Hi all, just wondering if anyone here has sucessfully replaced the digitalizer only on their TP2. I searched around but not alot of people that have done it sucessfully. Ive got at&t version and wanted to replace the touchscreen and the bezile which they have on ebay for around $35. Any help would be much apriciated.

I've been using an MDA III for around a year now but i recently smashed the screen and i was forced to get a new one. I have now purchased a new one and the touchscreen doesnt work. I've had a look at it and i cant see anything at all wrong with the digitalizer. Therefore i'm wondering wether it could be a software issue.
If it was a software issue does any one have any idea on how i could go round repairing this.
Or how i could go around have a new touch screen fitted.
Get back to me if you have any information on this at all.

My screen is broken beyond repair.
I have seen on here that others have also broken their screens, and suggested places to get them fixed / order new screens. How have you got on? Where dd you get your screen from, for how much, and did it all work ok??
Also is the xda Orbit a G1 screen or a toppoly (read it on eBay).
Any help much appreciated.

i manage 30 HTC 3300 and one of my user broke his screen, i bought a new one on ebay (~40€) (search "Artemis LCD") from HongKong and change the screen his less one hour (search the forum, tutorial exist)

Is there anybody that has a video, photo guide or manual on how to replace the Desire digitizer??
A friend of mine broke her screen (just the digitizer) and I bought a new one through ebay. I wanted to surpise her, but by replacing it, but that would work better if I knew how to....
Anybody able to help?
I found numerous guides on all other HTC models, but I suppose the Desire is still too new and not enough people have busted their screen... :S
Hi, I have a TP2 with a broken digitizer. Dropped it a couple days ago and it's spiderweb cracked across the whole screen. The LCD work just fine, as I can still see everything clearly(except for the tiny cracks) but I can't use the touch screen, which maybe one of the most annoying things I have ever delt with. I wanted to know if anyone on this forum has any kind of digitizer replacement guide for TP2, and even better a video on it. Also, if anyone was interested in repair work for payment via paypal, I would be interested in talking to you. I could provide you with the phone(of course) and the replacement digitizer, along with the S&H on the phone for both ways. I havent found much on the subject anywhere else, and I have always found this site very useful dating back to my first HTC Wizard. I appreciate any help you have to give.

Any luck ? I thought it would be easier for you to get it fixed at USA.
It is quite difficult to get digitizers in India for TP2 . Only if I can get hold of a digitizer I could have fixed it for you for no extra cost.

Hi guys, new to the forum.
I've replaced the digitizer on my galaxy w, after the old one broke, with a cheap one from ebay.
Its now either hyper sensitive or not sensitive enough, i've read through this thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1976299&highlight=digitizer ) and flashed the zip mentioned in there but it still basically renders the phone unusable.
Is there anything else i can do to fix this problem? Or can anybody recommend a better supplier for digitizers?
Running cm9 if this makes a difference.
