more page in today screen ?

It is possible to have more than 7 page in today screen ? i would like to have 9 or 11..

I don't know of any way to do that (it would kind of muck up the zoomed-out overview) but you can have multiple scenes, each with a different set of seven screens. Or, on a rooted phone, you can use something other than the Sense UI.

how do you mean "Multiple Scenes" ?

Hi! Why don't you try using folders on any one of those 7 screens. However Folders may contain just shortcuts to the apps, not widgets. Is that your point?

A "scene" is simply a set of 7 screens. You can have one set for work, another for play, etc. For me, I think of it in terms of what "mode" I'm in. When I'm at work I need a different set of applications to hand compared to when I'm at home. (Network applications, calculator, satnav, Exchange widgets for work, and games, podcast apps, news reader for home. Or is it the other way around?!)

[Q] "HTC News" stopped working

On my Desire Z i have a HTC Widget called "HTC News" which i use a lot to get my news.
However the 17th of December at 1:48PM this widget/app decided to stop working.
I havent received any news since this time. If i tap update in the htc news app it just dosnt get anything, like there haven't been any news since that day. The Apps settings is set to update everytime the app open up and every 30 minuttes. If i do a sync it dosnt get anything either.
If i however add some new RSS it is working inside the app but not on the widget. The widget just loads forever..
I know the RSS links are correct as they work on my Google Reader which they've been importet from. They have also worked for about two weeks before this startet happening.
Anybody else experiencing something like it? Or even better - knows a solution to it?

Yeah -- I think its just not that well-written of an app/widget.
I tried reinstalling, and likewise it still refused to update. then I tried clearing out the user data -- now when I add the widget it just goes to the Subscription window and sits on Loading.... forever.
Removed and now I'm using the android "news and weather" widget.

How can I Install Gtalk or Pidgin messenger like in ubuntu linux on my HTC Desire HD. I am using Ubuntu right now it have Pidgin messenger where I can signin to any of my account hotmail, yahoo, gtalk.
Is there any application that I can install my HTC Desire HD? I want to signin my gtalk specially.

It comes with google talk. If you want to log into multiple accounts at once there are a few apps on the market which can do this. I use imo.im instant messenger.

Is gtalk available for my HTC desire HD? I don't trust third parties like Nimbuzz or ebuddy.

Yes, the app comes preinstalled and it's called Talk.

Close Applications?
Hi Guys,
New to my HTC Desire HD. I opened some applications but they are showing on the top if I drag it down also my battery were half used in night when I was sleeping sure due to open applications. How can I close all the applications and make my phone on rest. Also how can I delete the short cuts from the desktop?

The apps are probably fine unless is one of them is a rogue battery eater. Your problem is more likely to be that the battery hasn't correctly calibrated yet. It's common for the battery to be bad when you first get your phone.

how can I resolve this issue how can i close all applications because bluetooth is off but still big sign on left of screen appearing.

When you pull down the notification bar you see a list of recently used apps, but they're not necessarily running.
Bluetooth will only be on if you have a little icon at the top near the wifi / 3G battery icons. If this icon isn't there then it's off (check in settings if you must).
To close all apps hold the power button until you get the power menu and then select "Restart". This will close all apps and restart the phone. You shouldn't really have to do this very often though.
To answer your other question - To remove desktop shortcuts, press and hold the icon until it lets you move it around and then drag in down to the launcher dock where you will see a trash can icon. This doesn't uninstall the app / shortcut, only removes it from that screen

Masters: How to rename file extensions?
Please help.....Does anyone know how to rename such file extension inside Desire HD? I would like to rename an extension of a file by manipulating it on the Desire HD. I have Dos application installed and could manage to get inside each folder but when I check for file it suddenly crash and have to close the application. Any knowledgeable Senior member please help.

Weather Location

I can only think that this is linked to my gmail account somehow as I shall explain now.
Before my DHD I had an iPhone and lived in a place called Corsham, I since moved to Lincoln which is 150 miles away, my DHD has never been to Corsham and yet it keeps defaulting to Corsham for my location under the sense clock for the weather. Why would this be when this phone has never been there!

