Looking through the online WPM I don't see one. My mistake? Or any word from the Dropbox team?
(Yes. I know. Skydrive. No, I don't have a WP right now to search myself. Nokia refuses to give me a 900. I dearly, dearly want a 900.)
No, there isn't one yet.

I have downloaded and sideloaded the App called "Kickbox"
Its been reviewed on wmpoweruser.com and if i may say so its a very sweet app!
Video Kickbox from wmpoweruser
costs €3.99
You can do anything on the app like you can on dropbox.com.
Open / read / download from it / upload to it / make changes and you even see the space you used on your dropbox.
600 MB additional free storage
Hi all
Just found a smart way to increase your Dropbox account with 600 MB:
1 Sign into your existing Dropbox account (or create a new account)
2 Goto https://www.dropbox.com/free
3 Follow instructions ... and voila 600 MB additional free storage
The only thing i use dropbox for on my phone is my ereader. Since i use Freda, it has dropbox support built right in. no client needed.
Since files on windows phone are sandboxed... is there really a need for a dropbox only app? Just curious what you all are doing with the apps.
For anyone that hasn't been able to get in on the 50GB giveaways from Box.net, they are now offering anyone who downloads their Android app and signs up in the next month 50GBs of cloud storage.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/02/23/box-for-android-receives-update-offers-all-android-users-50gb-of-free-cloud-storage/
The only drawback is that uploads are limited to 100MB.

Thanks Brian, it worked.
Worked for me. Thanks!
Worked for me as well! 50gb lifetime on my account
Good looking out, thanks!
Nice find... thank you!
just got mine too, now what to do with all this space, can i backup my entire phone to it somehow?
Thank you very much for the info, I will take an extra 50 GB any time +1
very nice!!!
Good looking out!
The 100MB file size limit is very disappointing and I hope they change it in the near future. What's stunning is that the earlier version of this promotion, with the HP TouchPad for example, 50GB accounts also came with a 1GB file size limit. I can confirm this because I have since commandeered my friend's account with those limits.
There was also a way to to get 50GB under the LG Android promotion (we just edited build.prop, which is what the box.net app checked), but that too came with the 100MB limit.
It's great to have 50GB lifetime storage for free, but I really wish they upped the limit to >300MB. I find myself using my Dropbox (24GB storage, 300MB limit via mobile, unlimited file size via desktop). Write to BOX and ask for bigger limit, or post in their forums!
Sweet i'll take 50, thank you
Phonearena pointed me in that direction but still got it. Good lookn out

Too bad they want you to pay to use their file sync program. Guess I'll be sticking with dropbox. Thanks for the link though.

Yes, I appreciate 50GB free storage, but without sync it is pretty useless. The point for me of having cloud storage is to backup my computer and have access to all my files in the cloud from my portable devices and to keep the files in sync from all these devices. I certainly don't need 50GB of storage to upload a few files from my phone. So will keep using dropbox, until I can figure away to sync.
Hate to sound ungrateful, it just is not that useful at this point.
I use Sky drive a lot more than dropbox since I have Windows 8 the intergration is good. Today they are offering a free upgrade to 25GB of Cloud storage. Just login to Skydrive select Claim your 25 GB and click on Free Upgrade. Done

Don't all wp7 owners get 25 Gb anyway. Thought that was normal or am I missing something?
Sent from my Radar 4G using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
Well yeah the title is a little bit misleading.
SkyDrive used to offer 25GB for every user for free, but today they decreased that to only 7GB because over 99% use less than 7GB (and that is still more than Dropbox offers).
However, if you have been a user in the past and already use more than 7GB you will get to keep your free 25GB. If you do not use more than 7GB of the service you have to sign in and go to manage storage, from there you can get a free upgrade to 25GB for the time being.
Also as a side note if you made a account after April 1st you will not get the free upgrade. For New WP users they had to April 22, if you already had more than 7gb on SkyDrive you will be automatically keep the old 25GB storage amount. Now I would advise people to go hit up your old hotmail accounts and click that free upgrade.
Thanks
The title is a bit misleading and maybe think about changing it , but you are correct and thanks for the information. just took advantage of the free upgrade

Already dropping my Dropbox! (did you catch that?? hahhahaha)
Anyway, anyone noticed any kind of " show deleted files", or "previous versions"? Dropbox features that, and would be wierd if SkyDrive didnt.

p.s. the 7 to 25 GB update is only for accounts that already uses skydrive (or account that used it once)

Thanks for this....I've been using skydrive for a long time now but, just for a few documents and some WP7 apps (store their files on it). I was using less than 1gb, but, now I got plenty of space.
Can Zune (on my WP7 phone) stream from there ?
Zune, currently, cannot stream from SkyDrive, but Cloud Music can.

