Additional Info
The Kitchen should reside in a folder on your PC. In that folder you need to have the following:

OEM (collection of folders containing package options, as well as OEMDrivers/OEMApps/OEMMisc/OEMVersion/OEM_Lang_0409 folders and OEM.cer file)
ROM (OS.bn file and the XIP folder)
SYS (collection of operating system folders and an option.xml file)
TOOLS (utilities to build your phone image)
BuildOS.exe (tool to create package dump, preparing for compilation)
CreateROM.bat (script to automate compiling your image)
pkgcommon.dll (module for BuildOS tool)
Readme.txt (readme for kitchen)
temp (dump location after first build with BuildOS)

If you've downloaded the latest kitchen parts and have this, you should be ready to go.
1. Run BuildOS.exe
2. Select the packages you want to install.
3. Click the green arrow in the upper left corner.
4. Once it completes without error, it will say "done" in the lower left corner.
5. Close BuildOS.exe
6. Connect your Phone to the USB cable
*NOTE* Back up your phone, and ensure it has more than 50% battery!!
7. Run CreateROM.bat
8. Follow the prompts.
9. Do a hard reset after it finishes.
10. Enjoy!

My DL is now at 65K! am i to assume that this is a fully automated kitchen, with OEM aps included?

Its objective is to give a simple interface to select or deslect packages at will. You can put in as much or as little as you want.

You can add your own packs but only predetermined packs. On the first view its a great tool, thanks to matt for it.

Matt is TouchFlo added here already? or is that at a later date?

quick question about the htc home plugin included, is it the one with 3 tabs or the new one from the kaiser with 5 tabs?
5 tabs would be excellent, also the kaiser has a very nice comm manager with a 3g tab on it!!!
do you thing you could include these?

I'm wanting to get to it, but touchflo has been nearly all-dominating lately.
As time goes along and new packages are found/created/made available, I'll add them in. I wasn't aware of the new OS release, and it seems that's a pretty hot item
No worries though, between touchflo, the new os, and the kaizer files, I think there's lots of new stuff coming...

I hope you release TuchFlo ROM with kaiser files but without all those extra apps ( I like big storage to customize with my own apps )... Keep only important ones like Office, Streaming media, MSN Live, ect.. ( thats why I liked JJ`s ROMs )

Shooting for v2.0 because it'll involve major change... As it stands right this second (with only a handful of tests under my belt), the Touch touch.dll causes the phone to hang before loading the third splash screen... gonna be a long night

hehe.. The thing I dont understand is I saw it working FLAWLESSLY on an Artemis and Wizard.. why wouldn't it work on Hermes. Did they get the finger scrolling part of TouchFlo working on Wizard?

Initial impressions:
Internet tab does not work for me (but this can be tweaked with M2D customizer I'm told), Utube works, which is a first.
One niggle, the file explorer has gone from start>programs - I've added it to my programs tab but I'm used to finding it in the programs folder!
I like the black... but that makes the multicoloured icons on the upper bar a bit at odds with the theme! [IMHO]

I think this looks like a very promising ROM. May somebody report on battery use? Any chances that you come up with a less lite rom including opal canvas dialer, htc camera 4.0, registry tweaks, advanced config 3.3, CRC's device update and a comm manager with 3G toggle?

This ROM is exactly what I want but I have the same recommendation, with the newer data icons and battery meter with color and 1% increments this ROM would be perfect. The only other thing I will add to it besides the usual apps is the Opal 2G dialer just like pda corner or something a little jazzier but thats no biggie.

i cant read my text messages and for me it's to slow (with my apps). though it looks REALLY nice. back to T-Mobile's Rom

its clean but i believe this is a must to be included, the 3g phone app must be included for hermes if not user will not be able to use 3G video conference & the 3g button is not assign to anything.

Have you download comm manager from device update

SMS messaging does not work. When I click on a received text i get the box to type in but it takes up the whole screen and I cant see what was said in the text. This is with the threaded setting turned on in advanced config.

