ADVICE:
in rom is integrated sdconfig tool: if you want install all cabs, at rom flashing, create a folder called sdconfig in your storage card, insert into all cabs, provxml, tsk you want, and at customizing, allc abs will be installed automatically, if you want make all after rom installing, prepare the sdconfig folder with cabs etc.... ang goto "impostazioni->sistema->sdconfig tool", the ppc will reset, and then install all cabs automatically....
WARNING:
don't use "pocketcm keyboard" as external keyboard, it causes fast increase in size into "device.exe"m until you don't have anymore free memory on device....
I hope someone can post to the author about this bug, becouse I liked it but have this bug....
there are others goods keyboard, I can suggest "touchpal" in italian version, is shareware, but works very well, and add new, and unknown for it, words in dictionary!!!
if you want is better first of all (but not necessary!) install DES Hard SPL:
DES_Hard-SPL.TRIN_2.zip
install from windows mobile opened, the ppc stop on boot, repeat the operation, executing again "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" and after ppc remain off, soft reset and wait, now you have also DES HSPL, and then you can flash everithing you want!!

the problem for the sip:
maybe uncompatible mui or exe or dll into \oem folder....
to solve I rebuilded all rom form zero.....

Ok, I've just installed the international PhonePad + SIP change and it works fine.
The "Camera Album" application always asks fot the folder to browser, is this right?

yes, phonepad, not more inside, and for htc Album solved (maybe forgott inside an old package)

- tapping on the screen doesn't produce the click, even if enabled in Impostazioni->Suoni e notifiche

in my last rom (just upping in file sharing service) it works well....
don't ask me anymore of last rom, I deleted it, download fiorst this one (when you have new link) and then we can talk about.

no, see with "getione attività" and switch to "processi" and search for big processes....
maybe "HTC_HDlg.exe" remain in memory sometimes...

no i ad disabled htc home and on start after 1 minut i ave 70% of ram used i searched in processi the biggest is filesys 11,5 mb

is only a reset.....
hehehhe
to start costumizing then.....
you have to prepare with cabs the sdconfig\ folder into storage card, and then use the tools, only reset the device and next install all cabs by custimizing...
maybe was better to advise with a messagebox before reset...
in next soft release...
I just insatlled the TF3D config on my X1 downloaded elsewhere from this wonderful forum including HD Themes and backgrounds pictures collected from the forum. It worked like charm on my X1 updated with Touch-IT X1 M-HD 1.1. Just wanted to share with all.

You actually goto Start/Programs/Diamond TF3D Config
But....I've tried it and it crashes on mine with a Null reference error.

Its killed my touch screen and I cant navigate the start menu to uninstall or reset(hard)
I know I can press left and right button and soft restart = hard restart but is there a way to fix this without hard reset?

Yup, Killed my touch screen as well. Not recommended to use yet.
If you use the slide out keyboard, you can use the windows key and the d-pad to navigate to settings/system/remove programs

Try and delete the tweaks-file in the applications folder.

no problem running this on my x1
if you download the cab file from my XION ROM THREAD; THE ONE CALLED DIAMOND.... for xperia.cab it will work perect, and with the tweaks, but be carefule with the tweaks, as some work and some dont, some makes you have to hardreset the phone, and thats the performence tweaks.

If I remember correctly you have to be careful to untick TF3D from Today, then install & reset, then tick TF3D back.
Worked fine on mine EXCEPT it seems to have screwed up the "People" tab, I can't add any contact but still can access the menu (I've also added the "Comm Manager" Tab").
Anyone has the same problem? a fix??
this tools is intended for a previous version of a previous version of the first version of tflo3d that we currently have on our device... so make your conclusions.
It should works on some parts but I strongly discourage you to use it

try these cabs
Clicking on today screen on right soft button (Comm Mgr.) opens the page with settings for clock and alarms.

Don't worry. These network settings is a program from Asus. It's not necessary to use it. It's only to configure settings in your phone to be able to connect to internet. You can use the same tool from Microsoft (settings, connections, connections and "automatically configure connection").
These ROM is stable right now and have only few really minor bugs. The rollback procedure is easy - just download from Asus your old ROM and after connecting your phone to the computer run this program which you downloaded.

Works like a charm on Asus P552 (without w). As before - GPS is not working (difference between w and without w versions) but whole system is working perfectly fine and fast. Tested Matrix trailer on Core Player and got 492,18% as a result!

I downloaded from asus page rom but when I'm trying to instal it from PC I have message that language on mobile phone is different from this one I want to install. Maybe someone have wm 6.1 PL im .abi file?

