hey i want to install the newest touchflow 3d.

in order to have rom update you GOTTA FLASH YOUR DEVICE. only way to get rom updates w/o flashing your device is waiting for the new cab from cookers. i wouldn't be counting on it tho bc most cookers don't wanna waste time with cabs anymore. cabs files so big causes phone lags,stability issues, ect. best way is to flash you won't regret it. just go to the rom development thread and all the info is sticky.

So i'm wondering are roms for omnia suitable for xperia as well or is that another chapter? I like roms like QBus makes them or Taril, but i really dont like sector's roms. I donno if it's his style to make those roms that has vertical menu, i really hate that. I'd preferr manilla 2D or 3D on X1. Are those roms compatible or not?

No they are not.xperia has its own roms.u can view them in the roms section
there are loads of customizations for tf3d in xperia..u can see my thread..its the first..

There are no stable 6.5 roms. Because 6.5 hasn`t been released officially yet.
Which one do you use? I'm just looking for someone that doesn't have major problems like suddenly crashing or anything big.

and u can either use valkyrie_v1 from agent_47
or the touch it from itje
or jerpeleas rom..
go try them and decide for your own wich one fits you the best!

1st SPB mobile shell 2
2nd Default X1 panel, use it its the fastest way to get some configuration staf from X1 .
3rd its Second default X1 panel ,I love it BUT I have a time configuration problem , on main clock is always -1 hour from main time , I dont know why ...

Yes.what tiger x1 says will solve your problem.IF it doesnt then please check the time zone you have set in your phone.and in your pc.they should be the same!

Go to start/settings/connections/wireless lan/powermode and change it to best performance.
Maybe this helps for you.
I did that, but it doesn't seem to effect at all..
If there is a bug in that slider app, can I set right powermode straight to the registry?
And yes I am sitting only three meters avay from my router and still getting only about 15% of full signal strenght.

fix the 3 pictures in easy steps
here how I did it, I am not an expert but it works for me.
move the file called (RUU_signed) from the folder of the ROM.
put this file (HTC Splash) instead of it.
just press (ROMUpdateUtility) like you do for upgrading the ROM it only take few seconds and you find that you have a diffrent start screen.
now you only left with one last screen wich you could change it by changing the image file in your windows via active syn called (welcomehead.96). just drag it to windows folder and replace the original one.
I hope you find it good!

The only time you see the PDAVIET logo is when you reboot.

I think that PDAVIET put alot of work. But it's Almost Perfect, the Splash Screens are really horrible, these Roms deserve better.
This is why you'll find in this forum alot of complains about how to make the screens better (or at least original)/

I havent seen any slowness using tf3d config in rom, but if majority counts to leave it out i could no in future

lol, it is not possible that the rom is slowlier only because my tool is installed. That makes no sense. Just installing an app which is not running in background has no effect to the speed of your device.

But besides that, this kind of issues should be raised inside the "Diamond TF3D config" thread, because if there was an issue with this application, it had to do with the aplication itself and not with the rom...

But if the application is built into the ROM and therefore ends up running, then the end problem is the same.

I beg to differ. If you read your thread, there were a couple of others that noticed it.
And on top of that... I installed the 1.3 or 1.4 ROM and had no issues. The moment I installed the TF3D configuration, I had a pause everytime I could hit contacts in the contact app.
I tried to uninstall it and it wouldn't work so I installed the new 1.93 ROM from HTC. I had no hesitation.
I then reinstalled Dutty's 1.5 and immediately had the same hesitation.
The program is great and perhaps it's just me but everytime I install it I have a hesitation.
I'm about to install ver 1.4 so we'll see if it works again....

But NOONE has the issue, that just after installing my tool or just after running and exiting my tool the device got slowlier. It is absolutely impossible.

It may be impossible but check out post 556 and 559 on your thread.... there's two more people having the same problem. I'm not dissing your work at all.... I think the software is fantastic, I'm just making sure I'm not the only one having a problem and if I am, I want to fix it.
Now, on to something else you said... I DID install a theme when I originally installed it. However, I've installed it since then with no themes and still find it sluggish.
I just reinstalled a completely different ROM (Diamond Project) just to see if I would have a problem. The problem is still there and I just noticed that it has the TF3D program built into it.
I'll try some other ROMs and see if that changes it.

