Hi I have I-mate Jasjar first i have upgraded the rom to windows 6.1 it was installed and working properly but, when i try windows 6.5 it deletes all of data now the system is dead. I also try to do the factory reset but when i press 0 message appear clearing then it off automatically and no response.
How can I retreive the rom or resolve the problem
flashing erases all data except basic OS.
if you're refering to get access to teh data that was there before 6.5, you cant.
if you mean it's somehow not functioning properly, reflashing with either hte same rom or a new one.
Can you get ur uni in to boot loader?
press and hold POWER+RECORD button then press RESET
then refalsh on Windows XP

I would like to downgrade my qtek 9100 device to WM 2003 because I use Linux (Ubuntu) and wm 5 doesn't work with Synce.
I have two question:
1/ Is it possible to downgrade the Qtek 9100 to wm 2003?

But the instrictions tell I have to download a wm2003 ROM here:

i'm pretty sure there never was a 2003 rom for 9100 / wizard devices
BA == blue angel == Qtek 9090
If you have a Qtek 9100, that's a Wizard, not a Blue Angel, and there's no WM 2003 rom to flash it.

It makes a lot more sence than downgrading your device, even if you could.
****ed up my artemis rom by upgrading stucks in loading mode WM6 screen. Can access bootloader but it always tell me upgrading again that i have the wrong rru....
CAN ANYBODY PLEASE UPLODE THE ORIGINAL WM5 ROM in GERMAN by htc for Artemis (NOT Orbit oder MDA)

It workes fine if you have the proper rom!!! The one for my german p3300 cid unlocked is this one:

However, now I wish to upgrade it to official wm6 from Orange or HTC it does not work it say USB not connected...and gets stuck on 4 colour boot screen.
Please any suggestion. HELP!

Vista *could* be a problem.
On the O2 web site there is an official download of WM6 for the Trion. Maybe you should try to get hold of that since you are on O2.
i have also orange spv m3100
few days ago orange here (slovakia) announced there will be NO official orange WM6 update for this pda, so i decided and flashed it with tnt2 wm6 rom
my orange was never flashed before, so i did it in 3 steps, which i suppose you need to do too
1. install bootloader Hard-SPL-V7 (alias olipro 2.10)

2. install radio (gsm part) - i used latest v1.51 - find the download link on this page somewhere (hermes wiki)
3. install choosed rom - i used TNT2 professional pp4 with htc home
in fact i did it for the first time and had no major problem (only in step 3 the autodetection of bootloader failed and there was no option for v2.10 so i choosed "newer" or so) and after third restart the WM6 booted up ...

I would prefer the O2 XDa Trion Rom but can't access it cos it is not an O2 serial number - (anyone who has the O2 XDA Trion WM6 ROM, please get in touch!)
Anyway, back on topic. Today, I upgraded my MPV3100 from WM5 to WM6 using the HTC ROM available via this site:

From this page I selected the following link which is a file share site, I selected the free download option and was downloaded in a minute:

This upgrades to the WM6 ROM and gets rid of all the Orange stuff and all their annoying branding, it just leaves it with the HTC logo's when reseting, no more Orange stuff in site!!
I suggest you use this unless you can access the XDA trion ROM.
I had absolutely no problems with the HTC ROM when installing it. Unit is running well, however, I have noticed I cannot access the front camera like others on this site have mentioned after upgrading to WM6 - a small price to pay as I never use it.

yes this is only latest orange update for mn5 not wm6
if you have unlocked previously then i advise you run oli 2.10, ithink thats what its called basicly hard spl
this will let you instal the manufacturers rom
but why on earth would you do that
i suggest you install shamanix grass, based on schaps roms
its super fast and very stable

you can download 1.42 system rom. I think it`s last one for SX66 with wm 2003se
Can't downgrade
When i try to run the 1.42 ROM, it loses connection on Vista although Mobile device center says Connected. On Windows XP SP2 Activesync (last version) is crashing and by that the upgrade program loses connection.
BootLoader mode doesn't help in this case, unless someone has the ROM so i can copy it to the SD card.
The German version doesn't fit since i have the English version.
any ideas?

Hi! I'm new on this forum, and SORRY for bumping an old thread, but I'm looking for help, and this thread has the topic I'm wondering about.
I have a HTC Qtek 9100 WM 5.0, and I have now tried to upgrade to WM 6.1 version 2.6 and 2.7 and WM 6.5, but NONE of them are working or giving me any upgrades at all! (the only upgrade i got was the "new" HTC-logo in 1-2 seconds before it turns back to the old logo from WM5.0)
The SPL is still 1.06 after the upgrading, and I'm not getting any error-messages at all on my computer or on my HTC, but something is defenitely wrong!

(PS: I don't need the WM6.5, but maybe the 6.1-version? any sugestions?)
