Anyone know how to make the volume turn on when headphones are plugged in, then go back to vibrate when they are unplugged?

auto-set volume control for headphones

Ive done some searching and cant find anything, but I know it must be out there.
Is there some software that will automatically set the volume down when I plug in a headset then raise it back up when I unplug the headset.
An icon appears on the screen designating that I am using a headset, I wouldnt think it would be that hard for the volume to remember its setting.
Any luck on this?

Disable auto volume reduction?

I use my phone to listen to Audible plugged into my cars receiver, and every time I plug in the headphone jack there I have to turn the volume up to MAX because presumably it decreases it as soon as I plug it in and gives me this annoying warning about listening for too long at max volume. Anyone know how to prevent it from auto decreasing this on plug in? Or are there any ROMs that have fixed this annoyance?

Headset Audio goes back to middle

Ok, so when I turn up the volume all the way when I have my headset plugged into my radio, then unplug it, and plug it back in, it goes back to the middle level. Anyone know how to stop this from happening. I think it has something to do with the soundalive maybe? Just dont know how to change the setting.

and it's safety feature for ur ears

speaker turns on when nothing plugged in

On my M9, that i've only had since October '15, the speaker (says HTC Boomsound internal speakers) has been turning itself on when no apps are running, so you can only hear static, it doesnt give me an option to turn off (unless headphones are plugged in) but it turns back on as soon as i unplug them. i can only turn down the volume for 'music & videos'. getting annoying... if anyone knows what it might be, thanks.

Alarm Volume Quirk

I found this out by accident. If you plug anything into the ear phone jack, the alarm volume will go up by 20 to 25% from max volume. It only works for alarms. I am hearing impaired and this made a big difference to me when using the phone to wake me up.
I was trying to connect an amplified speaker to the ear phone jack which did not work ?????? but the volume went up when I inserted the plug in the ear phone jack....go figure.
