Thats android eclair 2.0.1, thats all there is just now.
A natively booting 2.1 ROM doesn't even exist for the Rhodium yet... 2.0.1 is the latest build we have for this device, and it doesn't boot from ROM.

Ive gotten it working with the "rootfswithcalibration" file. I Didnt change anything other than adding a tilt2 startup.txt (unfortunately this older rootfs does not support any of our new keyboard maps, or wifi), renaming to rootfs.img and dropping it in the folder. Make sure you do not have a ts-calibration file in your android boot folder, and try again!

Yep you need to flash a new rom because as far as I know thats the only way it can be changed since its written at the same time as the ROM. Tom's B&Bv3 has just changed mine from the o2 default to the HTC logo, ask him how he did it but I'm pretty sure you need a new ROM with the logo of your choice embedded.
PS: Don't think you can do the log seperately either but I'm sure a more knowledgable person will be along shortly

Totally not going for me.. just upgraded to wm6 and the new activesync... maybe that's the reason?
There was a way I heard of using the RUU and replacing a file with the new image you wanted for splash...
"Perhaps you should look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=12898.
There is a great program on there for converting pictures to .nb files and also a CAB which, when run, will change the boot images.
This does require putting the splash1.nb and splash2.nb files into the /windows/ directory before running MDA3_bootimage_changer2.CAB,
but if you want to just run a CAB file you can just edit that CAB and place your own created splash1.nb and splash2.nb files
in it with the location set as /windows/ (I tried it with WinCE CAB Manager and this way works as well)."

It does depend on the rom, B&B v1 & 2 didn't update my boot screen but v3 did so maybe you've got an old version? Are you actually using the B&B rom at all? Not all rom updates change the boot screen, it depends on the chef if they include em in the first place

B&B? Did i miss something?
Tried two ways:
1: making the splash1 and splash2
2: tried RUU updating the splash, but fails, think it's the new activesync.
Did i mention that i'm trying this on a htc p3300?
Sorry, B&B is Black & Blue. Its the ROM that Tom Codon has been releasing and updating for the P3300\Artemis\Orbit.

In addition, when I hold the End/Power key it only gives me the option to Power Off phone, when before it gave me options to silence/vibrate. I tried searching but no luck... any suggestions?

BLAZN has a very old version of Froyo. The Power Button Ends Call option isn't in the rootfs.img. It's in the system.ext2. You should be able to get the option by upgrading to a newer Froyo system.ext2 like FRX03.

Ah, you're talking about Sovereign's update utility which is rolled into Reefer's packages. I can't say that I know a whole lot about that since I don't use it. There's a way to check within android however. Go to launcher and click on Settings. Next scroll all the way down to About phone and click on that. Finally, scroll down to Build number and post what it says for that.

It's a TON easier to just use spare parts to remap end to home.
The other method is not so easy, until we get a startup.txt option to change it.

Uh... who told you that? There's certain devices that have a wifi init issue, but it's not all of them.
Wifi has been working for a very long time... For all phones AFAIK, other than a few that had that init issue.
Typing from XDAndroid Tilt 2 and I can safely confirm that WIFI does work. Everything pretty much works including CAMERA and backlight.

Delete the ts-calibration file and boot again. Should force you to calibrate on first boot.
I heard some of the newer kernels cause issues with calibration - you should only have to ever calibrate once (assuming it's a good calibration) - just backup the file once you get a good one, and reuse it over and over.
So if you can't get it to calibrate, revert to an older kernel, get a good calib file, and save/reuse it.
It runs so slowly and freezes all the time.

WinMo stays. When you soft reset (from the pin or pulling the battery) you will be brought back to WinMo. Then you can just run haret again, and you're back in Android.
There's a dual-boot app - if you wish, just don't ask for support here. Post in the thread related to the tool. It's called Gen.Y.

hmmm doesn't force_cdma=1 seem incorrect for a ATT tilt2 on ATT 3g???

And copy those contents to that folder?
OK booting into xandroid, but no cell signal or data.

Perhaps we need to tear thru the startups and clean them up!

Sounds like you have the ancient BLAZN version of Android. Grab FRX06, and throw LP on it.
How do i do that?!

Perhaps you're not understanding what I'm asking of you.
From the first post, it sounds like you are running an ancient unsupported build.
I'm suggesting you download that build, use it, and install LauncherPro on it.
What build are you using? Is my assumption correct?
Im using XDAndroid2.2BLAZN.092810
and im trying your build right now
It still says "An SD card is required to download this"...... What can I do?

Something's wrong with the set up because I just downloaded it from market and it d/l'd and installed fine. I know it's a PITA, but maybe try reformatting the card, reload Arrrghhh's stock FRX06, let it build a new data.img and then try reloading it again.
no i went to LauncherPro.com to get the latest version and it says that i need a SD card which already have one inserted

Yes, that build is ancient from Sept. 28th 2010. Update to FRX06 and try again...
Which it seems like you've done? Have you formatted with the HP Tool per the thread?

Well the HP Tool & a full format at FAT32 will resolve the no SD card issue. Why don't you just get LP from the Market!?!?
I didnt know you could download it from the market

lol Android != Windows. The whole point of the Market is a) you don't have to go to 15,000 websites to get something and b) a trusted source for downloads.
Which do I download?! there tons of apps under "launcher pro"

Well, when I searched for that (exactly) the second app made the most sense.
When I searched for 'launcherpro' (one word) I thought it would turn up less, but it turned up more... LP was still in the list, but like 6 down.
Download the one titled "LauncherPro". The others probably just have something related to LP in the description so it pops up... Welcome to search engines, w00t.

What the hell kind of random question is that??
Wifi has worked for a really, really long time... Assuming you're not on a funky kernel, wifi should just work. Read the FAQ tho, there's a few devices that need some extra help for wifi to function properly.
Well its not working on me!
