while, what does everyone think?
1.59.10a has drastically improved my data speeds
cube/touchflo version is up in post 1. no radio included for now.
your updated version w/cube & tflo included works like a charm. Solves issue with the power button that another member discussed as well.
thanks for your work

Lol wow, I have no idea what that means. All i did was use prepit on your rom, and replaced it with no2chems base 107 rom. Will this cause any issues? I deleted everything but the rom folder, and used your rom as the "Input" rom. I apologize, Im still new
Hi and welcome to my ROM thread. This is RC2 (release candidate 2) of my Snap based ROM for the Excalibur (Dash, Dopod, etc).
The XIP (kernel) and SYS (main system files) are directly ported from HTC newest handset, the Snap.
This ROM includes only the stock applications for now (with the exception of a few things, like omapclockset and celetask) as it's meant to be a community based ROM where we can ALL work together, chip in and make suggestions to make the fastest and best ROM for the Excalibur.
To activate the weather panel, use the Activate Weather.cab in the "\My documents" folder on the phone and reboot.
The pagepool is set at 8 megs (up from the stock 4) for better speed and general "snappiness". You can lower it yourself by using the pagepool_changer application on the ROM's nbh file. I like mine at 8 and could care less about available RAM as long as the phone is fast and responsive
I will add more as more feedback is provided, but for now let's test this first release and see how it performs I hope you like it.

Added back Enterprise and VPN features
Added HTC Startup Sound
jogbar icon hidden now
IE6 is now in the ROM with lots more options to play with
Added SMS inbox threading to switch from classic/threaded under Tweaks

INSTRUCTIONS for flashing:
You can look at this great guide found here or you can follow my instructions below...
Hell, look at both to make sure you're doing this right!!
1. Run Auto.bat included in the archive. It should resent a black command prompt window.
2. Make sure you remove your storage card from the phone before the next steps.
3 .Follow the instructions in the black window. Do NOT reboot when the SDA unlocker tells you to reboot the phone. It's not necessary.
4. You might get a prompt asking you if you want to run the spl program. Just say yes. At that point you should get a white screen.
5. If for any reason you're not seeing a white screen, you did something wrong and you need to try again.
6. Flash the ROM following the instructions in the flashing utility.
You can expect the phone to be "stuck" on the green windows mobile screen for about 2 1/2 minutes the first time. After that, it should only take about 40-45 seconds for the phone to reboot.
INSTRUCTIONS for recovery in case something goes wrong:
Turn your phone completely off. While pushing the camera button, plug in your usb cable. The tricolor, bootloader screen will come up and you can flash your regular OEM ROM which can be downloaded from one of the stickies.
I recommend flashing the modified bootloader made by jockeyw2001. It's attached to the third post.
What it does is, it CID unlocks your phone, so you don't have to use the softSPL everytime you want to flash a ROM. It also makes recovery from a bad flash much easier, where you dont have to hunt for your original manufacturer's ROM to load in order to resurect the phone.

I recommend flashing the hacked bootloader attached to this post to make future flashings easier, as there will probably be many revisions to this ROM (depending on YOUR input).

Two questions... (1) what version of Java is it running, (2) does Innercircle work?
the transparency menu looks pretty slick!
Thanks a lot NRGZ28!!
For bringing a new life to S621!
Will test and report soon as I can...

Tnx for this rom NRGZ28!
Just one things:
1) How about the clock into top bar? (into left of battery when i go into options....);
2) Can u add a CHOME Slim?
Tnx in advance for the answer!
I will add those if I can find them anymore. Anybody got a cab for the am/pm version of clockontop ?
Hi NRGZ,
I've been using your ROM's for a while, this looks fine, a couple of issues,
1- No bluetooth
2- Wifi doesn't work, wifiinit is on the startup but once you try to activate it hangs in there
This if you use the connection manager on the panel if you go to the start menu and use the connection manager it works fine both of them
Thanks for your hard work
Enrique
Sadly I don't have an operable phone to test at the moment... to those of you who have flashed... how does it run compared to the Rose roms?
good
its real good but there is one thing you cant add my favs anymore like 1.7 and other thing that we could add before from chome?????
few minutes after first flash and look...
Looks really great Boot fast, seeking network fast, ROM fast as hell
Settings>Phone>Band select didn't work
Frozen when Menu>Contacts>Add contact, after remove battery works fine.
After change HTC Panel to Sliding panel and restart, change back to HTC Panel in 5 min...
BTW seems to be great ROM
My Regards
Great Work
This is by far the most asthetically pleasing rom i have used yet. i have to use my phone for business so have already flashed back for now but i cant wait for the final realease ha. as for bugs the only ones i found were that streaming media had no visual when playing and i could not get a data conection when trying to use opera mini but ie worked fine.Oh and also i could not use the NRG rinku cab either just fyi.