Love the amount of RAM you have free. I would give this a try but need the incremental battery meter and ideally the Opal 2G dialer. Glad you haveCRC's device update included so I can change Comm Manager.

Hey man, this can be worked around by turning off threaded messaging, and fixed by the chef by replacing htmlnote.dll in SYS\redist folder

Hey Dude,
For the clean ROM, it is nothing in ROM only Base ROM. You have the option to make your own ROM and to your taste. So, you have all the apps, how they need to install via device update.
For example: Comm Manager, MMS software, Dial 3G or 2G, another themen...
I hope that you have now a clear understanding my clean ROM.

Made just before my "departure", I will be back in few days. The Sense update hopefully fixed the lock issues that you may have encountered as well as the weather blocking reminders. But it isn't CFC'd for now so it may take up more RAM and storage space than before. That's why I removed Ahen Start Icons from the Sense edition of ROM.
Classic Dialer might not work with the latest Sense just yet but I'm working on that.​
## NOTE- On 1st Boot Don't do anything as XDA_UC will complete the Customisation process and Reset the Device.

Q: What can I do to lower my RAM usage?
A: Let's see a few tips:
Close open programs (use Task Manager or Showcase or you can install ArkSwitch or anything else that you like).
Clean up RAM with CleanRAM in Apps folder
Disable HTC dialer using Dialer Switcher in Tweaks - 5-7MB of RAM saved
Disable Ahen Start Menu Icons using Remove Programs in Settings - you'll gain 6-8MB of RAM! (Can be re-added using a tool in Tweaks)
With these, you can eventually get to nice 46% used RAM after boot with Titanium!
Q. Incoming SMS doesn't make any sound, the phone just vibrates. Where can I set the sound?
A. SMS ringtone and other tones can be set in Start -> Settings -> Sounds & Notifications, tab Notifications. SMS event is named "Messaging: New text message".
Q. I don't like new Starry theme...
A. I have included the old Wooden background as well. You can select it under Start -> Settings -> Home.
Q. Pagepool of all Roms?
A. All Roms are by default 10mb PagePool.
Q. Storage and Program Memory Available?
A. will update soon.
Q. Best Radio that compliments this rom.
A. Its personal choice, works well with mostly all reasonably good radios.

custom taskbar is of tsowen 6 v 3.
clock and date are in lite and full versions, its from PD Clock today plugin.
and herez the background.

Tried the clean version, seems to work fine. But version number is 21038? Will try the lite and maybe the full version too.

Bug: Task Manager keep applications running although set to close
I've noticed a bug: When setting Settings>System>Task Manager to close apps when hitting X, the apps still keep on running in the background.

yeah i noticed this as well, but apart from this its a great clean and fast rom
i'm using the lite version with rhodium manila v1d and it works great, i also installed rhodium volume control & notifications + htc gsensor
the only thing missing is rhodium comm manager/wifi settings, is there a cab for those?

yes it is. and its reason is the nuenobar application used to remove lower taskbar. have been looking for a solution. as soon as i get it will fix it.

the default nadavi communication manager is already there.

Restore of boot screen
Since there's an automatic installation of a new splash screen with this ROM (the one with the three 'balls'...), couldn't please give us a guide to how to restore the original splash screen? Thank you.

cool fast rom. seems stable and smooth. but have a bug in lite rom, always in call the volume of speaker goes down and then i have to again and again move it up to hear.
using lite rom. works great.

i had the complete files in my lappy but its gone for repair.
soo herz d rough tutorial:
1. Create the wallpaper 480 x 640
2. Convert the image to a .bmp (just use paint and save as a 24 bit bmp)
3. then use the tool to convert to .nb (Follow the instructions up to the .nb)

4. Use a nbh tool to convert from .nb to .nbh (you may have to change the xml file after running it once. I just changed the Kaiser info to the Diamond info)