Start to install again.
Let the program check your system.
When the error appears look in the folder where the firmware is.
You will find a file named tmp_rom.abi.
Copy the file in other place and rename it with the name of firmware and let the extension .abi.
Cancel the current installation.
Copy the new GM2_.....abi file on the SD card. Put the SDcard in the phone, start the phone with button down+soft reset ...the boot loader will start and install your firmware automatically.
The version/language verifying procedure is done only if you start with EXE type firmware file. With abi file the only checking is for correct name, it should start with GM2...
I already try it with no luck. While boot my asus didn't see abi file. I used name:
GM2_V5.12.0S.PLK00.00_M4.6.5.P5_V2.9.0 POL00_20081230_3050.00.abi and file was extracted from GM2_V5.12.0S.PLK00.00_M4.6.5.P5_V2.9.0 POL00_20081230_3050.00.exe I tryed also other names but it didn't work.
I have:
Device OS Ver: 0.0
Device ExtROM ID: none
Finding file: GM2 *.ABI
File not found!

As someone has suggested, could we do without those useless things like Ez**(zip/music/photo) and other things you can think of.
Another suggestion :
The right soft-key links to Comm. Manager, but opens up the Alarms menu. Please do take care of that.

Bug Report :
1) Camera Launch has a big delay(Yes my CPU is in Turbo mode)
2) Camera display is washed out/grainy (Not that I use the cam, just letting you know that your build is going to be perfect)

and i want some individual things back from Touch X rom
like
1 - The selection , when i put the usb cable in the phone - active sync, data disk, or connection sharing
2 - Youtube (as app,like on touch x rom)
3 - VolumeControl
4 - CommManager
5 - Album like on Touch X , with sliding the pictures..
---- i found some cabs, but i installed them on my original rom, but i dont see any app of these or replacement

If you install HTCAlbum from itjes thread nothing will show up in start menu. You'll have to find the shortcut in the Windows folder.

im pretty new in this forum. I found out what nice tweaks and apps there are for xperia x1, which you guys just made and i just can tell from vidz and pics, you did a excellent work by far...but:
I saw the tilewave panel for x1 in this forum und tried to install. I already installed other panels like home ui and touch3d earlier, so i know how to install *.cab and choose in panel manager. My Problem with this here, the tilewave, is, that i cant choose it in the panelmanger. I tried several different panalmanager version, like the one for x2 or the SE, but there is no success...
My general question ist: What is required to use the tilewave panel on X1?
Do i need a special rom for that? by the way: what exactly is a rom ? ^^
Before you guys flame me, that i could use the search engine: i did. But everthing i found here is talking about roms or that everyone claims the tilewave panel is easy to install on x1.....And i'm not in all these Rom things either...
I really would like to have this panel, so plz plz help
Some infos:
- Rom Version is: 1.05.207.13 and installed on 5.12.2009...
- After trying to stop all panel manger processes, to install the x2 panelmanager and try with this, i coulndt find any processes in taskmanager but couldnt delete the old panalmanager archive...so i just isntalled the x2 PM....
- the x2 panel manager works really fine, but i cant choose the installed tilewave panel, there is none with that name....
Ok, a little update right now:
I installed a prozess manager to kill the panel manager process and could reisntall the x2 panel manager without any errors or bugs...
The X2 Dialer and the x2 Task Manager could be installend without any problems...
somewhere i found myriad java installer and installed that too, because i hoped it is neccassary for the tilewavepanel...but still no success, the only thing which doesnt work is that tilewave panel..its installed in the right archive (Programms/Panels/) but i still cant choose it from panel manager.....

Allright....after tryn around the whole day, yesterday....i found out, that the registry entry, which leads to the panel, is wrong...it willl normally registered in "/Program Files/Panels/Tilewave" but if your language settings differs from english, like my german does, you have to change all registry entries there. in my case to: "/Programme/Panels/..."
If anyone got the same problem, i hoped it help....
I got now the problem, that, when i click on messages button in tilewave panel, it zooms in and out, but nothings happens. i quite couldnt find a solution in the forum, so does anyone know how to get this fixed?
I have to edit my informations a gave here....i dont have isntalled any rom, the version of what i have, is the normal firmware i got...(see above in first post)

I installed Active X Deploymend and the slideview seems to be installed too, its under "Programme/Slideview
Is it neccassary for a wm 6.1 Xperia X1i (is what i have) to install Slideview in order to use tilewave?
If so, i had problems installing it the manuel way: I had problems to copy all files in /windows/ because the file is in use or allready exists....
All other problems (like time- +1hour) could be solved, but just this little ****ing messages button cant be fixed (((

allright party- people...after days and days messing around with that problem, i decided to play a last card on my hand and flash my device with a custom rom.
Although i'm absolutly not into that stuff, i viewed your tutorials and see: everything works fast, fine and stable! I have now the Touch it Xperience Ver.12 with additional tilewave panel installed and did the registry trick to fix the hour-faster- problem... it works perfektly ! I think my earlier problems where because of my firmware version (original sony, not a custom..)
I'm so glad right now, about the beautiful,fast and usefull new interface! You people do a great job here and i'm happy there are people like you doing it without any financial afford.
So thx again (altough you didint help me in this post here ;-)), and special thx to Biovolt for his very easy going and usefull tutorials (video+text) and itje for the very nice Touch It v.12 rom !