I don't know if there's a solution anywhere, but one thing I know worked for me:
click the weather to go into the full-mode, then click the menu button, and "delete". Delete all the locations set in here. Get back out, then delete the clock on your home screen (long press, move it to "Remove" [sorry, you probably know that]), and then long press, add widget, select that clock again. Select "Current location".
I know that worked for me, but I don't know why, so I can't promise it will solve your issue. Good luck!

[HELP!] Conditions and temp showing as "Unknown" and "??"

I have been using Zooper pro forever now and I made the widget shown in this photo a few months ago and it worked fine, all of the data was shown including the current condition and temp, but for some reason or another it just shows "unknown" for the condition and "??" for the temp.
I have done everything I can think of to fix this issue, including changing the weather provider, checking my location settings and making sure they were set to GPS, wifi and cellular data and I've even gone so far as uninstalling and reinstalling Zooper to try to fix this.
Anyone know what would cause this and how to fix it?

I thought its broken, because i really often change and test different Roms.
i changed weather provider in Zooper Settings from yahoo to Yr.no including update weather information and that works on me.
Tried to change back, but yahoo and openweather dont work on me... So now i use Yr.no and it works

Having problems here too for adding a new location. Each time I use the search, it just shows up 'not found' , even the larger cities. Can't seem to get it to work anymore on all of the services, yahoo, open weather nor yr.no. The location I had set up though, seems to work fine.
Does anyone know if this is going to be updated? From my understanding yahoo is not available anymore, but i had been using open weather, which worked just fine for me.
btw - I'm getting a timeout error on openweathermap.org, maybe that has something to do with it?

The only provider that even kind of works for me is yr.no, but when I selected that provider it showed the current condition as "Tornado", so I don't think it's accurate at all.

I found this on the zooper website. It just says to try other weather providers and if that doesn't work to wait for upcoming updates. How long should we wait? The app hasn't been updated in over a year (March 12, 2015)

Strange thing here though. It seems that on my tablet, i can still add new locations. I have no idea why and why not on my phone.

Well, I just upgraded my phone to Android 6.0 and now it's working for the default weather provider. Weird.

Does Zooper need all location methods to be tuned on to work, like GPS, WiFi and Mobile Networks?
I alaways use location: GPS only, because of battery saving, but this can not be done and have Zooper widget working?
For me it looks like I need to use all, but why is this?

The Developers have stopped updates for the app and it is a problem at their end, if you paid for the app, you can request a refund as it is faulty and not what you paid for.

I have recently noticed that when I set location in Zooper widget, only Yr.no works now for weather information. It's not often I choose a widget with weather info and location but today I did. Before I used to use Open Weather map and the weather used to show up fine for the given location. Now it only shows "Unknown" and "??". The same applies for Yahoo!
I'm guessing it's because I'm using a newer phone than previously and it's not supported. Plus the fact that Zooper isn't get updated by the developers.

Hey,friendss I just solve the problem if u r also facing the issue of weather unknown and temp. ? Then change youe weather provider,i had change it to yr.no and within a second problem had solved .

Except that yr.no is always showing I'm having a tornado lol

Thank you for the OP on this thread - found a solution to my issue by changing provider to yr.no.

Have the same problem & been having this problem 4 a while now... Sucks bc it's made me abandonen zooper all together switching to KWGT... I can also get the weather to show with yr.no BUT it dosent display the correct info. I can also add a location but it dosent save it... it also has some location already in there like India or some **** says it's 89° & sunny right now... I live in Cali & it's about 45° and 45min to 12am... LoL

Problem with "Tornado" fixed
Good news guys, I found a solution in German Forum how to replace the Word "Tornado" with actual weather conditions.

If you want to get rid the word "Tornado" simply edit the Text and adjust the german words in your language (with google translate) and it will show the actual weather conditions!
