Trying to install mobile 6

Hi guys,
I have a new htc trinity, and i have a xda tool to install wm6.
But.. htc give me the following screen:

Doesn't it depend on the ROM he's trying to flash? I thought so too at first, but then I didn't see the Olipro behind the SPL...

I havent break htc after a restart e it turn on like it was

what do u mean with olipro behind spl?
I have run the utility tool n times but nothing, always the same screen.. as it is.. and the htp looses the usb connection.. of course...

The ROM you have is for a Wizard. Do not try to flash that!
You need one of the Trinity ROMs - you're in the right place!
With a Trinity ROM - it will go into bootloader mode (the coloured bars on the screen) and then you will see a progress% bar.
Once it gets to 100% - you have successfully flashed

Hi have finally tryed to upgrade trin... but...
I always get the 3 color screen...

I try to flash htc and it looses sinc with pc..

Everytime I try it shows the 3 color mod, and ROMUpdateUtility looses sync... this happens after I say yes in htc to bootloader...
Is it dificult to unlock a network locked htc? if so I probably will stop trying..

No problem...
When RomUpdateUtility looses sync just close and reopen it, but DON'T TOUCH THE PHONE!!! Is absolutely normal!
Believe me, I flash almost once a week, and everytime I have your "problem", note brackets cause is not a problem...

yeah just restart the update... if you follow the guide and manually place your device in bootloader, you won't have this problem.

Known Bug: Autoconfig wont work (will show blank screen) u need to cancel it to proceed. A fix is in this rom but dunno if it is working or not (Thx Cashmore for the fix)

I face a proplem that I have update my rom but during the updating my battary was ampty and the phone turned off. the updating not completed
now my phone just start the updating then hange I try to update through th external memory but same thing happened. ... can you please help me?

ehmmm did u try saving the file MarsII_G4.ABI in miniSD & then Hold DPad Left & do softreset ???

Well, I'm trying to find a radio to listen musics, however nothing, absolutely nothing is working!
I've tried, in vain, MEDIA XPERIENCE PANEL (this one couldnt install and I dont know why!), Xperia RADIO PANEL (allways off!) and Fm Radio.
I'm running XTREME TITANIUM Rom...
Could somebody here help me???

Well first I want to say that you have to use your headphones cause they are the receiver... (maybe obvious but sayin it just in case)
Second you need to install some additional software before you can use the X2 media panel, have you allready tried this?

Yeah, sure! I plugged the earphones but nothing. Like, the X1 Panel Radio still off!
Which kind of additional software are u talking about? Perhaps it's the problem...

im thinking.. and this is just a humble opinion your hardware FM radio is trashed.
is this a custom rom? if so all i can say is try another rom to see if the rom is messing with the radio.
if not a custom rom. then id say bad fm radio.

Hmm for some reason I can't post cab's here but you can find them in the panels library. You need to find the new media xperiance panel with radio. And you need to find ActiveX_deployment.cab, but i'm not sure where you can find this just search the forums.

FM radio version doesnt change.
the version your refering to is called the radio. it controls your cellular radio.
Also i understand you like the rom, however without you trying a different rom to see if the rom is causing the FM radio to fail. there isnt much we can do.
its like saying i need help, but i dont want to try to find the problem.

Thanks for choosing my theme.
But to answer your question... no. You must have root.
An alternative would be to look for a home app substitute such as ADW Launcher, Open Home, DX Top, etc. You wouldn't have the black bar and additional effects but it'll give a a slightly different look with some extra options.

Thing is i got this phone and it still has warrenty on it for atleast another year and since iv never really had a touch screen phone nor a phone with such a screen id rather not crack the screen or mess up the track ball and be screwed, but its pretty temping. i have a T-Mo Dash(S260 / Excaliber) iv hacked. Thanks to Xda
Heres another question for you. I dont think ill brick my phone but if i were to root my phone and someting happens couldnt i just re-flash the orignal firmware and t-mobile would never know it was rooted ?

Edit/update : Phone magicly says system update(lame it went from 1.5 to 1.6 -.-")
wtf i dunno how you ppl do it. hacking my t-mo dash was so easy sda-unlock and a nice gui flasher and done ! lol this this coplicated as hell... and to top it all of it seems i cant downgrade from 1.5 ?!

this is soo F$#%ing annoying. i downgraded my phone installed flash recovery... backed up recovery img but thats all i can do.. " download new img " is greyed out.
Edit : i got pissed off enough to just rename the hacked recovery file "recovery-backup" replacing the real backup XD and IT WORKED

WOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!! it really took about 6-10 minutes to root with out having any andriod knowledge and was really 5 steps LOL download 2 files on to sd card(rec img and rom) > install flashrec > flash rec file > reboot into rec mod > wipe phone & install zip from sd... DONE ! lol
ps. i used the the 1 click method simple as hell, instead of making the goldcard ****

follow this guide and flash a stock ROM again and flash Cyanogen MOD 6.1.3 and flash some other custom ROMs u wnt. i followed this guide and its working good fr me.

Is it possible I use the goldcard friend?

did your computer ever recognize your phone? Try re-installing HTC sync and go to where you have "ADB" installed and do: adb devices
ohh and that error comes from not making the gold card properly. when making your gold card, make sure your phone is in disk mode, not charge!

Goldcard helper + mem card reader should do the trick if you can boot to android.
