how to unlock CID and where can i download the Molski rom?

i followed method of renaming ruu to arteimg & flashing frm bootloader

its to cid unlock the phone, you have to do it every time you flash
if you have mac it doesnt work

There's soo many threads regarding this on the forum. Really, open your eyes people. The threads which are important are STICKYs. All the info is there. Plus, if you really need to ask questions, ask it in the relevant forum!

Cid 11111111

Hi there. How do we check whether we have CID 11111111? Bootloader? I think I do not have this, so wanna check it now.
By the way what are the pros and cons of having CID 11111111? Does it improve anything?

If you can access "System Info" in bootloader it will tell you your CID. If you don't have this option then you can safely assume you don't have CID 11111111.

If you head to the Development section, and find the Radio S-OFF guide, it has an excellent tool to use.

[Q] Help, what to be carefull not to brick it?

Hi guys,
I have a Galaxy S and its very easy to install custom ROM's on it but.
A friend of mine has One X and wants 4.1/4.2 with sense
I rooted it but he has a weird CID, how important is the CID not to brick the device?
he has HBOOT 1.12 and from what i know he need a higher version for JB sense. The upgrade i read that is very risky.
Can someone who has patients tell me all the things i need to be carefull if i want, or if i can, to install ca custom ROM with sense+ so i wint brick it.
Before flaming me to search, i did but I'm not confident enough to do it and i cant brick anotherones phone.

and find your answer whether your CID is compatible with JB roms or not? If your CID doesn't match with the list then you can't upgrade your HBOOT and please keep in mind that this is developer section please ask your queries in Q&A or general section from next time.

The CID is not on the list, its H3G_004
So the only way I can upgrade to JB is to wait for official release?

S-off, use any ruu you like. Why not unbrand it and go for wwe 2.41.401 and update from there.
And post questions in the Q&A section, this is the guides section
