I cant find my booklet for my Kyocera TXCKT10129 Bluetooth Dongle. Which has the setup instructions and key for setup. (ie, what key to press, in what order, what the security code is ect..)
Ive run Google though its paces but their is very little available on this device. Let alone a manual. After I put a cooked rom on my phone, i of course lost the association with my phone. Now i cannot get it re-associated. Can anyone help me find the manual online someplace or have one of these personally? .... before i kill someone...
Just for some help this is about the only link i could find.. which is where i purchased it from.
Woot Link
As usual, i found a manual after posting here....
Kyocera Instructions and Specs.
< How to Use >
Please use Ear-Call after fully charging a power if the key does not become ON since through the distribution channel the battery power can be all worn out.
>> Headset Power-On and Power-Off
1. Power-On : Press the call button long until you hear the signal sound. The power is On with
LED light on and with "Do Re Mi Pa Sol La Si Do" signal sound.
2. Power-Off : Press the call button long until you hear the signal sound. The power is Off with
LED light off and with "Do Re Mi Pa Sol La Si Do" signal sound.
>> Pairing Headset Registration
1. To use the Headset with other Bluetooth device, the registration process should be through.
2. Pairing is the wireless link between two devices and once registered device does not need to
register next connection time
3. There are two kinds of registration stand-by conditions. After purchasing the headset, if you
power on, the LED starts to blink green color consecutively. And if you press the call (+)upward or (-)downward 4 seconds, the LED starts to blink continuously with the sound of
“Di Di Ding”
4. Please register the Headset referring to the Bluetooth mobile phone.
5. After selecting the Bluetooth manual of the Bluetooth mobile phone, the followings are displayed
on the screen like Bluetooth mode setting-Confirm-Other device registration-Confirm.
Press the confirm button to select one among Headset, Hands-free, Stereo Headset, then the
mobile phone is searching the Bluetooth device. Depending on the mobile phone model, the
mobile phone registers "ED-8800" after 5 ~ 7 seconds and ADDR is formed. Press the OK button
and input password NETQUOTEVAR:0000 in the password windows, then the Bluetooth mark is created after
5 ~6 seconds.
6. After the registration finish, the green LED starts to blink twice at the intervals of 5 seconds. The
Bluetooth mark is displayed on the mobile phone LCD windows at the registration completion.
7. If the LED starts to blink twice at the intervals of 5 seconds, the pairing is successfully done.
If the LED starts to blink consecutively for scores of seconds, please try again after power off the
headset and mobile phone simultaneously.
8. According to the mobile phone model, if the pairing is blocked please try again.
9. After the device registration, if the connection is broken at the power-off, and also if mobile
phone does not recognize the headset, please press the call button rightward or leftward
slightly and the mobile phone is connected at Headset (H/S) and Hands-free (H/F)
profile. While using at Stereo (A/V) profile with mobile phone, when Stereo profile is not
recognized, press the button shortly (0.5 seconds), the Stereo profile is again connected.
10. Per the Bluetooth mobile phone model, the headset is automatically connected after the
pairing process. Then the Green LED starts to blink twice consecutively at the intervals of
5 seconds.

I am using an 8125 with Slide2Unlock and the Iphone dialer pad. Even with the standard dialer phone pad, if I want to stop using the headset during a call I must use the menu button at the bottom and select "Turn Hands-free off".. There are times that I do not want to use my BT headset or vehicle hands free unit. I would like to know if anyone had extracted that command and if it could be placed on the "in call" dialer skin as a hot button, like hold or mute, without having to go through the menu to access it. I don't need anything fancy that toggles the bluetooth on/off, in fact I would like to leave that unaffected. Simply a command that shortens the finger strokes of going through the in call menu and setting the handfree status.
Thanks in advance to brain tank.....
Does anybody have any ideas????? Please would really like an app like this....
Please Please...really want an app like this but I have no idea how to make one.
Thanks
have you tried holding down the green call button whilst in a call? Works on my SPV M1000 to turn speaker phone on....
A
Speaker phone is not my issue, I want to toggle between Headset and Handset while in a call. Like pressing menu/Handfree off.
GC
I tested a today plug-in which did it, unfortunately I don't remember the name. AFAIK it is the only software capable of doing it while in a call, so.... hope you'll find it
I use my phone for work and just leave it plugged in whenever on a conference call, so the screen doesn't time out (checked setting). Now I love the feature of the screen blacking out via proximity sensor whenever not using a BT, just my ear, then the screen turning back on when I move my head away.
However, whenever I'm away from the charger and on a call using my BT earpiece, the screen times out very quick. And there's no way to get the screen back on using the power button at that point, as it'll just hang up the call. My BT does not have mute functionality, and there are times when I need to click Mute or use the dial pad... and at that point, I'm SOL.
I've put a Screen On widget on my desktop and in the notification bar, but the screen times out too quickly for me to remember to tick it. And that's a pain to do anyway on every BT call when not connected to power.
Question... Is there any kind of setting that once the bluetooth option is checked in the dialer, that the screen could stay on longer? Or would this need a mod? Thanks.
Bluetooth voice dialing was working on the AT&T firmware, but it seems that since updating to the Rogers firmware it doesn't - pressing the call button (1 second press on my Jabra Extreme 2 headset) does nothing at all. Redial (double-tap on the headset) works as you would expect.
Some searching found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1558776
But this doesn't seem to help in my case - I've installed Bluetooth Launch, but the call button still does nothing. Even more strange, if I run "adb logcat" then nothing is logged when I press the call button (I expected to see something from the bluetooth subsystem at least saying it had been pushed, even if it couldn't launch an application to deal with it).
Voice search is installed, and works as you would expect when manually launched.
Any pointers would be appreciated - thanks.

