I wanted to find a Blackstone ROM with manila 2.1 so I went to the Blackstone ROM Development forum and clicked on search, advanced search, typed in "2.1" and selected "titles only" and clicked search and it says there are none. But on the first page of the forum I already see 2 results. I tried searching a few different terms and it always says 0 results.
3 positions & '.' don't work usually in search this thread. Use the top bar google search for it!

erm, afaik the universal allready had a wiki, and why do you call it the atom in your post?
Well that could be the case but it did not have a sticky. (you know Idea that you read the sticky first, go to wiki, use search and then post).
As to why it is called atom, well I rekon cut and paste does not have a content checker. I will correct it.

The forum search engine does not work (as it should):
eg: go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=260 , search for pim : "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.",
also tried to search in topics only, the same.. no result
i know that i can search also with google, but if i want to search inside a topic it's handier to use the forum search
i've saw that topic, and i know how to search with google (site: , inurl: etc)
but the forum search engine is handier in some cases.

sorry.. you can delete this thread. And maybe the forum search engine will eb fixed... many important terms contain just 3 letters (eg: rom, n0b , xip, etc)

Sometimes you need to check other forums. When I can't find something, I typically use the XDA Advanced Search, checking off the top "Search All Open Forums" option, and ensuring that I click the "Also search in child forums" checkbox at the bottom. In this particular case, I remembered that the title(s) of the threads actually included the words "ROM Koch", so I used that expression, enclosed in quotes, and selected the "Search Titles Only" option.
Lo and behold, here are the results. As you will see, there were several posts in the Hermes->Upgrading forum, one in Universal->Upgrading forum, and one in Dev & Hacking forum.

Is there any way to make the stock 6.5 ROM (RUU_Rhodium_S_HTC_Europe_1.86.401.0_Radio_Rhodium_4.49.25.17_Signed_Ship.exe) display 4 columns instead of 3 on the "honeycomb" start menu, the same way most of the custom 6.5.3 ROMS do?
I tried a couple .CAB's that were supposed to do this, but none of them had any effect. Does anyone know of a way to do this that has been confirmed to work on the above mentioned ROM? Thanks!

Hello.
I have been tried all day and couldn't solve it.
I have researched a lot and read all the critical articles on this board and
other foreign site.
I rooted my phone, install CWM for custom rom, install custom rom,
delete GO Launcher EX and being brick.
I know how to do factory restore, to go Download mode, how to use
UpTestEX_mod2_marwin.exe file and I know what kdz files are.

I tried to do that marwin.exe method.
I have v10i, v10f, v10k but they are first not working because
it keep saying that I have newest firmware so dont need to upgrade.
I found a comment on the above article and it is about fixing HOSTS file in windows directory.
It seems preventing from checking firm-version in LG site.
Anyway, v10k did not work but v10i, v10f works.
Process is stopped at 4% and it counts 1 to 100 and zero.
Phone rebooted around count 80-90.
But the problem is, it rebooted and stopped.
There is process bar under "LG OPTIMUS LTE" on booting screen,
it first moved a little but stopped soon.
I did factory restore a lot, reinstall and etc..
Please help me out!!

I solved it. You have to choose "CDMA' not 3g. on the program.

My comment was nearly for these who post references to page numbers, so it should read as: "...on page 29, unless one changed number of pages per post". Other words, refer to page number could be as useful as "RTFM" or "search the forum" replies .
