I am not sure why you say that...Are you using a stock ROM or some ROM from here?
If you are using Sense 2.5 there might be some Lag but choose the right ROM and you'll love your Diamond!

Hello.
I think a good one is by GXFX.He used yozgatg kitchen.yozgatg roms are very good also. But i think it's easy and i think you must try to cook one with yozgatg kitchen. It's very easy.i cooked mine and it's flying without consuming so much ram.Don't wait your diamond to behave like manilla 1.5.
i forgot donsalari(6.5 rom)
I have used this one for over a week without a wish to change (quite a record for me). Donsalari.
I believe it an ideal trade off between RAM and speed.

BEST ROM EVER: Gen.Y D2X R1.1 A/B
Look my signature
is there any good rom chef left here at diamond section beside mr. Yozgatg? he provide the sleek, eye-catchy & clean rom, manila v2.1, and the kitchen also!! he is one of the most amazing developer here at this forum. the others are tweaker, not a developer. including me.
that's my opinion.
rom 6.5 Clean Basic ROM SENSE 2.5(donsalari) vrery good,clean,fast...i think so.sorry because speak english
Hi I must still put in a good word for Donsalari.
I have used yozgatg's ROMs and fully agree that they are top class.
But, if you want 6.5 (which I do) and Sense 2.5 and still want RAM to run memory hungry programs (TomTOM, Opera etc) then at the present time Don's is the only one.
Just my tuppence worth.
Thanks Guys
I like Don salari very very much but it s not faster enough ...
maybe i should wait for 2.1 ..

You are right Donsalari are good ROMs but the lack speed of Energy roms or Yogtag..
I have tried almost all 6.5 roms out there.. Energy is the fastest, best looking rom out there, but than.. it's like a ferrari i can't afford with my resources
Overall the best .. Yogtag (no doubt)
The best ROM with sense is without any doubt the ROM of Kisja!
It's WM 6.1, but it's fast, stable, and almost bug free!

What exactly do i have to do to get Android running on my HTC diamond please?
My device now is using Diamond Lover, I have been doing research on this, but found quite a few of posts, and thus I am a little bit confused.
And which version of Android is most stable for HTC diamond (windows based HTC phone) please? are all the problems like camera, wifi, bluetooth and battery drain problems solved?
thanks for the time and advices
android 2.2 is stable on diamond ,i use it ,only reman problem is camera ,an usb cable support
so the camera is still not functioning? so how do I install android on diamond please? and may I know which rom you are using please?
Gps ?
GPS is working Too?
I'm using opendesire for 3 4 months, for a long time.
I'm looking for sense alternative due to problems that i face .
I want to have sense back.
The users who uses froyo sense rom , please tell me your suggestions.
Thank you
Leedroid
wait for the camera fix for HD ROMs ; )
or if you don't use the camera often, than RCMixHD
if you use it, than AuraxTSense
Desire HD port ROM is the best sense rom available but the camera doesn't works.
NextSense(AuraxTSense) & Leedroid are also good and i noticed nextsense ROM gives more battery life.
so it depends on what you need..!
Actualy i'm looking for more battery life and simplicity . Opendesire is best at this matter. But i'm looking for new alternatife because of lock problem

Well thats what I have assumed! Its a bit of a nightmare to keep changing between roms. I guess I could nandroid my current setup and just try it out!
Hi guys a noob here. Be gentle with me!
Just been following this thread as I am considering rooting my unbranded desire. I think I am right in assuming I don't need a Goldcard as it isn't branded? I am only interested in the new HD ROM once the camera issue is fixed. This is my question to you experts.........
If you flashed the HD ROM to Desire, would you still be able to register with HTC Sense.com??? Or, when you register, does the registration process check the IMEI or serial number and sees it as a Classic Desire and refuses?
Interesting question perhaps.......Anyone got an opinion?
Also chaps, once rooted will I be able to permanently disable the annoying startup jingle on the "quietly brilliant" page and also will I be able to change the key to bring the Desire out of sleep from power key to say menu or home key before swiping to unlock??
Looking forward to some good answers.
make a goldcard just in case...
Loaded RCmixHD no probably register for htcsense I was able to use some facilities ie downloading new skins
Trying cynogen 6.0.2 good setup. Auretaxsense has great CPU app. Was getting rediculous high scores on 7.9 using sense is

Yep, goldcard not needed for unbranded phones. With HD ROM (from RCMixHD) htc hub works and you can create account for yourself at htcsense.com, all these work like a charm. Now don't give ideas to HTC for doing device identification using IMEI or other tricks
Depending on what ROM you chose the splash changes, ofcourse almost all of them get rid of the "quietly brilliant" page.
Menu Key change is again done by the ROM gurus, either you try to cook one per you liking are use whatever you get
Hello Guys,
I know there are LOTS OF topics for that, but nothing helped me to make ma desire faster ...
I tried a million ROMs , and i must say the best and fastest ROM was MIUI but there i had the SIMLOCK problem, i dont know if its fixed now. ( but i like Sense ROMS)
Im using the RCmix HD ROM now and i wanted to tell that my smartphone become very laggy when i began to use a Sende ROM ...
I tried everything : Task Killer, Overclocking the CPU but nothing helped.. Now im thinking about selling my smartphone if i cant get it faster ...
It would be great if someone can help me out of this problem
Could be a number of issues. Install a stock rom and see if you get anywhere with that. Define laggy as well.
PS. Don't use task killers.
I want to try with an other kernel, but i never made it before, changing the kernel.
I know how to install it but dont know whcih kernel i must choose for the RCMix HD Rom...
If someone show me a good kernel for this it would be very helpful
Could be some programs that you're running/didn't close properly that is using up the cpu.
I personally can swear by Oxygen rom(Froyo) and GingerVillian (Gingerbread).
I've been using gingervillian for more than a month and its very fast.

Err, i find it acceptable. But that's just me, you should try different roms, to see what you like best.

Dear all ROM Developer!!
When will be available HTC Wildfire S ROM on Wildfire.. ?
There will not be. This has been spoken about before
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
Hi,
and what about htc sense??
can a developer extract sense files from wildfire S and port it to Wildfire??
To all asking about the new sense, it is being worked on by Emiliano7, developer of the JokerDroid series of ROMS, there is no guarantee it will work and function fully due to the hardware constraints of the Wildfire, mostly Processor, Storage and Screen Res. When he makes progress he has said he will update us. Just be patient and be happy it is being worked on.
Daniel
P.S. : Not wanting to be annoying but this really shouldn't be in Dev Section.
