Well if your Exchange server doesn't support Direct Push then try Active Sync schedule.

Open ActiveSync, under 'menu' you have all the options to configure your Exchange account here. You'll also see the Schedule option. For push email to work, you need to set the schedule to 'As items arrive' - or if this isn't available you can set your schedule times instead.
I did a search for the following criteria "download FULL messages", and nothing was returned that satisfied my question.
I have looked everywhere on the tmo-dash and cannot see a way to download Full email messages. For me, its a bother to read a few sentences and then request download of the rest of the message for every single message I receive. Generally, my individual emails are not more that a few hundred kb's anyway. Also, there is no way to view msg size in the email display. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
Directions
For WM 6:
from messaging, highlight the account.
then:
Menu>settings>Next (until you get to the message format page)> choose "entire message" from the second option which is "message Download limit"

Thanks for your reply. I am using my corporate Exchange server 2003, and when I click MENU the settings option is greyed out.??
I do not use an exchange server, so I do not have any experience with that. For other types of accounts (imap and pop), you cannot access the settings while you are send/receiving. I suppose that if there is a way to stop the account from updating, you could change it that way (maybe?)
its an option in activestink. tools.options. select the email under the exchange account, press settings. its obvious from there...

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the Vista WMDC looks like this. I do not even have the opportunity to select and/or highlight the exchange email in order to change the settings.

HI
I have a question about the synchronizing emails from outlook.
well normally I use wifi or edge to download my email from my HD, but then when I synchronize it with my computer download again the same emails but put them in the outlook folders, is there any way to avoid this? I mean if I already have the email then activesync should not downloaded again from outlook right?

from what you describe i'm going to assume a few things, one of which is that you DO NOT use Exchange for your mail, in this case WinMo thinks your mail is from different sources/accounts, no way around that, that's how it is.
consider disabling ActiveSync for Outlook Mail.
connect your device
open ActiveSync on the PC
go to tools > options
uncheck "E-mail"
click ok
let it sync
when satisfied delete the Outlook mail from your Device
mm, thanks for your advice, and yes I use POP3 accounts, and the idea is to download the email from my phone when I'm on the go, but use activesync when I'm in my house because it's free ,
ActiveSync gives your phone a free internet connection through you PC. your POP mail will be downloadded for free using the ActiveSync connection!
you can also make ActiveSync disallow the phone to use EDGE/3G
open ActiveSync > File > Connection Setting
UN-check "Allow Wireless connection on device when connected to the desktop"
Hello.
I'm having problems to configure my hotmail account after flashing with official wm6.5 (Portuguese version). Every time I try to create my hotmail account, after entering my username and pass, I press next and then the opera browser opens in my email account, but in the phone nothing at all.
Does anybody know how to fix this?
You should set up via Windows Live. Don't do it via the messaging app or the HTC email wizard. If you're missing Windows Live, you can get it in the Marketplace.

I've tried that, but I don't really know how to do it... I access my windows live account but there's any option to set up the email account in the phone! If it's not asking for too much, could you please tell me how can I do it?

Windows Live is an application. When you first start it up, you will be guided through a brief setup process where you enter in your details. At one point, you can select whether you want to sync your email.
If you don’t have the app or it doesn’t ask you about your email, grab the latest Windows Live app from Marketplace.
An alternative is to configure your email account setup manually using Hotmail's POP3 access server settings:

Finnaly it worked... I hadn't select the "sync email" option on the first time and that was why it wasn't working...
Thank you very mutch for your help!
If you all haven't noticed by now, you are greeted by a nice "Your browser isn't supported" message when trying to add a Gmail account in the Mail app by using the Google option after a hard reset or a first time use. Fear not, a simple workaround exists.. Upon inspecting my Gmail settings on my Windows 10 machine, I noticed that it simply adds the account by setting it up as IMAP.
I tried the following and it worked flawlessly on my phone:
Open the Account settings in the Mail app
When you see the "Choose an account" menu, click "Other account" which is right above Advanced setup
Enter your full gmail email address and password. IF YOU HAVE 2-FACTOR AUTH ENABLED, YOU MUST CREATE AN APPLICATION PASSWORD AND USE THAT INSTEAD
From there you should start getting e-mail
There are a few caveats to this approach though. It seems that this method will ONLY allow you to sync Email.. No Calendar or contacts (If someone figures out some voodoo to make that happen, I will update the OP).
Thanks Google.

The Outlook app should send the correct User-Agent, it's a simple fix from Microsoft.
Till then
To add your Google account on your Lumia 950, please follow the steps below:
01. Go to "Settings".
02. Tap on "Accounts".
03. Tap on "Your email and accounts".
04. Tap "Add an account".
05. Tap "Other accounts POP, IMAP".
06. Enter your Email address and Password.
07. Tap the Sign in button.
08. Once you're signed in Open the Edge browser.
09. Visit gmail.com and log in to your Google account.
10. Open the message with the subject "Blocked sign-in attempt for security reasons"
11. Tap on the Allow Access button.
12. You will be forwarded to the Google security setting page. "Under the Access for less secure apps", select "Turn on".
Wait for the settings on the phone to update, and your Google account will work on your phone.

I've had the enable security for less secure apps enabled for a few years now (as that's why I don't get the e-mail message). That won't work for me. From looking at the post, it looks like it's doing the same exact thing I'm doing... Adding a Gmail account using IMAP.
I don't use Gmail, and no one should because Outlook.com is way better, but you could try adding the account using Advanced setup and Google's setting from Step 2: Set up your client https://support.google.com/mail/troubleshooter/1668960?hl=en

-_-
Realize, that this STILL puts us at the same exact steps to add Gmail using IMAP.
Set my mail as IMAP too... for now, until google decides to fix authentication.
Until then no calendar, and bookmarks.
I exported google contacts to outlook contacts. I can check my calendar on my nexus 7, but I am writing new events to outlook calendar. and for bookmarks I don't know why I can't import bookmarks from chrome to edge on windows 10 pc to sync them between pc and mobile
Also heard some people using iCloud to sync their data from google servers to windows mobile

Yes, but there might be a difference in the server settings.
