Has anyone successfully installed the NoData app on a T-Mobile Touch Pro 2 running Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5? If so, how is the program working for you? Any problems?

Firt of all check if your network APN setting is correct. If your unsure about it just go to your network website and copy that to your phone. Secondly if you have data plan part of your package enable data under mobile network settings. Good luck

I saw anothee thread solving this problem but can't find it. It would not start tethering and would not connect back to my own wifi. How do I solve this?

Glad that it was able to help man.
I have a different problem now, I can tether but the hot spot does not show up. I tried to doing it over and over, didn't work. I'm not sure if it's the version of the wireless tether or the files that I put into it android.tether
Anyone have a solution?

If you see post 8, i uploaded a zip file with the .bin file inside it; some where having trouble changing the extension in the OP file; extract the file, then try the steps again.

Note: User name and password default wifi is set as follows
User: Wifi-win8(T.A)
Pass: 123456789
=> After each reboot or turn off wifi when you want to use wifi, you run the application in addition to the screen again (no need to do the above steps again, except you reinstall win)

There are a number of apps to do it for Win7. You can also do it just using a script, or a few netsh commands (including on Win8 or even Windows RT).
Ok......I'm odviously a complete idiot because I've been threw this simple procedure about 10 times in the last 3 hours and have yet to get it right
I honestly think I'm following your instructions to the letter...
I download Wifi_8.zip
Extract it
Run Wifi 8.exe (install it)
Go into the propertie of the short cut and tick it, Run as Admin
Double click the short cut
I wait till winblows finishing identifieing the new network
Right click the new Local Area Connection*12 - choose properties.
Then the sharing tab, tick Allow other network users to connect and in the box under Home networking connection is Wi-Fi, which is the what my
WiFi connection is called................
What am I doing wrong, or not doing?????

It is set to launch desktop version but it still isn't working. They don't even have a mobile site to view and no chance of an app unfortunately.
