Link market with secondary gmail. - Desire General

Hi,
I believe apps are linked to email address(and associated google checkout). Can I use my secondary email account(and thus checkout account) to buy apps or does it have to be the primary email address?

Google Calendar attachments linking

Now that it is possible to link attachments from Google Docs to an item in Google calendar (well, I've just found out how to do it) it would be really good if these links could be linked to the calendar on my TP2. Not necessarily copying the attachment, just the link to it
Does anyone know if it is possible with the default calendar, or even a replacement one?

[Q] Andriod 4.2.2 stock email: text sync only

Hi,
In HTC's email application for Exchange, I can configure the client to download Only Text (i.e. disable HTML sync).
Is it possible in the stock email app?
Reason I want to do this is that is reduces data consumption.
Thanks,
Vsk.

No, it is not, but you can download an email app from the Play Store that has that feature. I'm sure there has to be at least one.

[Q] How to send email with attachment larger than 5 mb?

I'm using the stock android email app for my outlook account. I need to send some pictures to a frined of mine. I can only send 2 pictures at a time because theres an attachment limit of 5 mb. IIRC, Outlook has a limit of either 10 or 25mb per mail.
How can i fix this? I dont want to use another email app because i like the layout of this one
Thanks in advance!
Attachment Limits
Usually both parties have to have an email account that allows for the email attachment limit. In other words, if you have gmail (25MB limit) and your friend has yahoo (20MB) limit, I believe) then you can't send him a 23MB email even though gmail would allow you. So check both your limit and your friends limit. Also, there are a lot of other factors that play into email size besides just the attachment. For example, yahoo's email limit is 20MB but I've heard people say they can't send more than around 16MB because of other things that are included in the email.
My advice: Upload all your pictures to dropbox/gmail/skydrive/"insert favorite cloud storage". Then just send him a link to that folder in an email. He can download as many as he wants. This would let you keep the email app that you already like.
listen to drewmey's advice with cloud services or switch, like i did, to solmail/cloudmagic email apps. i had the same problem with gmail app.

EMail app that can sync calendar && contacts ?

Hello mates!
I am looking for an email client that is able to: work well with gmail and exchange, and that is able to sync gmail calendar && contacts as well as exchange calendar && contatcs
any ideas?
Thanks for your thoutghs
UPDATE:
I found (via 1mobile and/or blackmart) this free email client named EMoze, it does let you manage gmail && exchange along with calendars and contacts.
Personally, i dont like the look and feel much, but hell! its free and gets stuff done, so it easily gets 4 starts.
If you guys know any other client, i would like to know!
Realistically, I separate Exchange from everything else, as Exchange = Business stuff. I have used Touchdown for Exchange going way back with great success. but it only works with Exchange.
For anything else, I use K-9 Mail and for Gmail the Gmail app.
Yes they are not combined, but I really don't want them as I like to keep the different worlds different. You can use K-9 for gmail aco****s which I do, but for my primary device linked gmail account I just keep that in the gmail account.

Hey there @krelvinaz !
thanks for your thoughts, indeed K-9/[email protected] is way up there in some reviews i found online, ill see if i give touchdown a shot later on; thanks for posting mate! :highfive:
Have you tried Replicon for the same. If not I would like you to give it a try so as to know the difference and the purpose of the same in managing the tasks as well as syncing with the stuffs that you have mentioned. Give it a try, I am sure it will work out good enough for you.
Enhanced Email can do all your email. You can customize the colour for each account and create your own theme. I have been using for several years.
