For some reason, the music player only sees the songs that have artists whose name starts with a "K". Did anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you solve it? Thank you!

Just been syncing some music to my TP2 and, rather annoyingly, the HTC music player will not play in track number order!!
If I use windows media player, the tracks play in their correct order.
Anyone else seen this - or got a solution??
p.s. No, shuffle is *not*turned on!!!

I'm running Manila 2.5 (don't know if there's anything else you have to know..just ask ) on my HTC HD and I would like to use the build in music player. Windows Media player is working fine, but the standard one seems to have troubles finding the songs. It shows the songs with a length of 0:00. Meaning, it will skip all songs until it reaches the last one and then stop. After a soft reset everything is working fine until I reconnect it to the PC. Even if I don't change anything in the Musik folder.
I organized my songs like this: Storage Card/Music/Artist/Album/Song.mp3
At least most of them.
Anyone with the same problem or a way to solve this?

hello i have this problem with my music player were the song plays half way through and then just stops playing and i have to restart the whole song, i found this to be not a ROM issue so can anyone help me please thanks

It's almost impossible to help you unless you post some useful information as in what kind of phone, what rom, what version of manila, etc. etc. Is it always the same song/s? What version of the music player is it? How did you come to the conclusion that it is not the ROM??
Does anyone know a good music player which can be simply controlled by speaking commands??
Vlingo does that for the inbuilt player doesn't it? Maybe it only starts playback, not sure...
Yes you can open your music player with Vlingo... but you cannot say for example: next song, louder...
This is actually something, that I was looking for myself. On the market I found a music player, that should be capable of this, but couldn't get it work.
I really need only something, that switches to the next song when I'm in the bath and shout : "NEEEEEXT". Maybe the already running music could give some problems to recognise your voice...

I really don't know if anyone here can help me as I have a very puzzling situation I'm dealing with in regards to listening to my music on Rhapsody. I've been on 4.4.2 ROMs ( Temacek and Carbon ) and i notice when i have the Rhapsody Equalizer on, once my screen goes black, the music stops playing. This was not an issue beforehand. i'm a bit puzzled by this. Was looking to see if there was an update for Rhapsody but nada. Has anyone else experienced something like this on Rhapsody or any other music streaming app? And if so, how did you solve the problem?