Ok I have a theory. A friend of mine shares some of his files from his Skydrive to mine. When I open my Skydrive app and swipe to Shared page, there are his files. Okay so what does this mean?
Well.. if you create a new account (hotmail/outlook) you can then share all your folders/files with your first email account. All your files from your second account will be available on your Shared page in your Skydrive app of your first account.
Now if you had a hotmail account for a long time, you automatically get 25 gigs of storage. If you happen to have a second older account that means you can share another 25 gigs. Total 50 gigs of storage. If your second account is new, then you can share only 7 gigs. Total of 32 gigs of storage.
If you don't have old accounts then both newer accounts will have 7 gigs. Thus you could have a total of 14 gigs of storage.
Great huh? :good:
Now I haven't tried this out yet but I don't see why this should not work.
Interesting, one should try, and report whether it's actually convenient or not.
About the 25GB for old accounts, I wonder how you get that. My hotmail address was opened more than 10 years ago, but yet I only get 7GB. Is there something required to do in order to get 25G. That alone would already be a great improvement for me. With the unused old account of my wife, that'll make 50GB
Little while a go MS offered a free 7gb->25gb upgrade to users who clicked it in their account. I think its not available anymore.

Surely we could piggy back email acounts. Open new accounts and share 7 gigs and another 7 gigs and another 7 gigs to your defualt Skydrive account???
Ok finally managed to test this. Works fine as I suspected. Put lots of files in my second hotmail account and shared with my first default hotmail account and naturally the files appear in my shared page of the official Skydrive app. I have a total of 4 hotmail accounts. Two 25 gigs and two 7 gigs so in theory (if I wanted to) I could have access to 64 gigs of files in my Skydrive app. Wahay!!!
What do you do with all these files? Why do you need 64GB on the SkyDrive, especially for WP7? Actually, my DropBox free 19 GB account still filled by 40% only (but I'm developer and share huge ISO's between my PC's)

Thanks for head up. I went dig out another account and it had 25G, so I have two 25G now. still get other accounts but won't bother too much right now. This is a great idea. of course, I'm far from using up my first 25G yet, but also I won't try to upload all my photos taken with my SLR neither.

The purpose of my OP is to inform users that they have the option to have access to increased storage from their default Skydrive account. How one utilises that storage is up to them.
I for one have all my PC documents on a specific category related to my passion (over 11 gigs) which is useful to have access to and numerous other media files.

Hello
I just had an idea and would like to share with anyone who had knowledge that could enhance this idea .
Exist today in Mercardo numerous companies that offer free space in the cloud for our files , however each of these companies has its own software to access files .
Do you think it would be possible that someone or some company was interested in creating a software that could connect and manage multiple accounts of cloud at the same time?
So we could open a free account for cloud service , then this program could join all the free spaces provided in one large space STORAGE .
What do you think of the idea ? it would make my life easy !
Dropbox - 2GB Free
Skydrive - 2GB Free
spideroak.com - 2GB Free
Asus WebStorage - 5GB free
Amazon Cloud Drive - 5GB free
Box - 10GB free
meocloud.pt - 16GB free
GoogleDrive - 15GB free
adrive.com - 50GB free
mega.co.nz - 50GB free
abelhas.pt - Unlimited *
Well , this is my idea hopefully someone can use and develop something to make life easier for everyone!
FTFY, SkyDrive offers 7 GB of free storage.
I've been working on this for about a week now.
I've gotten Box and Dropbox working so far. It also selects which service to upload the file to based on file size and space available. I'll keep you posted.
What would REALLY make (business) sense of such a project would be making a RESTful API developers could use.
For example, I could be writing a web application that works with user files. One option would be the user to choose and upload a file from their current client machine. An alternative would be browsing all of their cloud storage accounts and choosing a file source from there.
Keep it up, it could become something
Looks like it's been done.