Yeah, there's no band select because this isn't a 3G phone, so there's no bands to select really. I will remove that option in the next version
Flashing now. I'll report with any issues that I find. Looks great though.
Since you're taking input... is there any chance you could include BaseHue, Resco Explorer and the SMSToolPack? The first two I use extensively, and the SMSToolPack would just be a "nice to have" since we all love flashing ROMs so much.
Also, does the HTC Sliding Panel homescreen pull the panel icons from bronzeres.dll?
On a sidenote, I actually took a look at your ROMs for the Raphael and was floored. I'm not surprised to see such an aesthetically pleasing ROM find it's way to our phones.

As mentioned in my sig., I don't mind appreciation.
Just mention your xda handle while filling in the donation form. Thanks to everybody who contributed.
Specific/Unique Features:
- Available localisations: English, Polish, Russian and Japanese.
DON'T ask about support for other languages; should need be, download any of the locale utils on the market
- JIT, A2DP, OpenGL
- The Tasty Bits:
I've been wondering about a few aspects of the android build system, and what I have found confirmed my suspicions;
In order to minimize build-system fragmentation, and what goes with it, maintenance, most of the code is built for compatibility instead of performance.
That is why I have tried what has, to my knowledge, never been done before on Hero-like devices (dream, sapphire, eris and the rest).
Some code breakage happened along the way, but that was to be expected.
Nethertheless, the new [email protected] is built with that specific spirit in mind. Be aware, that this is HIGHLY experimental, but the latest user tests confirmed that everything's good.
GIve it a spin and leave some feedback, if you find anything out (really) of the ordinary.
This is a peel-the-skin-feel-the-bones naked version of the regular [email protected] ROM (which is mainly geared for my personal use). Bug submissions and/or constructive criticism is appreciated, but DON'T bug me about missing features.
Custom kernel.
performance tweaks
native loopback support (along with crypto)
network fixes (wlan, bridging, *tables, tunneling, etc)
utf8 (have to rebuild system apps though...)
ext2, ext4 (be aware that journalling is overkill for a 528MHz CPU)
alsa
Power savings
and others...
Is it stable? It is enough for me.
Play, test, and help out.

>>>Make sure you have AT LEAST Radio version 6.35.09.26 (recommended: > 6.35.15.01 <) Click to download
>>> You might be the unlucky owner of a Hero unable to handle exotic freqs like 19 MHz/748 MHz. If such is the case, go back to recovery and flash > THIS < kernel.
RTFM:
- The ROM isn't signed most of the time. You can get by this issue by
1: installing the excellent > Clockwork Recovery <
How to install: # adb push recovery-clockwork-2.5.0.1-hero.img /cache/rec.img
# adb shell flash_image recovery /cache/rec.img
or
2: use the Engineering SPL
or
3: sign it yourself (google for autosign - you need to have android SDK installed)
- It WILL take quite a while to initialize after flashing (a few minutes).
- You MUST restart after the first boot (sys. init.), otherwise the system will work at a crawling pace, since all apps are running, due to being initialized at first boot. The cruising performance will be reached after you setup your system and restart.
You might experience problems signing in, in case you don't restart (or you can disable and re-enable mobile network).