I found out what the problem is.... You were right. It's not the TF3D program making it slow, it's actually when you hit the second tab (what is it, people?) and then hit all people.
There is a delay before pulling up a contact list.
Tonight I've installed 4 different ROMS and until I installed the last one which actually has "contact" in place of "phone" in the phone app, I realized if you click on contact, your contacts come up IMMEDIATELY.
If you hit people and then click on "all people" to pull up contacts, it DRAGS out. Each ROM has a different speed on pulling up the contacts but nonetheless, it's the damn TF3D software from HTC, not the TF3D config program you made.
My apologies, I was wrong and you were right... I'm starting to understand why so many people don't like the memory hog TF3D interface.

When I first read this thread I thought surely you are confusing TouchFLO 3D itself with the TF3D Config utilty! You do realise TouchFLO 3D is simple to disable? Just got to Start>Settings>Today>Items and uncheck TouchFLO 3D.

Yes sir, I did know you can disable it. It's just that I didn't notice it was sluggish until I added the config program so I assumed (yeah, I know....lol) that was the problem.

Excuse me, but I can't help wondering, what's the difference between manila 2.0 and manila 2.1. I'm using Dutty's 3.3 and it says 2.0. But I thought that Dutty was using the latest one, so I'm wondering what's 2.1.

the SMS bug is a problem that many (but not all) people are having where the manila texting interface will allow the person to send a text message but not reply after a new message has been recieved.
A number of causes have been identified -
+ at the beginning of the number
GSM preferred setting
and which mobile network you use.
the actual cause has not yet been identified and nobody has yet been able to fix it.

but i can tell you that I DON`T HAVE ANY PROBLEM with the MANILA.. SMS or anything else also the room work like a charm and is very fast
I use this latest room from around one week AND I DONT HAVE WORD`s is faster than many other room`s ive been tried and WM 6.1 also
Maybe position right now is that the latest ENERGY room 6.5 is the best avalible coocked room till now!
I don`t have any BUG`s with the room also like i say is more than fast..
The battery is good enoght i dont see my battery to dry faster..

congratulation! you have a fully working manila 2.1. consider yourself lucky. now go buy yourself a beer.
i, on the other hand (along with quite a number of people), aren't so lucky. manila 2.1 refuse to work properly when we put it in our device. mind you, the sms bug is very real.
and please don't suggest hard reset, soft reset, reflash and so forth. i've did it all and still got bitten by the sms bug. all ROMs that runs on manila 2.1 that i've tried gets me the sms bug. and i've tried more than i could count.
so i just avoid ROMs that has manila 2.1. works wonders so far for me
This is very strange not only with the new manila im talking for the whole apps tweaks and etc.. on the same time ALL peoples here have the same Device but the real answer maybe is NO they are not the same..
Many peoples have problems with some app that other peoples run without a problem!
This is strange and i think we don`t know and explore everything in the WM room`s YET
Like i say yes maybe im Lucky because i don`t have any BUGs on my device..

I haven't really tested it out on the 6.5 system but i know that it works. But i'm concentrating on fixing and adjust it for the usage on the 6.1 system.
I will in the future concentrate on adjusting it for the 6.5 system aswell.

I'm releasing the new build anyday now which includes more bugfixes and new functions. Before i release it I'll make sure to adjust it to the 6.5 system.
You said that the arrowbuttons are small, i noticed this last night and I relocated them and made them bigger. I'm trying to add the slide function but don't expect it to work until next month, at least. I also noticed what you told me, that the status bar doesn't appear in the multi-pages, and I'm trying to solve this.

it is worth trying though not heavy at all. the interface is still very early stage of work in process

hi mate, tried this on Windows Mobile 5 device (Imate Jam), I get an unexpected error in iphoneui.exe. The programs asks to quit and restart but get same result every time.
any ideas
Have you followed my instructions?
You may've missed that you need to install the .NET 3.5 version because it uses it.
If that isn't the problem then I don't, sorry. please reply and tell me if you solved it.
But my advice for you is to download the .NET 3.5 from my homesite.
