Hello guys i have a Question.
Im using WM 6.5 With Manila 2.1 Sense and from a long time i see a big diference in the Weather what i mean is this:
On my Location when i Update it u know my city is update but the problem is that the Weather Update on my Location work only over Wi Fi and i can`t Update it via GPRS etc.
So what i did is i add my City in the Weather now i have for example 2 the same cityes the one is Automaticly recognized by My Location the other one is added by myself When i UPDATE the weather Often the Weather have Diference.
On the same time for 2 the same Cityes is writen 2 Celsius Raini and on the other -3 Snow so this is just for example and i dont know why this heppand and witch one from them is the true?
The one from my Location or the One i add by myself? and how this diference is posible i was thinking that the Weather come from the same source?!
Can anyone help me with this info? or do anybody find solution How to UDATE my location Weather via WAP GPRS?

The problem is not from the ROM i try also diferent ROM`s i think many other Peoples Have the same problem or Many of them didn`t know they have it because you need to use 2 the same cityes to see the diference befor this i was thinking all is fine...

I agree with you. Many people have the same problem but don´t know. I have tested "my location" and the name of my city and have got to diferent weather: patially sunny and patially cloudy and two different temperatures.
the weather system should be the same as the 2d manila version
in which case the 'my location' weather is correct at the time of update
but the weather in the weather tab is a general forecast for the day
so this should explain differences between them
thats how it is on the mega at least

Search for Weather database editor and you can add it, and it will work fine.
I've not done it but here is the solution from the wiki pages:
Add Small Citys to the Weather View
Install WeatherDatabaseEditor_1_1
Go to Accu Weather Homepage
Enter the City u would like to add
Copy the Text from the URL which appears then: EUR|DE|GM001|STUTTGART Example
Here: EUR|DE|GM001|STUTTGART
Copy this one in the WeatherDatabaseEditor.You have to CHoose your Country above and then Click Edit->Add City and under Accu Weather Code u paste in the copied Code and have teh City u want.

in order to have rom update you GOTTA FLASH YOUR DEVICE. only way to get rom updates w/o flashing your device is waiting for the new cab from cookers. i wouldn't be counting on it tho bc most cookers don't wanna waste time with cabs anymore. cabs files so big causes phone lags,stability issues, ect. best way is to flash you won't regret it. just go to the rom development thread and all the info is sticky.

So i'm wondering are roms for omnia suitable for xperia as well or is that another chapter? I like roms like QBus makes them or Taril, but i really dont like sector's roms. I donno if it's his style to make those roms that has vertical menu, i really hate that. I'd preferr manilla 2D or 3D on X1. Are those roms compatible or not?

No they are not.xperia has its own roms.u can view them in the roms section
there are loads of customizations for tf3d in xperia..u can see my thread..its the first..

There are no stable 6.5 roms. Because 6.5 hasn`t been released officially yet.
Which one do you use? I'm just looking for someone that doesn't have major problems like suddenly crashing or anything big.

it's a form of wasting vailiable space..
and u can either use valkyrie_v1 from agent_47
or the touch it from itje
or jerpeleas rom..
go try them and decide for your own wich one fits you the best!
Clock time mismach between panels
Hy I usually use 3 panels from X1
1st SPB mobile shell 2
2nd Default X1 panel, use it its the fastest way to get some configuration staf from X1 .
3rd its Second default X1 panel ,I love it BUT I have a time configuration problem , on main clock is always -1 hour from main time , I dont know why ...

Yes.what tiger x1 says will solve your problem.IF it doesnt then please check the time zone you have set in your phone.and in your pc.they should be the same!

Excuse me, but I can't help wondering, what's the difference between manila 2.0 and manila 2.1. I'm using Dutty's 3.3 and it says 2.0. But I thought that Dutty was using the latest one, so I'm wondering what's 2.1.

i work with the 2.1 manila,work fine just sms issue like sayd before,bud the tmobile theme is very nice,graphics are beautifull...
just look HERE to see manila 2.1 theme t mobile original,wallpaper is mine and tabs are changed bud top curtain ,clock,5day wheater,mail icons etc are standard tmobile theme(unchanged),much nicer then before a think.

the only difference that has been noticed so far is more icons in the programs tab. (30)
the SMS bug is a problem that many (but not all) people are having where the manila texting interface will allow the person to send a text message but not reply after a new message has been recieved.
A number of causes have been identified -
+ at the beginning of the number
GSM preferred setting
and which mobile network you use.
the actual cause has not yet been identified and nobody has yet been able to fix it.

Honestly befor few days i flash my device with latest ENERGY room WM 6.5 the room is with manila 2.1 and i don`t know why all peoples claim that have problem with the SMS
but i can tell you that I DON`T HAVE ANY PROBLEM with the MANILA.. SMS or anything else also the room work like a charm and is very fast
I use this latest room from around one week AND I DONT HAVE WORD`s is faster than many other room`s ive been tried and WM 6.1 also
Maybe position right now is that the latest ENERGY room 6.5 is the best avalible coocked room till now!
I don`t have any BUG`s with the room also like i say is more than fast..
The battery is good enoght i dont see my battery to dry faster..
I don`t know why many peoples complain about alot problems and bugs..
Also in the Keyboard the Space work everytime im using it

congratulation! you have a fully working manila 2.1. consider yourself lucky. now go buy yourself a beer.
i, on the other hand (along with quite a number of people), aren't so lucky. manila 2.1 refuse to work properly when we put it in our device. mind you, the sms bug is very real.
and please don't suggest hard reset, soft reset, reflash and so forth. i've did it all and still got bitten by the sms bug. all ROMs that runs on manila 2.1 that i've tried gets me the sms bug. and i've tried more than i could count.
so i just avoid ROMs that has manila 2.1. works wonders so far for me
This is very strange not only with the new manila im talking for the whole apps tweaks and etc.. on the same time ALL peoples here have the same Device but the real answer maybe is NO they are not the same..
Many peoples have problems with some app that other peoples run without a problem!
This is strange and i think we don`t know and explore everything in the WM room`s YET
Like i say yes maybe im Lucky because i don`t have any BUGs on my device..
But we must to think why this heppaning Always when something heppand have a REASON nothing heppand without a reason!

Are there anyone out there that can suggest a weather program for my Touch HD. I want to be able to enter the latitude/longitude and get the weather for that location. Not the nearest town. It's usually 30 miles away, AT LEAST! The old Handy Weather had this option, but after a while they decided to upgrade their software and that feature disappear. The old one can not be used.

Spb Weather
SBSH PocketWeather
and a lot of tiny programs I found around. Don't remember all their names. If it's commercial sw, that's ok. I can pay or subscribe as long as it works correct.

Think there must be a lot of people downloading. Im crawling at 23kbps - normally get about 350. It's dropped a lot in the last half hour.
Liking it so far. Icons are updated, but homescreen isn't really changed. Weather affects the whole homescreen, so when going back to it, just now the whole screen is rainingv - quite nice. Settings menu is much better. When going into settings for the today screen, HTC Sense is listed, but the homescreen doesn't match that of the pictures of the Leo, with the contacts and favourites on the home screen.
Nice so far.
(There is a radio app)

Just installed the (non-branded) upgrade, and i can see there's no manila 2.5... It's just the 2.1version!!!!!!!!!
Personnaly, i don't get it, what can be the reason not to provide tp2 users with it... seriously, i think manila 2.1 has no use at all.

Yeah, I don't understand why they didn't upgrade to 2.5. Is anyone else having trouble using the facebook integration? I can use the facebook app fine, but cannot login to facebook to link contacts to their facebook. I get a Input error - connection failed.