Benchmarking (Linpack:Neocore):
Will try out tomorrow, nice to have another Dev here. Welcome!
Great to see u in this forum sir.... android is just so much better than winmo
Thanks for the ROM
Welcome to the Android world!
Great to see (another) big name from the WinMo section in here .
Will be trying out your stuff for sure!
Quick question (no, didn't try your ROM yet, still playing around to get MCR 2.9 working ok):
You removed all but en_US you say. Also the dictionaries for the HTC_IME? I want everything on my phone in english, except the messages that I type , so it would be a shame if those dictionaries were gone.
If they _are_ gone, can you explain me which files so I can try putting them back myself from a stock ROM / MCR ROM?
(Another one actually: Did you find it hard to dive into building ROMs and customizing for Android?
With years of Linux experience I thought it was the first thing I would be doing with my 1st Android device... but it seems I played around with WinMo builds, packages, NK.exe's, ROM/SYS's for so long I'm stuck in my ways . Didn't touch anything from the SDK yet except adb.exe and fastboot.exe to flash.).
@dipje:
1: Dictionaries are untouched.
2: Customizing is a much more pleasant experience than with WinMo.
As a matter of fact, I just got my Hero device, and need to build up an Android modding knowledge (Android-specific).
Linux-specific knowledge is not a problem, since I'm an admin.
I'll be taking care of different aspects of the ROM in the long run, rebuilding and optimizing bit by bit:
base apps, kernel (I find it pointless, most of the ROMs use quite a few init scripts - even in the initrd, instead of consolidating...)
I have an idea about installing debian (arm) on android, chrooting into that, and building the android system from there.
No need to setup cross-compile toolchains on our x86 PCs (try that if you've run into problems setting a toolchain on a host PC).
^.^
Though we'll be limited to 528Mhz and ram... But hey, if you've got a big sdcard, just setup a big swap on it.
;]
Apart from that, we can have a nearly full blown linux distro running at all times on the Hero (which would negatively impact battery life, but hey, it's just for the fun)
An ad-hoc wifi would be setup at all times, + sshd (along with vnc?)
So we can always X-forward our display or whatver.
The ideas an possibilities are endless.
Hi,
will definitely try your ROM. Glad to have you here! Good Luck!

I've searched for it, and looks like it is.
Looks like the repo I was using included some warez.
Will be removed and I'll add another task manager.
Thanks for the info.

Sorry, missed that message!
To get odex from APKs, you use dexopt-wrapper.
To put odex back into APKs, you use the smali project - http://code.google.com/p/smali/.

Hey Paul.
I was a bit surprised at the lack of feedback, but thanks.
;]
Updates:
1: added a few screenshots of the new wip build (not yet uploaded)
2: replaced Advanced Task Manager by the quite good tasKiller
3: recompiled kernel; a few kinks to iron out, like adding the wlan module and splash, but other than that, it's fast.
Added support for a few more fs (like ext4)
Here's what you get:
sysfs
rootfs
bdev
proc
debugfs
sockfs
pipefs
anon_inodefs
oprofilefs
tmpfs
inotifyfs
configfs
devpts
ext3
ext4dev
ext2
cramfs
ramfs
msdos
vfat
iso9660
nfs
nfs4
cifs
udf
yaffs
yaffs2
rpc_pipefs
Added a few network features like net bridging, proper unicode support (though it has to be configured in the os itself; didn't check if the system libraries have utf support)
raid also was added (in case someone wants to play with ROL/RON - Raid Over Lan)
The new kernel will be available with a new [email protected] build.
Yees, glad to see another great rom cooker for HTC HERO community. Really a good news.
Good luck
silly question
Why does the firmware version say 2.0
Please, upload somewhere else.
Thanks adwinp,
Downloading now. I will run it for a while and feedback to you my comments.
So far everything looks to be working well after upgrading from MDC 2.9 without a wipe.
Not sure I like the transparent lock screen. I tend to use the default HTC scene with with the 4 icons along the bottom of the screen. When locked, the text on the icons can be seen and makes things looked a little confused.

Myn, thank you so much for your effort! I've been paying attention to your Vogue's thread for a long time. I really love to try the RLS4 but couldn't find the androidinstall.tar file, the one you referrenced to another thread is still the old RLS3, I know you updated the sqsh file to RLS4, but I want to install it by NAND, so could you tell me where to get the RLS4 install.tar file? Thank you so much again.

