Hi guy's, i have a problem i havn't found a solution yet....
i've paired my bluetooth headset and all outgoing calls work fine. But when i get an incoming call its audio is routed to the phone instead to my bt headset, so every time i get a call i manually need to tell it to use the bluetooth... it's very annoying and unsafe as i use my bt headset mainally while driving...
I've looked every where, and tried all sort of apps that turn your bt off when a call is done and turn it on and pair back when i receive a call... but it takes time until the phone pair back with the headset... no good....
Please help if you have any solution, or you too have the same issue...
I have a rooted phone, using pays 1.6 bravesoul (based on mcr 3.1).
Thanks

I had the same problem when using 2.1 ROMs. It is fixed on Froyo (DeFroST 1. 2 at least)

Thanks for the replay, The thing is that a very simple software can fix this, but I cannot any thing that works... and Froyo is not stable enough for me...
I have exactly the same issue but with 3 different bluetooth devices. The phone will make a call OK and use the bluetooth device for audio, but when receiving, the audio is routed to the phone. Weird.
On my Touch Diamond 2 it uses BT headset if i use the headset answer button to answer the call and if i use button on the phone it uses audio on the phone. Maybe its same with android?
No, it doesn't matter what device's button you use or even after a reboot.
Question.... how can we get sound on both sides of my bluetooth headphones.....while on the cellphone talking..... smh... its anoying

2 questions for you.
1. what type of bluetooth headphones do you have? exact model please.
2. When you listen to music via bluetooth headphones do you hear the music in both ears?
So ive been messing with my desire z for a while now and i cant figure out what to do with my stereo bluetooth headset's odd behavior. I have the Jabra BT 8010. When i was using winmo, it would only connect to the media function when i tell it to, but on android it seems that after it connects to my headset, the 2 batch of sound gets routed to my headset rather than the phone's speakers.
I have gone to the wireless settings and manually set it to not connect to the media function but again after a 2 batch of sound (alert, ring tone, etc) happens, it automatically connects the media service to my headset again.
I also found a function that said to only connect the bluetooth when making calls and that also did not deter my phone from connecting my headset to media services anyways.
Does anyone have any insight to this? Thanks!

Out of curiosity, did you freeze the app "secphone" on your device? When I did, my bluetooth headset was acting possessed.
I'm using a Motorola hx550 headset after using a jawbone icon. The Moto has amazing battery life. You can listen to streaming audio all day (8-9 hours), and call quality is great.

Hi guys
I have an xperia s running official jelly bean 96 firmware rooted and locked bootloader.
The problem I'm recently having is that when I have a bluetooth headsets connected to my phone during a call if I start browsing the net or read a book on Kindle or even browse tapatalk the phone will show connected to bluetooth however the sound transfers through the earpiece on the phone. I then have to keep reconnecting to the headset. Any ideas why this could be? This happens with my sbh50 and even my jabra easygo headset
