hi Devs!..
i searched in the whole forum, but I didn't find anything.
Is there a android-rom ore something else, which accepts my PIN-Code?
The XDAndroid doesn't do this....
If there's no rom, is there a program to debug this problem?
thx
Xdandriod should let you make/accept your Pin Code for Andriod. Unless you mean your Windows Mobile Pin Code.
People say on the forums that you need to disable your Pin Code for Windows Mobile but I don't seem to have an issue with that.
Good Luck.
If you're referring to the PIN on your SIM card, then no. I don't believe any of the Android ports for any of the devices on this forum support SIM PIN codes. If I recall correctly, I believe the problem lies in the AT command syntax used by Android, but don't quote me on that. For now, you'll have to disable your SIM PIN to use Android.
ok, so i don't have any programm to solve the problem?
Sure, i'm not so happy about that i habe to disable my pin code, but, if there's no way i have to do it...
thx anyway
yawp only way to run the droid is to disable ur pin but we are almost running android fulltime so fairly soon it will be more of a either or thing

Hi,
I have an HTC Blueangel that my brother set a PIN lock to, now he cant remember it. I had previously reflshed it to WinMobile 6.0. I have tried reflashing but the user area must be seperate or something but that did not clear it, and the PIN prompt is always there.Any idea any one?
Thanks in advance.
dude, if u r referring to the PIN Code Lock problem, then seek help from your network service provider. Coz the PIN Code is only applied to your sim card. No fault in the handset
just contact your network provider to retrieve it back
is there a password software for BA wm6.5???
some members here said passwords are bugs in cooked roms and therefore do not work properly...
looking forward for replies...
thanks...
Yes the password has bugs in it in wm6.5, so it may work for a while, but eventually you will be unable to unlock your phone. I used organic lock for a while, but stopped once my BA stopped being my PDA and just became my phone.
i know password doesn't work...well, they worked once but i have to hard reset my BA to be unlocked...
so, any password software won't work on wm6.5?
I think password software will work, as long as it is not the built in one.
i think so too...
does anyone know a not built-in password software?
hi,
you can try using S2U2 made by a_c. basically, it is a program that show you an iphone lock screen on your WM device, it comes with a password locked features, so you just configure it to enable locking once your device is being turned on
hope that helps you. fyi, I'm using it right now and so far its good and stable
hi giuys like the header says i would like to sim lock my phone... what i mean is that i want my phone to work only with my sim... i've tried to search on the forum for it but with no results... can you help me???
thanks in advance
hi. first of all, if your phone is sim locked, it not gonna work only with your sim but with every sim card of your network ( vodafone in your case); secondly i've never heard about something or somehow to sim-lock again a phone!!! ask Olinex, may be he knows!!! good luck
i didn't mean the general sim-lock like the branded phones have i mean maybe a lite app that runs when you start the phone and blocks you from using the phone if there is no sim or it isn'tt the sim you've previously registered...
aahhh okayyyy, you mean something like the nokia's phone locking if the sim is changed! i've understood now! i was looking for it me too but i've never found a bit! we'll stay in touch, if i find something intresting i'll tell you ciao

Click to collapse
I got what you need but it is shareware [you have to pay for it].
It is for Wm 5 but i think that it will support higher too.
Did you search on google?
Here is the link: [click].
I searched for the "cra**ed" version but all links are dead or fake.
hi thanks for the reply guys
if you can use password protection why bother such thing!!!
okay, password may be broken by software, but same thing for any kind of security also.
anyway, a program can be written such as:
small memory residence program which will check the sim nr. in every few min.
if not matched, will enter into Airport Mode + screen lock
keep checking every few min.
if it matched the nr. stored before (encrypted) will unlock airport mode+screen
or the program will only trigger at the stratup or sim change
Hello!
Got question, any compilation of an android have correct PIN veryfication?
Im impressed what YOU can do with android, is it that difficult?
Thank You Very Much and Have A Nice Day
At the moment there is no build that has working SIM PIN verification, it has been a long standing problem with non-native Android builds on most if not all devices that can run android, either nand flashed or haret based.
I'm not sure why this is, and would have thought it an easy problem to fix, but no-one has found a solution yet.
The only solution at present is to disable PIN before flashing/running Android.
Note that a SIM PIN only protects your SIM, if your phone is stolen then simply putting another SIM card will bypass that, it's better to lock the phone itself.
thank you
i hope that will be possible in advance
We're fast approaching a year on android for some of us old hands, but this one problem has been with us since the very start, it may be an easy fix, or so difficult that no-one has managed it, either way I can't recall anyone working on it at present, and I am only really a well informed user, this really needs dev work
Hey guys, I have a serious problem logging into my Pixel 6 pro. I basically locked myself out of it, as it seems.
I just wanted to add a pin code to my e-sim and went to the security settings to do so.
My phone asked for th PUK number which entered from the information card I received from my provider. Then it asked me to enter and confirm my new pincode. As soon as I did so, it said wrong PUK number. If you want you can deactive your esim to use the phone without mobile connection which I don't want, obviously.
Does anyone have an explanation for that? As I told you the puk is definitely correct.
The only reason I can think of why the PUK is incorrect is that the phone activated my old esim (something I asked my provider to do shortly before it happened).
Long story short I cannot log in anymore, Hard reset did not help me and I am about to send in the phone to the google support.
Is there a way around the puk pin request? My phone is not rooted and unfortunately debugging is also not active yet.
I am really clueless and hope that you can help me!
Best reagrds from Germany!
Jan