Here you go:
Installation:
NoMoRootFS Instructions for SDCard:
Download either the 320x480 or 240x320 version
Backup! than, clear whatever "android" stuff you have from sdcard (I dont want it to get caught up in the install) especially your andboot folder
Extract contents of downloaded zip to temporary directory
Copy extracted /andboot folder to the ROOT of your SDCard
Run HaRET, than hit “run” to launch android
Press and hold center of dpad after hitting "run" and follow the directions in the NoMoRootFs menu system
NoMoRootFS Instructions for NAND:
Download either the 320x480 or 240x320 version
Extract contents of downloaded zip to temporary directory
Using the androidinstall.tar file follow the directions here
Classic SQSH method:
Download SQSH package
Backup! than, clear whatever "android" stuff you have from sdcard (I dont want it to get caught up in the install) especially your android folder
Extract contents of downloaded zip to temporary directory
Copy extracted /Android folder to the ROOT of your SDCard
Run HaRET, than hit “run” to launch android
Those screen shots are sexy, but how does it work or better yet what does? I don't understand how to get this installed into NAND.
Radio problems
I installed android and it moves fast. Quite impressed. The problem I see is the radio. I was not able to hear anything when placing calls. Also I configured the APN and it doesn't connect.
Could be a problem with my radio version. There is one recommended?
Regards
Candin
Great build Myn. Thanks for the hardwork Myn and all devs. I've been using it on my Kaiser for the last month or so.
Here's a quick summary of what works and doesn't work for me:
AT&T Tilt / 1.71.09 Radio
installed to NAND:
Latest NBH from here: http://ponack.net/poly/BT_Update/index.php?folder=S2Fpc2VyX05CSHM=
Myn's RLS 4
Wifi-update
Works:
Normal Sleep/Suspend
Calls/TXT
3G Data
Wifi
Kinda works:
Camera: works but really dark / yellow
Speakerphone: works but volume very quiet
Bluetooth: A2DP works but drop out after a few minutes, haven't tried hand free yet
GPS: works but lost signal and locks up often required reset
Overall the experience is very nice, just waiting to get all the hardware issues iron out

Power button to turn on from standby is the correct way of doing it. ANY button to wake from standby means that the device is not properly sleeping and will drain the battery much faster.
Thanks for this build
It is fast and stable but the wifi is not working (installed on SD Card haret)
appreciate your help in fixing the wifi
Hi Myn, this looks pretty cool, and I'm interested in possibly installing it to NAND. Can you recommend a particular Kaiser HardSPL and radio for maximum stability? I'm using jockyw2001 3.29 and At&t radio 1.65.21.18 now.

Try one of these for working Wifi. If you are using the 480 resolution then take the 150 version.

I have been using RL4 installed to NAND for about 2 weeks. My specifics are:
AT&T Tilt (Kais100) / 1.71.09 Radio
HardSPL 3.29 (I tried others but this base one works best for me)
Kaisimg-panel2-428-tilt-18-03-10.nbh from Dzo' site
I have most things working and working well.
- Phone works great, auto switches between 2G and 3G based on signal. This is great since my office has terrible coverage.
- Data works fine.
- Camera works but focus is manual and colors are a bit off (At least I think, I am color blind)
- Wifi works and is stable.
- Bluetooth works for phone and stereo on my Motorola T505. But after about 10 minutes the stereo stops working. A reset of the Bluetooth fixes this. Dzo seems to have a fix, waiting for a release from him for the Kaiser.
I hope this helps.

It is hard to say, I keep flashing and trying new things so my battery goes quick. But yesterday I made it through a whole day at work with bad reception and my battery was at 75%. This is a good day for Android so this versions battery usage is pretty good.
Hi,
I want to install Android on my HTC Touch Pro and I want to also do that Dual Boot program. Problem is that I can't get android to work.
I downloaded Android, and it is not installing well. After I boot, the top bar of the Android comes, but it seems all grainy, and my mobile restarts :/ I tried changing to a different RAPH startup.txt, but it just crashes in the middle -.-
Pics: (sorry, they are HUGE)