From the previous thread did you disable any security lock on the phone ?
As that was the clincher for me, once disabled security code to unlock/wake up phone the BT button then actually does something when pressed.
Edit: Actually I supposed if the BT button doesn't do anything while the phone is already awake then its something else.
Hey all, Lloir,
Issue : Bluetooth isnt working as I expect it.. ...
Phone Make/Model : HTC One V, GSM, UK Version
Rom : CM9RC3
Kernel :titanium Kiss , tk_usb_cm9_201209091500.img
Have paired a plantronics PLT510 bluetooth headset with the phone, perfectly fine and phone audio is "ticked" in Pairing option
Dialing out
Stock ROM
- if i make a call with the phone using the stock Rom, then as soon as I press dial, a bluetooth connection is created and I hear the ringing tone in my Bluetooth headset..when I disconnect it also disconnects
CM9
- Whilst dialing, if i select (bluetooth from second icon), it still doesn't connect
- The only way I can make it work, is to hold the call button on the headset pressed AFTER Ive hit send/dial on the phone, then voice is transferred to Bluetooth
Receiving a call
- Stock rom, as soon as a call comes in , it connects by default to the headset
- CM9
- Voice stays with handset
- Whilst phone is ringing
- If I press and hold the call button on the headset it will hang up the call (Correct behaviour I think)
- If I press once the call button on the headset, it will answer the call, but voice is still on the handset
- If I press the second icon to select bluetooth on the phone , still nothing happens
- If I answer phone (either by BT call button) or handset, then HOLD the BT Call button on the headset, then voice streaming works......
Currently I have to answer the call using the handset, then press & hold the BT Call button for the call to be transfered to the headset.. delay of approx 5 seconds...
Once the connection is made, the quality is good, clear and consistent...
hope this is clear
Any comments? Im wondering if I flashed the kernel correctly...
y dont u just flash the kernel again, and flash the ROM too, then see if the problem persists, its hardly a 30 sec process

Hi
Need testers
So all who have a bluetooth device with problems in CM9/10
Please PM me

I'm on the road a lot and use a bluetooth headset all the time. On my HTC Amaze I was able to voice dial from my bluetooth headset but on the GN2 I can't get past the lock screen and when I do (get past the lockscreen) I have to use S voice. All I'm trying to do is use the voicedialing without ever picking up my phone. Unfortunately I've searched everywhere and can't find or figure it out. Is anyone else having this issue/know of a fix?
Simply pair your headset to your phone. Then with the phone on and you unlocked it, activate your BT headset while watching the screen. You'll need to accept a waver to activate it. Once it is actvated, you can use your BT headset. Youll hear a chime ti promt you to speak.

I gave that a try but unfortunately I still have to unlock the phone in order to use voice dialing. I use face recognition/pin & I'm using a Jawbone Icon.
The thing that annoys me is that I can do a redial(double press the call button) and it works without me having to touch the phone.

Having the same problem with BlueAnt Q1 and Q2. They both worked as such on my HTC G2:
(after all paired up and connected)
Push button on BT
Say "phone command"
BT responds "activating your phone's in-built voice commands on the connected phone"
G2 says "speak now"
I say "call Fred"
Phone dials Fred
On my SGN2:
(after all paired up and connected)
Push button on BT
Say "phone command"
BT responds "activating your phone's in-built voice commands on the connected phone"
Nothing happens
If I unlock the phone, S Voice is activated
I have some other BT devices, I'll see if they fare any better, maybe it is an issue with BlueAnt?

This is the same problem I have with the GN2, I've switched to a pattern lock and now I unlock my phone before using the Bluetooth. It defeats the purpose of being hands free. Once I get a car dock I'll go back to face unlock but this isn't very good. Luckily it's an easy work around and is probably one of the biggest problems I have with the phone. lol
Go to S Voice settings > check wake up in lock screen > set wake up command. ( i didn't do this part as i don't have pattern lock)
Open dialer > go to call settings > Accessory settings > Outgoing call conditions > Select Even when device locked.
Don't know if this helps but I can make calls no prob with my jawbone Icon. To activate S Voice you only need to press and hold the end call button on your headset and it should start up by itself. Once in a while you will not hear the special sound S Voice makes when it's activated (Don't know about headsets that don't support A2DP), that means it is not working properly. All you have to do is press the end call button on your bluetooth again and you will hear the end call sound. Then press and hold the end call button again to reactivate the s Voice, it should work again!
Thanks for your response.
I didn't have the Svoice set as you described, but the call setting was already set. Still not working. Can you try with screen lock set to "Secured with PIN"? That is the security setting required by my employer. I have tried it with and without "With swipe lock" checked. My BT is A2DP.

With the Pin enabled I cannot open S voice either.. That's kind of expected though because that's a security breach if I am able to bypass the lock screen just by opening SVoice. For company phones I guess security comes before convenience.
Thank you for confirming. Unfortunately, the workaround (putting the phone in car mode and leaving it open) is much less secure than letting me make a call from a paired device. Oh well.
