Hi, I configured my phone with CHT to open up the MS messaging when I tap the SMS icon on the CHT notification bar. If I have the option "show account picker", it will open up to show my SMS and email account. If I don't use that option, it will open to the inbox of whatever account I last had open. Is there a reg edit so that MS messaging will open up to my SMS inbox when it opens?
I use the manila email tab for emails, so that is not an issue.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I just flashed to the new Brightpoint ROM. I tried to setup an Exchange email. Before, I think it just use to say Text Messages, MMS, New E-Mail Account. Now, under Messaging, it shows Text Messages, Outlook Email, MMS, and New E-Mail Account. I was wondering how do I deleted the Outlook Email? When I try to go to Outlook Email and then select Menu, Delete is grayed out and I'm not allowed to select it. Anyone knows how to remove it?
Nevermind. I figured it out. I had to go to Activesync > Menu > Options. Select MS Exchange > Menu > Delete.
Hi, I was wondering if the icons on the main TF3D e-mail screen representing your multiple accounts can be customised, e.g. a gmail icon, outlook icon, msn icon etc to recognise my e-mail account instantly without having to memorize the order or touching it to see the name.
When I get a new e-mail notification (hotmail set up through windows live),if I click on the notification, it takes me straight to the outlook inbox. Is there anyway to prevent this?
In my e-mail settings the check box that "displays account picker" is checked but that doesn't seem to help.
I'm looking to have the e-mail message or the corresponding inbox open, rather than having to select the notification, only to be taken to an empty inbox (I don't use the outlook inbox and in situations where it was set up, it would default to that inbox anyway)
Any help?
Thanks in advance.
*P.S. I've searched extensively for this issue, for the past few days and I haven't bee able to find anything. *
**P.P.S.* This only happnes when I get an e-mail notification, and I use the HTC notification manager to go to the "New Email", only to be taken to my Outlook inbox, vis the hotmail inbox (I only have hotmail linked on my device, no account is attached to outlook
I've installed SMS Popup so that I get notifications when I receive text messages.
Now the issue is that I've intalled ChompSMS alongside the standard messaging app, which means that when a text message arrives, I actually get two pop up boxes: one from ChompSMS and one from the default app.
Is there any way to stop this? Can I 'assign' SMS Popup just to work for one of the messaging systems?
Cheers,
SMS Popup, like ChompSMS and the default Messaging client will only intercept incoming SMS messages once.
You need to make sure you have notifications disabled in ChompSMS AND the Default messaging client if you are using SMS Popup.
Hey all,
I use live.com for my email, and I have an alias address set up, that delivers mail to a secondary inbox. Trouble is, on the stock email app, I have to manually drill down to that box, which is listed as a folder on the email. Is there some way to create a shortcut to it, or some way for it to notify my when there is new mail? I would use the outlook app, but I like the message preview in the task bar, and Outlook doesn't display the first few lines of the message.
Any have an idea? Thanks
Hi! Have you found a solution? Or any other good app?
I have tried gmail, outlook and blue mail. Receiving emails is just fine (as it's the same inbox), but I can't send nor respond emails with the alias address.