Any ideas anybody?!
Don't try changing to a different startup.txt! Make sure you're using the right file for your phone model. You could also try simply redownloading XDANDROID.
Which RAPH do you have?
Perhaps you need to read the FAQ.
Also, 1) don't take huge pics and post them to a thread - resize them and provide links if anything, although the pics seem useless TBH. 2) post in the build thread, don't create a new thread. Thanks.
@Ben_duder
I downloaded so many lol
@arrrgh
Thanks for that FAQ page, I know I have a RAPH100 now
1. Didn't notice how big they were until I posted them
2. Link to thread pls
Thanks for the help till now every1
EDIT: My download doesn't have RAPH100, but RAPH, RAPH500 and RAPH800 -.-
Is RAPH equivilant to RAPH100?
EDIT2: Ok, so i finally got a RAPH100 one, and it was installing. The last message was 'mp_dma : busy'
It kept on going after a bit, until screen calibration, i didn't even have the time to calibrate, as it kept on going.
Only to get 'stuck' on mp_dma : busy...again
Whilst writing this, it started again....only to get 'stuck'.....AGAIN...on mp_dma : busy....AGAIN!!
Is it normally like that? Does this site have live shat or smthn? Or can some1 PM their MSN/Skype so I can have 'live help' lol
Yes, it is "normal". What shouldn't be normal is the fact that you can't find the RAPH100 startup in the full bundle from THIS thread(for FroYo) or THIS thread (for Gingerbread). Keep in mind, FroYo is more complete and Gingerbread is still in alpha stages even though it seems more "stable" than FroYo.
Additionally, if you just want to be able to boot, the magic number we are looking for is 10 minutes. However, if you aren't getting to the XDAndroid boot animation, this might mean you aren't doing something right. Also, you'll need to grab the ts-calibration file for your device from either thread and put it in the same folder as haret
Hmm, I seem to have got it to work. It look me around 10 minutes to complete It seems ok (I downloaded the new XDAndroid from the official Wiki page). All works fine, incl. camera and Wi-Fi.
Now, I want to do the dual Boot thing. I have the exe downloaded, but now its a new set of CAB and EXT files. I'm going to opt for what seemes to be the newer version (v 1.0.6.0) but when i extract that and open a the file, I get 5 new files
Gen.Y DualBOOT QVGA v1.0.6.0 - Storage Card.cab
Gen.Y DualBOOT VGA v1.0.6.0 - Internal Storage.cab
Gen.Y DualBOOT VGA v1.0.6.0 - Storage Card.cab
Gen.Y DualBOOT WQVGA v1.0.6.0 - Storage Card.cab
Gen.Y DualBOOT WVGA v1.0.6.0 - Storage Card.cab
no idea what to do next.
If you have a RAPH100 use Gen.Y DualBOOT VGA v1.0.6.0 - Storage Card.cab. If you have a DIAM100 use Gen.Y DualBOOT VGA v1.0.6.0 - Internal Storage.cab
NOTE/hint
One installs to internal storage/soldered microSD and the other installs to the storage card/microSD

Yeh i'll do that.
And I understood the Internal Storage and Storage card bit.
Also, I seem to get A LOT of lag when I play a game, is it normal? Probs coz the phone ain't too power full maybe
I did it, and it works well, it just tells me Android missing :S :S
Is haret in anything other than the root of the microSD? If not, it won't pick it up. There is a trick to get it to recognize the build in something other than the root of the microSD but you'll need to check in that thread where you got the dualboot program.
Yea the dualboot program is really a WinMo issue. You need to set the registry entry for it to work correctly.
But since it's not an Android or even an XDAndroid issue, I'd prefer you to post Gen.Y related questions in the correct section of the forum. Thanks.
@R^7Z
Haret is in Storage Card/bootand. And I forgot where I got the dualboot program though lol.
@arrrghhh
First of all, I'll thank you yest, as I'm restricted to 5 per day.
Also, link to where I can find this thread/section.
Thanks for all the help guys
In short if you want to use that program, you will need to visit the thread where you got the dualboot program from OR push everything up a level. In other words, cut and paste everything under the andboot folder to the root of the microSD and it should work like a charm, my friend!

What was the reason they told us to do an andboot folder then?
Well aside from "organization", not much else
I honestly only run one build because it is my preference to do so. Most who know what they are doing (or at least more than I do), use the rel_path=andboot option. "6 one way, half a dozen the other" is what I say.

Well, apart from the fact that I understood NOTHING from that previous post, I want to say that it worked like a charm I cut all the files in the andbooot file to the right place, and what do you know, it worked!
I have a tiny thing to ask you guys Its laggy, and I mean VERY laggy. When i play games, like Angry Birds and such, it jumps, makes it tedious and not really fun to use. I do understand that my phone wasn't built for Android, and that Android needs higher system specs then Win Mobile (it also lags a bit on Win Mobile LOL) but maybe there is a fix to that.
When I check phone settings, it says I'm running Android version 2.2.2, which I think is the latest version, so maybe going to a previous version will make it better. I'm ready to take a small downgrade, only if I will still be able to use all my stuff (3G, camera, wi-fi etc.) I'm hoping to make Android my permanent OS, but with it being this laggy, I'd rather not.
Any ideas
